Mornington park fish&chips

Would give 5 stars. But since the change of owners and the super young kids taking phone orders. We never ever get the chicken salt we asked for.

We have called every time to let them know it was missed and they just don’t care.

Other then that the food is ok.

Tried the burger recently and was really good. Seafood always great. Really good chips and potato cakes. Great job, thanks guys!

We had the seafood pack and 6 fish bites, food was pretty tasty for fish n chips and felt very fresh. The potion sizes were quite generous and filled us up. The lady that served us was very friendly.

I’m new to the area and couldn’t be happier with this store. The fish is fresh, clean and generously portioned.

Dim Sims and Potato Cakes got a price cut in the new menu making them an affordable snack for hungry locals and the burgers and steak sandwiches are huge and delicious.

It’s been so long since I’ve had a good consistent fish and chip shop.

Please keep it up

Oh and I still think Hot Jam Donuts would work!

This takeaway was ok before new owners took over in early/mid 2023. Now - really good. Definitely be coming back. We had an Aussie Burger and a lamb souvlaki which were very generous with filling. Great start for new owners.

The fish and chips are the best in mornington. I thought they originally we're. Now very very small servings. However the fish has its hit and miss days and can be very clean eating fish and chips. I still love the batter as it's biscuit flour, but would like a slightly larger portion for price. Still cleaner than my other favourite which is go go fish main street. Super large servings.

Food is very good but skills on the phone need to improve, Tried to order but couldn't hear the girl clearly then was hung up on, Then phoned again while ringing and was cut off. Finally got through but staff need to be enthusiastic clear and concise on the phone not quiet and mopy. Be loud and Clear and kind of cheerful, read back the order, give a price then how long it will take even if you feel the job sucks. Customers do appreciate it!

This place was very busy when we were there with times blowing out over 30 mins but the food was all good and hot and delicious. Clearly popular for good reason.

Would give a zero but cant, so rude when called up, got a lovely young man who was taking my order, he was trying to work things out only for me to hear are you finished and his boss grabbing the phone off him and saying what you want then reading a wrong order out to me. No one should be made to feel this way at work and some advice to the kid. You DONT need to be spoken to that way or treated that way. Can not express how furious i am as i have a 15 yo son and this young man was trying his best. Ended up telling boss not to worry about my order and hung up.

The fish is the best in the area. Small servings however very clean eating fish and chips. Flake is amazing.

WHAT A RIPOFF
The box they put them in didn’t even go over the top of the box
Ive been going there for 10years but will NEVER go there again

We had a steak sandwich it was terrible, the bread should be toasted the sandwich
Itself was cold. They obviously made the steak sandwiches before rest of the order.
Chips weren't very good either.
We won't be back

Best burger I've had in a long time. Got dinner here. Had aussie burger with pineapple. So good. Chips were nice. Fish was lovely

Could you please update hours of opening / closing online and in store. Hit and miss when you are open or closed. You have been closed for weeks. Never any consistent times. It states that you were open 11-8 today, you were not open.

I personally think they have the best chips in Mornington I go out of my way to get them from here

Very good. The Veggie Souvlaki was excellent as usual. Took a while but well worth waiting for.

I found my new fish and chip shop! I was going to Prosser Seaford but with them being hit and miss when they are open I had to find another shop. Tried Mornington Park last night and it was delicious. Nice clean store.

The fish batter is fantastic but the fish is nothing special, the chips meagre and the whole package is overpriced.

Slow, ordered one piece of fish on break and by the time my break was over (30 mins) they hadnt even STARTED my fish, digustingly unorganized and the cashier was an loud mouth bogan, wouldnt have her rep my shop in a million years, suits the area well maybe.

Great value. Love the fish pack. Always tastes great so they must filter and update the oil regularly.
