Won’t be back. Members Dining room -the bathroom facilities were so basic I actually felt like I was at a local footy club, the seafood and starters were below standard. Prawns were inedible… like someone had forgotten to defrost them so submerged in tap water for an extended period of time… watery and soggy on the cut end - NASTY! Oysters muscles worse than supermarket grade. The olives on offer were tiny and tasted terrible again below supermarket grade. The main chicken was dry and mushy peas felt like I was at a nursing home, thankfully the desert table was wonderful 10/10 for desert. Those with children: - the face painting was disturbing, the lady was quite rude to some children in front of us and I was disgusted when she had finished my four year old who asked for a rainbow unicorn and what she painted was a unicorn and unicorn poo. We didn’t tell my daughter what it was, we just washed it off with a wipe immediately and told her the lady did a could and it was a mistake, my daughter had seen a rainbow across the track earlier so was so looking forward to a rainbow face paint, my daughter was dressed immaculately and the face painters interaction with her was non existent she didn’t smile, didn’t even say hello, …. Seems like she had a bad attitude to children who were well dressed as the ones before us who were well dressed copped attitude too. There was also a man with her in workman style clothing taking photos and video calls to friend and filming the children…it felt a little creepy and I wasn’t impressed when he came up and started taking photos of my four year old! The face painting was so basic two colours - nothing like the rainbow unicorn she had pictured in her cards or what my daughter asked for and expected. There was a pony advertised - that was a joke too it was behind a fence when we were there and then dragged around by a young boy and grumpy looking lady. Children were looking over the fence at were completely ignored by the lady…. So not sure what the point of that was! My daughter was disappointed as she was looking forward to seeing the pony. Thankfully a kind strapper in another stall untied her horse and let some children and my daughter have a pat! Those with young children or asthma also be aware there is no designated smoking areas, it’s a free for all so everywhere you walk there is SMOKE. Most staff were pleasant to talk to but there were a number older ones that seemed grumpy and unpleasant.
2/10 we travel to interstate city and country meets and this is by far the worst experience. Wouldn’t recommend for families and I won’t be going back there anytime soon.

It is hopeless. As a owner with members tickets you get to track early and have to park up near the 400 metre mark. Once inside the grandstand is pathetic, outdated, old and smells. Only 1beer on tap so if you hate Carlton draught your done. Food is retirement home standard and prices are way to high for lack of quality. If there was one positive at least the track played fair - FOR A CHANGE! This club has gone backwards big time and needs a URGENT change in the PEOPLE running the place. First time I've been to valley in 18 months WONT BE GOING BACK not even when I have a runner!

Great venue that can accommodate a large crowd. Over 450 guests. Staff so kind and friendly. Great food and table service.

Great day out at the races. MVR really looks after owners well with a super lunch or dinner. Fantastic viewing from the deck and good atmosphere in the mounting yard.

After paying $11 for a beer I got dizzy from the 60 odd staff members telling where I couldn't gl! Never again

Absolutely amazing service could not have been any more helpful. One worker in particular named Molly had such a delightful and caring attitude to all my needs.

The team at Front Row would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you to the event co-ordinator Helen. From the start to the finish of our set up, Helen went ABOVE and BEYOND to help. We had the most outstanding Friday night racing at Mooney Valley.
From the moment we bought our entry tickets we were give the most amazing service.
Mr Charles Borg who met us at the enquiry entrance took us on a wonderful tour of all the facilities after getting out members guest badges for us.
He even gifted me a Cox Plate badge and I was thrilled.
He showed us where we should go and eat and watch the horse parade and the best views there.
Charles showed us his love for tge Mooney Valley club.
It was a wonderful evening.
He even said comefind him at Flemington the next day in the mounting yard.
Unfortunately we didn't get too.
But I will always remember how we were treated by this lovely kind man.
He is definitely interested right job as he loves it so.
He is worth more money. Victoria Racing we will come back especially after this amazing 2 days racing. Love the Friday night races.

First time there went there for Melbourne Pathology 100-year anniversary with my wife and enjoyed it would like to go back when it's actually on

Old amenities. Single flush ladies' toilets. No hospitality for the in between of members and grab some dimsims. No where to sit in comfort.

Great to be back at the Valley only a handful of bookmakers and bar staff shortages due to covid

Track starting to play significantly more fairly (I’ve jinxed it now) and much more enjoyable spectacle. Members a tad dated but cheap food/drinks absolutely no complaints.

Visited Moonee Valley Racecourse today and was impressed with the state of the course and also the facilities. The function areas were of a high standard around the public Bar area and also on the top level where the room had a really nice ambience. Well worth a visit. We were there to view the Showcars Melbourne PPG Showdown 11. Hundreds of Beautiful cars on display inside and outside beside the actual Race course. Place it in your Diary for next year as it would be the BEST Car Show in Melbourne.

We had a group booking at The Black Caviar Room for the Blue Diamond. Our meal was first class as was the service. Special thanks to John who provided fantastic service and saw to it that every part of our experience was positive. Many thanks.

It’s a racecourse, I experienced a privileged view of the area so can’t really speak for the general public experience.

Security needs to be consistent to all people with regards to people be in their selected area. Not pick and choose as they please.

One of Australia's most iconic sporting amphitheatres. Rich in tradition. Bountiful for today. Plentiful for tomorrow. It's a must see.come feel n breathe what the human and equine athletes pursue- greatness and immortality.

Fun Friday night racing at the Valley if you enjoy this sort of entertainment. Well implemented COVID practices throughout.
