Mornington Park reviews
31The outdoor play area is good for small people that are able to walk. Not really crawling friendly. It is also need of some repairs.
A gem of a park, something for everyone always popular with families, picnic tables available for use, public toilets, beach close by, please keep our beautiful mornington peninsula cleanenjoy your visit️
First visit to this park. Very nice and quiet place to have a rest from the hecticness of metro. Has playground and drinking fountain as well as sitting area. It also near the beach, not sure what the name is. Also it near the shops.
Anyway very much recommended.
Mornington park is a fantastic park for all ages. The kids can use so much of their imagination at this playground!
Medium-sized playground. Good tree cover and chairs for parents. Public toilets approx 100-200m walk opposite the ice creamery.
Excellent park which hosted The Vida Latin Festival last weekend. I am a member of O'Ziriguidum Samba School who performed with a group of Latin dancers on Sunday afternoon. Two out three performances were mobile, including the female dancers. Most of the audience really appreciated the percussion & dance performances.
Very clean and spacious park for kids to play while adults can relax. Walking distance to amazing cafes and boutique stores.
This place is simply serene, with one part of the beach fully quite so much so that you can assume it like a natural swimming pool. Just take your swim gear and you will love it in the summers. Other than that park has all facilities like hot plates, kids playground, near by food strip with Cole’s. If you are lucky you will spot stingrays and star fishes around the pier areas. And if you like fishing, probably one of the best spot.
Spanish festival was good.covid chks good.lots of food options and community dancing.support local events otherwise you will complain theres nothing to do.
Great playground, plenty of play equipment for all ages, shade, trees to climb, benches to sit, drinking water fountains, partially fenced (enough to keep the kiddies safe) views of the beach & boats etc etc etc.this park/playground really has it all!
We went to a 6th birthday party there recently - it was the perfect venue, all the kids had a great time:)
A very nice park with lovely playground. Great for picnics with quite a number of Park benches and tables. Designed to maximise open space. Beautifully trimmed huge old pine trees add to the picturesque feel of this park. Water fountain, bbq (sheltered and unsharpened) and toilet on site. A short walk to the Boardwalk and the beach as well as main town centre and main eating spots in town. Perfect location.
I love this park for the kids, they have so much fun exploring all the different aspects of the park.
When we went there was a lovely couple the woman was singing and man on guitar (I'm so sorry I didn't get your names to pop up here, hopefully someone else knows who you were) they were beautiful and my daughter was having a great time dancing to their music.
We watched people playing with kites and it was just such a relaxing enjoyable day.
There is street parking out the front and have never had trouble finding a spot. The park is gated to keep the kids safe. There are bbq areas and seating, each time we have gone there are people celebrating birthdays at them, you'd probably want to get there early as there isn't a lot.
If you brought your own marquee though that would still work and there is space.
Probably the kids favorite is there is usually an ice cream truck out the front.
Beautiful, open park with something for everyone. Large grassed area, wide paths and great play area for the kids to enjoy. All this is located a few steps from the jetty and beach and amazing water views!
Beautiful views of the beach.
At the end of Main st so lovely to grab some takeaway lunch and enjoy the scenery.
Great place to picnic or just have a stroll. Ice cream and hot food Van there. Heaps of benches and picnic tables to use.
Lovely park in a great location next to the main shopping strip and nearby beaches. The park is well maintained and it is a great spot for picnics and gatherings. Dogs are allowed in the park on a lead and there's plenty of open grass area. Nearby toilets, lots of benches and even a small museum not too far away. Some lovely views of the ocean form the top.
People of Mornington are the most gentle looking folks and kindness where to be found. Unlike the other suburbs most of its people are locals.
A nice relaxing park with seats and tables for enjoying takeaway meals, or for group picnics. Handy to shops and Main Street. Public toilets and rubbish bins there too. Play-equipment area for children to keep them happy.
Nice family Park with a lot of rides and very closely to beautiful Mornington Beach and on the other side have many shops, restaurants and shopping malls.
A lovely park to take in the view of Port Phillip Bay after shopping on Main Street. Lots of trees and a play area to sit and have an ice cream perhaps whilst the children play.
