Morgan Vineyards reviews
61 A nice selection of wine, spirits and cheese. Lovely venue with plenty of seating (both in shade and in the sun). Staff were very friendly too and we met their two dogs who escaped (but were very lovely).
Wine tasting was great and the service was very attentive. Unfortunately got there too late and the kitchen wasn't open (until 4 pm, with wine being served until 5 pm). We spent just shy of an hour there for tasting.
What a lovely experience. Beautiful wines, gins to boot. Incredible staff, Karen is wonderful and took her time to guide us through every aspect of their offerings. Definitely worth the visit! If you ever find yourself in the area of Morgan’s do yourself a favour and visit this winery / distillery.
Great place with friendly service and some lovely wines gins. Try the purple patch on the rocks
Morgan's was the best venue of our gin day out! There were three of us (I was DD so only had tiny tastes from my sister's flight).
We started here with a gin flight and cheese and meat platter just before lunch time.
We would revisit in a heartbeat. They had by far the widest selection of gins and the best grazing platters. The prices were very good for both tastings and purchases and the cheeses are also available for purchase. Next time we may try their wines as they have a good range and reputation for wine as well.
Our top pick (unanimously voted by all 3 of us), was the purple patch gin, followed by the vanilla vodka. All 3 cheeses were delicious too and I don't usually like blue cheeses.
Had a fantastic time working through both the Gin and Wine/Cheese pairing. Would happily recommend
Amazing cheese, lovely humans, beautiful scenery. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to go back!
We accidentally found this hidden GEM of a distillery. The sign read "Gin, cheese, wine". Clearly our type of place. We had a gin tasting and ended up buying just about everything. There own-made whey vodka is one of the best I've tried, and as a base to their gin, has resulted in a beautiful palatable range. I bought all but the dry - simply because I already have a lot at home already. We're now looking forward to sharing our finds with friends (slowly, and responsibly socially-distanced). If you're within 5 hours drive, it's well worth the wander. So wish the Fairy Floss Gin had been available to buy! We'll be back
Great relaxed atmosphere with really friendly knowledgeable staff. The cheese and wine pairings were awesome
Have visited multiple times in the past few years and have never been disappointed. The tasting area is small and can get squishy but that’s the only minor complaint. The wines are fantastic, the food is amazing and the service is always warm and knowledgeable.
We were lured by the ‘cheese & wine’ signs along the main road, and didn’t regret this decision in the slightest. Our tasting paddle was charismatically explained by Tom, who ensured that we felt warm and welcomed throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
I live in Qld on Fraser Coast. I had a glass of Sav Blanc at Arkarra Tea Gardens restaurant. I really liked it. Not sweet, not dry but just right? My problem is that I can't find anywhere on Fraser Coast where I can buy it? Any suggestions? Cheers Barb Richardson
What a wonderful little winery! The wine and cheese period was absolutely spot on! All the ones and the cheeses were fantastic! If we weren't flying from so far away it will definitely would have taken home a case and a lot of cheese! Highly recommend a visit!
Excellent staff who have an abundance in wine and cheese knowledge. Can’t recommend the Brie, Blue and goats cheese enough!
Beautiful grounds, tasty wines and fantastic staff. There's also dogs, a very friendly ginger cat, pigs and alpacas. Had a beautiful morning and will definitely be back
The vineyard wasn't open at 4: 20pm Sunday even though it was mentioned on their website that it is open until 5pm: (
Nice small cosy place, good wine specially try their Sparkling Moscato and Cider. Goes well with hot potato wedges with sour cream nd hot chill sauce
Myself and my wife, were out driving last Saturday which we often do. We dont often get out to this side of Melbourne and alot of our friends had recommended that we visit a Boutique Winery at Seville called Morgan Vineyards that they had all purchased, different, single vineyard wines from them over the past few months! Let me tell you this spot is a "hidden gem" we were greeted by a long sweeping driveway, which led up to this majesty of a property. We chose to taste all the wines on offer and loved them all! Thanks Michelle and Simon we will be back!
Great wine and location. We liked the turkey and the pig, and the cheese was pretty good as well. Lots of drop in visitors at the cellar door.
You have to try the Pinot Noir, and if possible purchase a bottle of there 2007 Fortified Cab Sav.
Fantastic hospitality, awesome wines, and delicious homemade dips. We were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend a visit.
