Montfort Manor

The Montfort Manor is a beautiful place to stay and so close to the town. We had the whole place to ourselves and loved that each room had its own ensuite and cooking facilities. David and Melinda were so accomodating and everything was in great condition. I highly recommend the manor for a beautiful getaway!

Highly recommend for anyone visiting or staying In Traralgon. 5 Star hotel style suite for only a motel rate. You won’t find a similar stay in Traralgon that matches the experience and price. Flexible and accommodating staff, we will definitely be returning. Thank you

Great for a weekend getaway with the extended family, absolutely plenty of room beds and comforts. Loved every minute of the luxury of living in a manor.

I've stayed in many holiday homes in Australia and overseas, and I found Montfort Manor one of the best places to stay. There is plenty of room and things to do for the entire family. We were a group of 10 adults and 7 kids and everyone enjoyed it, from the Netflix and Disney Channel to Tennis Court, Water Pond and Beautiful Natural Surroundings of this 7 acre property. Inside has cosy living rooms with fireplaces, good size bedrooms with comfy beds and pillows. The weather was not too great as it was raining intermittently during our stay, in that case I wish there could be more fun activities indoors. A Pool table, Table Tennis, and some other indoor games what I can recommend. Both David and Melinda are great hosts. I also thank them for treating us with sumptuous cake and very nice wine that they made themselves. I would love to come back again here may be in Summers

We had such an great time here. The photos do not do the house justice. It is an absolutely amzing property that is maintained exceptionally well inside and out. The hosts Melinda and David were extremely hospitable amd ensured our stay was comfortable. We have made memories forever and would highly recommend this place.

Such an impressive and fantastic accommodation, including the wide space of open ground to relax in, which has the wow factor. Both host Dave and Malinda were so accommodating.

One of the best experiences we had in our group during our recent stay at Montfort Manor, great property, activities like swimming, tennis courts, bike trails & much much more, everything was very well kept, spacious.

David & Melinda are exceptional host, very caring, Melinda was so nice that she baked cake personally and gave it along with home made sourdough the following day, very rare to find such host, best part was like they value guests more than anything else, fanstatic experience, highly recommend it.

We were lucky to spend Christmas holidays with friends in Montfort Manor. Enjoyable relaxing place.beautiful property with attention to the details to make it more homey and comfy. The house itself has a character and you feel it in different aspects.honestly I love every single thing about this place but above all, Hosts’ manner, kindness and their welcoming approach towards us made it even better. Thank you David and Melinda. Absolutely beautiful house and fantastic communication from the host. Was in a great location, nice and close to all the amenities, The pools were fabulous and the backyard was the perfect spot for entertainment. Loved the Tennis court, massive 4 on suites, 3 huge living areas, clean kitchen, huge outdoor with beautiful lake outside the house with int he property. Will definitely be booking for our next visit. The house was great. It was clean, modern, well stocked with everything we needed. Check in/out was uncomplicated, communication from the host was straight forward.

This property was really great value for money, lovely location. In simple words it is a dream holiday home.

I would dare say that this is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in.it is perfect for families with kids. The pool, tennis court, rooms, bathrooms, living areas, landscape of the property was very very well maintained. Each and every corner of the property had something unique about it.

The hosts Melinda & David are gem of a couple.they were always available if we needed them and the highlight was the caramel slice and a plum cake that Melinda made for our stay.

We stay at holiday homes few times a year and will rate Montfort Manor right on top of our list and will definitely be visiting this property many more times in the future.

I had the extremely good fortune of being accommodated at Montfort Manor over several extended work trips. I stayed in several of the well-appointed suites, each with their individual charm. The Manor was an awesome place to stay and the grounds are stunning and well worth exploring. What made it all the more special though, especially being away from home for extended periods, were the hosts - David and Melinda - who extended their hospitality and went above and beyond to make myself and the rest of my colleagues feel at home. I highly recommend a stay at Montfort Manor. You might even be lucky enough to experience Melinda's amazing caramel slice.

Montfort Manor is a stunning hidden gem!
Just in case the beautiful manor, comfortable rooms, amazing heated lap pool, lush gardens, tennis court, BBQ, communal areas & more isn't enough to make your stay - the hosts Melinda, David & McKenzie always go the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect (Melinda's surprise afternoon tea's were a real treat, not to mention all the amazing homemade preserves etc that we had in our fridge for breakfast each day). 10/10 will be back for sure.

Wow where do I begin! We stayed at Montfort Manor for 8 nights and right from the moment we stepped through the doors we felt right at home. We were greeted by hosts David and Melinda who could not be anymore gracious and welcoming. Everyday Melinda baked homemade sweets made with fresh produce from their garden (her Banana bread was divine). Lounging by the pool everyday felt like we had been transported to the Italian countryside - absolutely stunning. I cannot wait to come back, thank you David & Melinda!

Our stay at the manor has been amazing, I highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for a country getaway.

David and Melinda were very gracious hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and even baking us fresh cakes and cookies daily.

Great home with beautiful attention to detail. Luxurious space. Wonderfal natural grounds. Very engaging hosts!

It’s a beautifully decorated property which pampers us with little luxuries. The place is quiet and private but not far from the city centre. David, Melinda and Carley are such lovely host and hostesses. They really look after their guests and go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. We look forward to our return each time.

It’s very quiet, a majestic home, and overall special. There are also many great family friendly amenities and the owners are wonderful. 10/10 recommend!

Feels like home. Lovely and welcoming. Best sleep in forever. Sweet touches like the homemade slices and fruit plus coffee pods not instant - yay! It's the little touches that make this place special and the gorgeous hosts.
