Poor customer service in the form being quite dismissive, arrogant and rude. Have return to this extremely average business on three separate occasions to have a very simple watch battery changed. Each time I return I'm met with a staff member than doesn't give a rats, as well as ridiculous price increases. Had the battery changed last year, for a total cost of $10, literally just had it changed not even a year later, and charged me $25 for a 5 minute job. I wholeheartedly understand price increases to reflect the extreme cost of living, but this is ridiculous! Will not be returning.

I do not recommend it. Horrible customer service, utterly unprofessional and rude. I sent two watches to be fixed a week ago and they said one of my watches needed to wait for a quote on the parts. I waited for 1-2 weeks ago and I have not heard any updates from them and therefore, I changed my mind and did not want to fix the watch anymore. However, they went ahead to fix my watch without telling me. All I thought was that my watch was sitting there waiting for the quote and I did not see anything wrong with asking for my watch back if the repair hasn't even begin.

It is absolutely unprofessional on their part for the lack of communication. I had no problem spending the money to fix it but if it was going to take too long or too expensive then I would reassess if the repair is worth it. I was also under the impression that they would give me a quote first before proceeding with the repair and so I presumed nothing will be done until a quote is given.

Not only that, they tried to put the blame on me by telling me the reason they proceeded to fix the watch cuz I was too "pushy". Also, the other watch that was able to be fixed on the day was not working properly again within a week.

Steve is a great guy! Friendly and professional. He is always trying to help and do the best for you. He has done my car key and remote and house so good for. His pricing is good too!

Excellent and friendly service at Montre Shoe Repairs.

I had my pair of work shoes fitted with new soles and heels about three weeks earlier at the Frankston store. Unfortunately, one of the soles started peeling off after three weeks. I took a picture of it and sent it to Montre’s Facebook account. They got back to me and asked me to bring it back in. Which I did.

They were upfront and said that the glue had failed and they would replace. Problem was, it was a Saturday morning, the shoe would take time to fix and they weren’t open Sunday.

That said, I mentioned that we frequent Westfield Southland as well. I took a call from them later in the day saying that they had finished the repair quicker than expected. They also told me they had a staff member who was working at their Frankston store then, who would be at Southland the next day. They asked if I wanted to pick it up Sunday (instead of Monday), which I did today.

Appreciated them repairing it quickly and making it available in a shorter that reported period of time.

Had an incredible experience here, the gentleman who works here is so unbelievably lovely and was able to do my shoe repair on the spot! This will be my go-to for shoes and keys forever.

Just got a battery replacement for my car key. Didn’t work initially and turned out it needed reprogramming/ configuration which Steve did. He was very helpful and professional. He was only too happy to walk to the other side of the shopping centre to do that.l will definitely be back to get second key which will unlock car. Very happy. Thank you. Great service. Have been here multiple times. Engraving, replacement car keys and shoe repair. Each job has been completed to a very high standard and with a quick turnaround. Can't recommend them enough!

Had a car key repair done by a staff member who told me would be able to do the fix within a half an hour who on my return had failed to complete the repair and asked I return a day later. I returned a day later and received my key in its new shell in poor condition. Fast forward three months after the initial fix and my key had failed so rightfully so I returned to have my key replaced at which point I was met by a different staff member. The new staff member did not recognise me and yelled at me to produce a recipet acusing me of lying about my purchase. I requested to talk to the staff member that was present during the initial repair however I was told he was not available that day and could not be contacted even for a few seconds to confirm my identity. After half an hour of frantically searching through bank statements in tears I was able to provide proof of my payment and left. I would strongly suggest that anyone who needs anything repaired stay away from this place as if you have any issues you will be met with nothing but anger and frustration. I was not provided with a itemised recite from the store its self and was only given an eftpos one as the store does not provide them. Luckily the staff member Rebecca was nice enough to comfort me however the owner is horrible businessman.

Have been here numerous times for watch band repairs, always attended to straight away, very friendly and items done urgently when requested. Definitely 5 stars

I brought in 5 pairs of relatively new high heels for new tips and soles. 2 shoes had the tips fall out on the first day of wearing them! One shoe was given back to me broken, with the heel slightly detached from the shoe! It was a couple of weeks before I chose these heels to wear so wasn't aware of it immediately. I returned to the store and was told that they wouldn't have touched that part of my shoe. These were new Kurt Geiger shoes that were perfectly fine when I dropped them off. It's a shame I didn't inspect them properly when I picked them up. I won't even bother bringing the shoes back to get re-done as I have no faith that they are capable of doing a half decent job. These weren't cheap shoes either. I have a lot of heels and have used various shoe repair places and never had an issue until now.
