Momoco Sushi San reviews
42I honestly as soon as I entered I got Japan vibes. I'm so happy with all the amazing fresh food. I ordered California sushi wagu beef noodles even my mango drink with pearls was a hit. Definitely will be back.so happy and so local love that for me haha thanks for making the meals bloody fantastic and Ur friendly staff. Need more service like you! Keep it up.
Nice food, a range of Japanese figurines spread throughout the restaurant add to the charm.
Ordered the Bento box and Salmon belly. Fresh sashimi and food was cooked well. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great to pop in for a quick meal
Love this place and have been many times. Started with delicious miso soup and the good kept coming.
Highly recommend Momoco Sushi, we had the all you can eat deal which was a feast and amazing to say the least.
First time trying this venue. The decor was enjoyable, but the table and cups were sticky. Not a deal breaker, as I have found that many great Japanese restaurants seem to have this same problem. Was excited for the assorted sushi and sashimi boat, but upon ordering, was advised that there was not enough sushi to complete this order. The time was 6: 30pm so this was a bit disappointing. Our table service was very apologetic however, and offered to make us what they could for the sashimi. Instead I ordered the miso soup, the sukiyaki Udon, and whatever sashimi we could get. The order in which the food was delivered to the table was odd, with the Udon arriving first, followed by entrees of sashimi, and the miso soup last. The Udon looked extremely unappetizing, and not at all like the image in the menu. Rather than a traditional boiled egg, the egg was stirred into the soup, giving it a slimy white coating over the top. Not willing to knock it until I tried it, I ate as much as I could, however the taste was little better than the presentation and I found I could only finish half of my bowl. The sashimi also didn't taste fresh, though it was presented nicely. Though my entire party remained polite, the table service continued to apologise for the service, and offered us a free sashimi platter and took off the price for the miso soup and some drinks for my party member. This was very kind, and we were thankful. Unfortunately however, it was not an overall pleasant experience and we will most likely not be returning as the food was expensive, unappetizing, and unsavoury.
Beautiful Japanese eatery with kind and friendly staff! Can’t recommend enough if you are in Heidelberg
Love this place. The food is delicious, the place is so cozy and cute, the service is wonderful. I'm definitely looking to come back and work my way through the menu here.
Always a great experience love the chicken katsu curry don and all the Japanese pop culture memorabilia you can pick up!
Definitely will keep coming back to this little gem!
Had the $45/pp all you can eat. Great value for money, good selection of food. Quality of food is worth it for all you can eat and the price. Staff were very polite and attentive, although they slowed us down in our orders towards the end as we had a few big eaters at the table and missed 1 or 2 dishes, but overall staff had impeccable manners. Definitely recommend the sashimi plate.
Food is passable, slightly less in quantity and taste than before. Food can be a little slow when busy although there were multiple staff in the kitchen, full house but only one waitress who looked like she has to be in two places at once.
Friendly staff, food was as good as I remember Japan and the portions were worth the price, would recommend the Bento boxes
They make tremendous sushi here, which the nigiri combo is amazine, recommend that to everyone !
We are so amazed by this place, food was fantastic, we couldn't stop complementing at all food on the table, very busy, but service was so good, Excellent experience, not just the amazing food, but also learnt so much about Japanese food culture, 100stars, highly recommend
Used to come here often in high school. Came back today for old times sake, and though the decor of this place is much more beautiful, the food and staff (service) just aren’t as great as before. The insides of my takoyaki was still cold. A bit disappointed, probably won’t come back.
Fresh, tasty and reasonable price. Happy to find bubble tea here, it’s a good match for Japanese dishes.
I had my delicious ramen with a lot options for customize like noodle type, topping, etc. Soup tastes great! Very recommended.
Momoco is great, nice atmosphere and warm. Friendly staffs and variety of choice of sushi and food. Love to go back and try everything.
If you love Japanese cuisine, momoco is the best for you. They have delicious food and excellent chef. The service is friendly and the wait time for food is pretty good even during the busy period.
Absolute rip off. Charged me $31.60 for takeaway for 8 sushi salmon pieces, 2 avocado hand rolls and a mogu juice drink. No way their own pricing doesnt add up to this. Do not recommend.
