Moo's at Meeniyan reviews
65 We ordered potato fries, and Rueben sandwich. The food was delicious.
Great atmosphere and good customer service.
I highly recommend The Reuben on the takeaway breakfast menu. Very crispy, beautifully cooked meat and perfectly tangy!
Lovely staff as well and cute vibes.
Was a little bit nervous about going in there because it's considered to be a venue that is frequently used by the gay community (information provided by a local person). But I was informed that a variety of people from various walks of life ventured far and wide to visit.
The food was good and the coffee was really good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Certinally worth another visit
Keep coming back! Moo’s is a treat, lovely food, something on the menu for everyone, even my vegetarian daughter. Marty is the perfect host and with his staff make it a very pleasurable experience
When we arrived to cafe asked do you have booking? No Oh she said try and see if any room on deck she did not help in anyway! Ordered 3 plates of Tappas 1 plate of Salmon croquet was ok dumplings tasteless and under cooked, shrimp fritters soft tasteless mush.left hungry
We had a lovely lunch yesterday at Moo's. Food was delicious (I particularly loved the potato cakes that came with my breaky burger). Pet friendly and staff are very welcoming, thank you!
Awesome Easter lunch marty never fails to impress his young staff are trained well and a absolute pleasure to be around food and coffee perfect as always
Hidden gem of the area, so lucky I found it. Everything is perfect in this coffee shop. Design is modern and has its class and style, warm pleasant atmosphere. Customer service is perfect, prompt and really welcoming. The menu has so many items it makes hard to choose from. Melas are delicious, the best danish I had in years, not too sweet and full of flavour. Coffee is excellent. As I’m in the area reasonable frequent even if this place isn’t really on my way I’ll make all possible efforts to come there again again and again. I only wish same place will be closer to where I live…) thanks guys will definitely see you again. Your place really made my day.
Great venue, superb food, super friendly staff - especially Marty. I eat eat here every time i visit meeniyan. Highly recommend
Beautiful food enjoyed by all, including gluten free options. Lovely customer service, even my 9 year old niece said how nice they were.
Went for breakfast, we we're to late, I raised my eyebrows a bit because I asked for some bacon and eggs, I'm disabled so we we asked for a coffee instead but everywhere we tried to sit we we're told that table is reserved. Just as we were about to walk out another lady asked if she could help and we said no your all booked out. She said nonsense how about this table over here, we told her what happened and she said its ok lunch is about to start and there is bacon and eggs on the menu. A shame we didn't get to keep her as our waitress as the next girl was really bad as well. To busy talking to staff while other people were waiting to order, food was awesome so you would definitely go there for that. But waitresses need a good talking to.
Was in the area for the long weekend. My wife and I had breakfast here which was enjoyable. The breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the coffee was a bit weak and watery for our liking, otherwise would have given a higher rating. Probably an important detail however given that there a few good coffee options in the town, and coffee expectations are generally pretty high these days. Would give it another chance next time we’re in the area as the place is nice and the breakfast was quite good.
30’ waiting for a takeaway coffee to find out after asking several times that they just forgot our order (two simple coffees). After that, we got served to burned coffees absolutely terrible experience
I had the vegetarian 3 small beetroot falafel. Two small pocket breads ahead of mint yogurt and old spinach leaves. This meal was not easy to eat and dry. Service was lovely but the food was not appealing.
This perfectly positioned corner cafe is hard to miss when driving through Meeniyan. Tastefully decorated and styled in a way that perfectly blends trendy cafe with stylish restaurant.
There are two smallish seating areas (rooms) inside, several tables out front on the sidewalk, and a big sitting area outback.
The menu is great and offers everything from Breakfast to lunch to dinner.
We had a wonderful dinner, so much so that we returned the next morning for breakfast which was equally as good.
Dinner: Loved the international selection of starter dishes (Mexican cheese & dip was so good!). Beautiful fresh pasta and delicious fried chicken.
Breakfasts: the Dutch pancake was incredible! And the salmon bagel really good.
Coffee was excellent- beans from Yarragon (Gippsland) roaster.
Service was excellent- so friendly & relaxed.
Highly recommended!
1st time here. 11.27 but no breakfast. Got this "thing" on tonys spoon. Not sure what it was but it had been broken from a larger piece. Was it broken up with corona 19 hands? Maybe a small whole biscuit more sociably acceptable. People next to us seated themselves, as we did. In the end the food was Magnificent.
Takeaway dinner coming home from Refuge Cove. Moo burgers fries potatoes cakes. We waited 20 minutes which is what should happen if you want great food and had a nice red on the deck while we waited. Cheaper than the pub.
"One of the best burgers in Australia"
I'd been to Moo's twice before, once for breakfast (very nice, and they didn't get an eye when we ordered hard liquor with it! We'd been out hiking for hours beforehand.) and once for a light snack.
I was very pleased with both visits, great food and excellent service. So today I took my family there for lunch. They loved it as much as I do!
I enjoyed the shrimp fritters. My eldest son is a bit fussy so he went with the southern fried chicken. It was nice and moist without the oilyness that a lot of fried chicken has. My husband had the chicken burger special and was pleased. My youngest went with the Moo's Beef Burger and labeled it one of the best burgers he's had in Australia.
Turned up at 11.30am and was told the kitchen had just closed until 12pm for half an hour while they take a break until the lunch service. Extremely frustrating - never heard of a cafe doing this. Strongly suggest putting this information on your socials so potential customers don’t waste their time.
Meeniyan's a cute little town about 30 minutes from Wonthaggi. We were recommended Moo's & it was good. No.very good. An eclectic mix of food offerings & really good staff.
