Momoco Sushi reviews
38Food was delicious, but some of our orders were forgotten and the server for our table came off as unfriendly and rushed us.
I’ve been here multiple times for dinner. The Sashimi always good. Specially the king Fish and Grilled sauce salmon.prawn tempura was ok. Guy was too dry. Nasu (eggplant). Teriyaki beef sauce too sweet.beef tataki.green tea and black sesame ice cream were good.
A little bit more expensive than Okami and those kinds of Japanese AYCE, Momoco however allows you to order sashimi by itself without a huge mixed platter of sushi rice. There are also other really cool inclusions like Kaki Fry. The beef tataki and yakitori skewers were also very good. We will be back for sure!
Plz pick up ur phon. I called y before we drive to there, but no one pick it up. We arrived before 8pm, but not serve the customers anymore, even the map show u gonna open till 9pm. Change it or waste our time.
Very fresh sashimi. All you can eat deal really value for money and lots of varieties to choose from.
Great value! 54$ per person with unlimited sashimi️
There are many meal options too! Hand-rolled nigiri sushi and cooked food are all available
You won't be disappointed if you come here for dinner
Everyone was very satisfied with their dining experience
Would prefer not eating here. Went once, ordered a number of food, most didn't arrive. No service at all, someone took the order and occasionally brought some food. We were there for an hour and left hungry.
Food was OK, but got a nasty shock when I bit into the gyoza in the seafood bento and found they were full of meat!
Went to Momoco sushi with friends for the buffet, fresh fish and good portions. Would recommend as it was value for money
Had a dinner there celebrating friend's birthday last night. It was one of the best experience I had in Melbourne not just the freshest sashimi (especially that limited best part of tuna -Toro!), they also provide the best service - flexible, quick and accurate. All the staffs are so nice and helpful. Even some reviews said they don't have much smile I think it's just they are all focusing on there actual work. The restaurant is pretty spacious and not hard to find a parking around. I'll definitely go back with such good quality, big variety of food, good vibe and good service!
Bad experience, serves rotten food, waitress with attitude. It a buffet restaurant that takes forever for the food to serve. 100% not recommend
Best Japanese all you can eat restaurant in Melbourne that is defo worth the price! Super fresh thick cut sashimi, tempura, sushi rolls, beef tataki, teriyaki main dishes… Almost everything you can think of at a Japanese restaurant. Staffs were friendly, food were delivered quickly.
Delicious Japanese buffet! Highly recommend ordering their sashimi and nigiri! The tuna belly is a must
An incredibly economic place for Japanese buffet.it’s only 48.8/pp with all you can eat ala carte menu.
I really like their sashimi which is fresh and delicious. Sushi and tempura are also great. Udon is my fav main dish. While we ordered twice and almost finished everything.
Highly recommend to everyone who haven’t tried an ala carte buffet.
Ok, looks the part but nothing that invokes imagination. I ordered the sushi don and there was more rice for my liking and a bit light on the sashimi as the photo shows. Presentation was lacking. My colleagues had the bento box and they did look a little better value for money.
Last Friday we had a great time visiting Momoco Sushi in Hawthorn for dinner.
They have a Japanese all-you-can-eat with unlimited orders available only at dinner time from Monday to Sunday
We tried a bit of everything on their menu: entrées, main dishes, nigiri/aburi sushi, sashimi, salad, maki, temaki, soup, tempura, grilled skewers, rice, noodles and dessert
We also ordered a bottle of sake to share and it went really well with all their delicious dishes
Definitely recommend this restaurant for when you are craving some traditional Japanese food?
Featuring:
Japanese all-you-can-eat $49.90
Ippin Junmai Sake 300ml $22
I ordered the Bento C through DoorDash. I can honestly say it’s the worst bento box I’ve ever had and I’ve had lots. The so called tempura vegetables smelt and tasted of rancid fat. They were sitting on top of a small salad which would have been okay if the fat hadn’t soaked through. There were too soggy, fatty spring rolls, a couple of soy sauce soaked gyoza, three pieces of salmon sashimi and a tiny piece of sauce soaked teriyaki salmon next to cold white rice. The whole thing was unappetising to say the least.
Momoco Sushi would do better to concentrate on quality rather than quantity.
Good food, slightly on the pricy side. One of the wait staff was quite rude, though it may have been frustration at misunderstanding me since it seemed they did not speak English as a first language. Other staff were pleasant though.
Nice ambiance. Spacious inside and the staffs are helpful and attentive. They have a fast take away service.
Taste is really good! But the old lady staff a bit aggressive for example, my boyfriend ask for drink menu because he want to know the price and choose before grab it but she answer us with aggressive (nearly shout) voice and give us a different answer (may be because miss understanding or something). He order Raman and when she serve she just put fork on the dirty table not on tissue or any plate so he have to use chopstick in the end. So I recommend to come for take away order because food it's nice but don't want to come back for aggressive service anymore. Toro salmon is the best
