Moonee Ponds Super Clinic

I visited first time this clinic two months ago when I twisted my ankle, the GP gave me a referral for an x-ray then he called and says all looking good. My ankle is not any better since then so I wanted to get another referral to go get another scan done and then start seeing a physio. They asked me to come in for a visit and pay for a full appointment just to get a referral when I already visited them for the same problem. They should be able to provide a referral if they have seen you less than 6 months for the same problem. I didn’t feel listen by the doctor whatsoever. Plus the doctor couldn’t even recommend a good physiotherapist around the area! Waist of money and time.

I regularly come here but it was my first time being served by Dr Grace Yuan and I've never experienced someone as rude as her in my life. I walked in politely asking for sleeping medication amongst other things and she was yelling in my face and literally said I DONT KNOW. WHAT CAN I DO.it's okay if you dont know but dont raise your voice with an angry annoyed expression to someone who is asking genuine concerns in a calm innocent matter like a normal human being.

She was clearly frustrated by something that may have happened earlier (heard her yelling on the phone when i was in the waiting room) or wanted to go home asap but to walk in after waiting for an hour and suddenly being dismissed by an angry person who has absolutely no intent of hearing you or helping you. Ended up being prescribed with valium and i had other questions but i told her im going to politely just leave since you are not level-headed. Had teary eyes walking out because i was so shocked.

Please re-evaluate her

A long term sufferer of fibromalgia nerve pain in my feet has been resolved with CBD oil prescribed under the guidance of Dr Tashi. An added bonus, it also helps with my anxiety levels. Its s shame that Australia is still cautious of this as an alternative medicine for pain management while the rest of the world embraced it many years ago. A true game changer to my life.

Staffs are friendly. Dr Ming Lam Tsang (Daniel) is really caring and listening, professional. Highly recommended

Make you wait, waste your time then charge you. This is meant to be a GP clinic not a Rhianna concert.

Receptionist and useless Dr wouldnt assist palliative care nurse with a script for nerve medication for cancer patient. Enough said!

Dr Tashi and Farzin are brilliant but takes a week to get an appointment even if your in pain, which can happen without warning. No wonder hospitals are backed up. The whole system is broken and patients suffer!

I recently joined this clinic and am very happy with Dr. Sahar Nahavandian!
She is courteous kind and very professional.
Also I can see her face to face!

I have been attending this clinic for around 3 years and I am finally happy with my doctor, Dr Mohammad Jabbarpour. He provides the upmost care and will always thoroughly check everything before you leave and will even call if something is wrong. The girls on reception have been absolute life savers when needing a last minute appointment and fitting bit myself and grandmother in. They provide so much care and are extremely helpful especially Chloe, Paula and Katrina. Thank you girls so much.

Went for an appointment. I was told that $50 are pending for a cancellation of appointment in the past and told me that I received a SMS. I asked the team to show me, there was never no invoice on email and no SMS, nothing. They tried to make different reasons and asked me to pay before I go for Doctor's visit without any invoice. The team asked to pay $50 for cancelled appointment for a doctor fee of $39. I was sent back, I sent an email on health services quality problem and they started sending all their missed SMS and emails. Inefficient staff and doctors happily joining their team.

Excellent practice, great courteous front desk staff. My family has been seeing Dr. Muhammad. He is an excellent doctor in every respect.

Avoid if you want professionalism. They inform you on your arrival that your appointment has been cancelled and “NO! ” there are no openings in the coming days. Even an obvious injury in need of medical attention can’t sway them. Stick with a smaller better run practice.

After 20 years I’ve swapped clinics! My doctor at the other centre was caring and competent but it was such a hassle getting an appointment and the administration were grumpy and made basic errors. I felt that service had deteriorated since the ownership changed. The upholstery on the chairs in the waiting area was filthy and hadn’t been changed since inception. I even wrote to head office about the state of them I grew so disgusted.

I’m so glad I’ve changed to the Moonee Ponds Super Clinic. The two doctors I’ve had occasion to consult during this pandemic have been young but super ‘with it’ and wholistic. I don’t care if the chairs are plastic, they are clean! The reception staff are young but very efficient and friendly. They went to so much time and trouble to get my podiatry care plan from the other recalcitrant mob.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Tashi for about three years, before he started at Moonee Ponds Super Clinic, we having followed his progress and the medical courses that he's pursued for the betterment of all of his patients. He's always been very knowledgeable, highly generous with his time and has cheerfully clear communication skills. We can tell that he's passionate about his work as he clearly stays up to date with the latest medical advancements, I having benefitted from this. On reading the few toxically negative and highly vindictive reviews about him, I can only assume that the authors of these have previously never been his patient, and/or have gone with the express purpose of beguiling him in the hope of obtaining prescriptions for, and things, that they shouldn't have. That a patient is kept waiting for an appointment is unfortunate, but a physician's consultation with previous patients may take longer than estimated, however, it doesn't detract from his ability. I’ve been coming here for a few years now, I think it’s time I left a review.

Dr. Farzin Torabi is my most trusted doctor by far. He is knowledgeable, kind, he explains everything you need to know in great depth and answers any questions you have. He has helped me through many parts of my life and has assisted me greatly in getting the help I need. Thank you to Dr. Torabi for all of his support, I highly recommend him as a GP.

I’d also like to thank the nurses, particularly Farrah and Kate for their help, I came in for an iron infusion a little while ago - both were so gentle, caring and they too explained how the process works very thoroughly. It was quite fascinating to see how the iron infusion worked! I also highly recommend Farrah and Kate, they’re lovely people.

Also, to the ladies at the front desk reception - unfortunately I haven’t gotten any of their names, but they have always made checking in simple and quick, they are so friendly, polite and they always greet you with a welcoming smile which is great.

In general, I recommend this clinic to everybody who needs a reliable doctor and friendly, caring staff to assist them. To everybody at the clinic, thank you so much for all of your help.:)

I've only had one appointment here (telehealth), but I was very happy based on this experience. I dont know what the other doctors are like, but Dr Sahar Nahavandian was on time and very helpful; her kindness actually took me by surprise as I am so used to rude doctors. Would definitely book an appointment with her again.

Dr Sahar Nahavandian is an amazing doctor. Caring, kind and most importantly, always listens to any concerns you have and provide accurate health advice on several matters. Doubt I’ll find another GP as lovely as her in Melbourne.

The receptionists are rude and the doctor was not really interested in my personal preferences for injectables. I really think that Brazilian doctors are the best ones for beauty treatments, but Dr. Lucas was very different from the ones I met in Brazil. Try to find someone who really cares about what you want, instead of trying to sell treatments you don’t need. I have three other friends who are not coming back there ever again, and I am just joining the list. I have never been to a doctor who would disregard completly what you had to say - such a bad attitude - very dissapointing.

I booked an appointment (which was 20-25 mins late) and the GP told me they don't 'do' mental health.so I get to come back in a week to see one that does and Medicare gets to pay for that 2 minute appointment!
