Moorabool Valley Chocolate reviews
33We needed a stop on our way to Melbourne city, and glad we chose this one. Hot chocolate was warm and delicious, chocolatey but not too sweet, one of the best hot chocolate we’ve had! Service was friendly, warm apple cake was a delightful accompaniment too. Follow the chocolate sign all the way in.
Layed back cosy setting, the handmade chocolates are ok but could be better at this price point. Overall worth visiting.
Good service, great coffee and food.plus hand made chocolates! What more could you ask for!
Great place to meet friends and enjoy lunch and spoil yourself with amazing chocolate. Only an hour from Melbourne so everyone should try it.
I have been a regular visitor of this place for a few years.every time I travelled from Ballarat to Geelong I would stop here.but today will be my very last visit. I was witness to the rudest behaviour from the owner today.whilst I was there, a group of mums and their children arrived for a small birthday party on the outside deck.these children were very well behaved and not overly noisy and it was lovely to see them in this setting.the elderly man whom I presume was the owner was disgustingly rude to this group, eventually asking them to leave after they had spent quite a bit of money there on coffee and afternoon tea.he stopped them from going to the scenic look out and was constantly telling them to get off the fence.they were not bothering any other patrons and there behaviour was brilliant at all times.this man and also one of the female staff members were so rude and unwelcoming that it has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will never ever attend this place again.they need to advertise that children are unwelcome if they are going to carry on like that.lost me forever and I will be telling all my friends
From NSW and was dying to try this place when I've been to Geelong and finally tried it on Saturday and while it's a little out of town it didn't disappoint.
Beautiful little secret. Awesome food, atmosphere and not too far out of town.
A gem
Super amazing coffee, such a great blend they have and great baristas who know how to make a decent latte. Lovely staff, and absolute great environment. Super hidden off the highway and no highway noise!
Such a comfortable, relaxing and picturesque place to visit? Ordered a pot of Peppermint Tea and scones with jam & cream. Scones were warm, fluffy and delicious! The perfect place for a morning break/lunch or pop in to purchase some of the uniquely handmade chocolate delights A true local gem for all things chocolate
Plenty of parking on site. Good selection of outside and inside tables for the cafe/tea rooms. Menu has sweet and savoury options. Many varieties of hot and cold drinks. Display case with handmade chocolates, cakes and desserts. Clean premises. Friendly, efficient staff.
A Quaint cosy cafe, friendly atmosphere. Great food.l had the ploughman's lunch which was great and a Vienna coffee. Excellent customer service, vast varieties of chocolate at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Staff was really nice, they had amazing chocolate and the prince was reasonable. The place is very scenic and has a rustic appeal.
Had lunch with a friend.
Good menu and a great assortment of chocolates.
Coffee is always nice and very friendly staff.
We turned up unexpectedly as ph service wasn't good. Very accommodating. They were quiet busy. Food good & reasonably priced. Chilli chocolate! Quiches & Pies with salad probably over priced. Making allowances for places due to covid19. Makes it hard for our elderly social support group to afford & do something else as well. Staff lovely. Toilets clean. Very clean venue, one of our ladies said.
I recently enjoyed a light lunch with my two friends at Moorabool Valley Chocolates
The staff were very friendly and helpful and we look forward to returning for our monthly catch up during 2022
The chocolate! This is my favourite cafe to visit when I’m in Geelong, I take my Mother or any friends, everyone loves it! All their chocolates are made on-site.
The atmosphere is fabulous. They have indoor and outdoor settings. I am always thrilled to be able to watch the horses being fed, groomed or washed. There are also the most amazing views over the Moorabool Valley.
Inside there is a wonderful miniature Moorabool Village built mainly with chocolate, it is fascinating, I just want to eat it all!
Being here gives me the feeling that I am in the country when I am only minutes from the City. I wish to highly recommend the Moorabool Valley Chocolate.
Lovely views, nice staff, delicious chocolate plenty of seating options. Open in the afternoon.
Visited here today with my daughter & Granddaughter, absolutely loved everything about it. Fantastic friendly service, fast service lovely homey atmosphere.
We were on the outside deck & had two lovely Magpies come say hello, much to the delight of my 20month old Granddaughter.
I had the savoury muffin & salad it was amazing.
My daughter had a bacon & egg toastie Amazing.
Then took a short walk to the scenic lookout.
Stuning views. I can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended
Highly re6
Always enjoy fantastic service and hot chocolate from here. Also update their flavours of speciality chocolate which is a joy to drool over. Let's not forget the miniture railway where the scenery is made of chocolate.
A lovely place to visit. The food was very good and excellent service. Prices are very reasonable.
