Monash Waste Transfer Station

Went along for a free tour and learned so much about what goes on here. So much stuff that they accept for free including fabric, fluorescent lamps, old mobile phones, kitchen oil, polystyrene, and more.

They want to charge me for
normal waste $350 for van load no batteries not tyersno paint cans nothing just normal rubbish they are very expensive

I used Monash recycling centre today for the first time for soft plastic disposal. Staff are very helpful and got directions for each recyclying items. There are large bins for paint, hardware such as fridge or computers, metress, cupboard, metal & batteries.
I will go there every week from now on for soft plastic disposal as its easy access, friendly staff and environmently friendly.

Very friendly staff and clean station. This place is much better than Whitehorse council's recycle centre.

Well organised recycling centre. Staff are helpful. I disposed a large printer. Free disposal of computers, laptops, printers, paper, cupboard, scrap metal & batteries.

Visited with the intent of dropping off paint. After paying at the gate approached the area where paints were meant to be left. Then told paints were unable to be deposited due to capacity having been reached. I suggest the website is updated to show these changes. It was a wasted trip and even the guy on the gate confirmed the paints could be left only for me to find that wasn't the case.

The website says closes at 5: 15
I’ve loaded up a trailer of recycling to drop off at 4: 45pm.
When I arrive, the sign on gates say 7-3pm and the place is closed.

Do you get enough in rates to pay someone to manage your web site and keep it up to date?

Poor form

A truck load of packaging boxes due to online ordering gets disposed off finally over two year of lockdown in Victoria. $17 including a few general trash such as the packing forms and plastic wrappers in the boxes only thing make sure they are separated out for the staff to view.

However I needed to do a pee so I went behind the water tank.apart from that everything thing was Awesome. I got rid of some very old XRAY films I've had for years. That was the reason for me Going.

Hate throwing polystyrene in the bin and my local council tip won't take it - these guys recycle it free, no hassle at all.

Running a concrete business For long time

The training for the staff is really poor they don’t know basics for the cubic meters.
I’ll be going to this place since 2012 you always can see a new person for pricing and they always price high.

Staff is unfriendly and not helpful for the community who is doing the right thing

Bad service

Local Kingston council was gonna charge me $63. I called up this mob and dropped off a whole lot of cardboard and polystyrene for free.

This is a great facility to have access to.great for the slow process of dehoarding.can be done in steps at one's own pace.instead of waiting for the hard rubbish

This place is easy to get to. It is well laid out for all disposals. They have cardboard, paper, plastics, glass containers recycles. Plus there is paint tins, tyres, E waste, whitegoods and even mattresses. Oh, they do hard rubbish as well. Some is free and others have a charge paid on entry. It has been a great place for our clean-outs from Reno's to just hoarded gear.

Great place to throw out your unwanted stuff for re-cycling. Service is friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable.

The prices reflect urban waste and are fairly applied at toll booth. Friendly customer service.
Guys in yard were helpful in directing my trailor. A very clean, well organised facility.

It's so great to see recycling work from Monash Recycling Waste Transfer Station to a better green preservation of the entire environment.

Very helpful and well organized. Only thing was it would be nice to have 2 people checking the cars in as we landed up in a long queue and it took ages to get through.

Just used the facility to drop of some e waste.

This place is a rip off $118.00 for a falcon ute load then went back for a second trip on same day same sort of load and got charged $55.00 seems to me different employees makeup their own prices
