Peter has helped me enormously. I have seen him at different stages of my life, and am very grateful for his insight and wisdom which have helped me grow.

I have never had an experience with a psychologist where I felt worse by the end of the treatment than at the start. I felt like Peter was condescending and treated me like I was not human, but more an object in a case study to reaffirm his ego. Would ask me why I thought something was the case and after a coherent, educated answer to which then followed with a 5 minute explanation wasting time on what I had answered. I felt somewhat gaslit about a subject which I believed to have no significance. Stay clear please and Peter if you read this along with the other negative reviews, fix your method and your attitude.

We were very disappointed with the manner in which the consultation was conducted. A 50 min session was 30 mins, 10 mins of which was spent booking further double appointments! Very money focussed and did not provide any advice at all or initial guidance. Seemed judgmental and archaic in his opinions. This guy should be reported to the board for investigation.

I highly recommend Peter. He's very honest and I've learned so much about myself in the past year after seeing him. I continue to visit Peter on a regular basis.

Been going to Moreland Psychology for the last six years and Peter has helped me through depression, chronic anxiety and a heap of other issues which have been with me since childhood.

Never thought I would see a pin-prick of light at the end of this tunnel but it's happened and I don’t wake up in fear any more – people have noticed a complete transformation in me.

I was always a complete sceptic about psychologists until I went to Moreland Psychology – no mumbo-jumbo or modern-day quackery, just sound, common-sense and non-judgemental help.

Would recommend them to anyone.

Over the years Peter has helped me cope through some difficult times and to manage my emotions and work through every day challenges. I have found Peter's approach to be dynamic and adaptable and I feel like I am always learning about myself and growing through our sessions. I think he is an exceptional therapist and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I have been seeing Peter for almost all of the time that the practice has been open. I was very unwell when i started and am now much better thanks to his ongoing support. Even though i have been going at least once a month for many years I still learn something about myself every session.

Highly recommended and would not trust anyone else with my mental well being.

I have been seeing Peter for almost 10 years and it has had a great impact on my mental health and quality of life. Peters practical and insightful approach has enabled me to see what was clouded by anxiety before. Now I make more balanced decisions that are better for my overall well being. I stopped seeing Peter for a few years before I realised how my well being and personal growth was negatively impacted by not working with him on an on going basis. Once I started his sessions again it almost immediately got me back on track to enjoying life again.

Before my sessions with Peter anxiety controlled my life. My fear and inability to deal with my anxiety was hard on not only myself but also my family. I was referred to Peter over six years ago. I am the most calm and stable I have ever been. I know without a doubt this would not be the case without Peter. His patience, his quiet but encouraging nature and the strategies we have put in place now mean I have achieved what I wanted to out of our sessions. I am happy. Thank you Peter.

As a long-time client, who lives with depression, I can highly recommend Peter from Moreland Psychology. Through Peter’s questioning and guidance, my depression was identified and I continue to undergo self-examination that enables me to identify the factors which contribute to my depression. I have a greater understanding of what goes on in my head - and life is better. With Peter’s ongoing assistance I am still developing this insight and keep working on strategies to help me. By Peter liaising with my GP, I’ve had access to the Mental Health Care Scheme and this has assisted with the costs of therapy. Sessions are focused on my personal needs, not a one size fits all approach. And they are conducted in a confidential and professional manner relying on and, in turn, fostering a mutual respect between myself and Peter.

A friend had seen Moreland Psych and recommended them very highly.
They were very down to earth and clear about what we were trying to work on.
My depression is much improved and I found out a great deal of what had caused it and how to tackle it. Also found out a lot I hadn’t really known about my failed relationships and gained very valuable insights into my outlook on life and the choices I make.

All this guy cares about is money. He usually spends a lot of time talking jibberish instead of approaching and tackling the problem head on.

He'll tell you what your friends and family would usually say without any therapeutic approach. I'd even say that he, Peter (Pedro) Del Rio, is not qualified to help. He's just a good talker. Not worth the time and money.

Had been thinking about going to see someone for ages. Knew I wasn’t happy but never really thought that could change. I do now, and I understand a lot of other things I didn’t previously that have made a real difference in my life.
