Clean location
Very friendly staff member
Was great once the conciliation started

Only downside there was only one person working at the office felt very dead and abandoned

I had the most amazing experience here with the MoleMap team. The lovely melanographer made me feel so comfortable during my Full Body MoleMap, and I learnt a lot about what signs to look for during my tri-monthly self skin-checks at home. It's so important to get your skin checked regularly, and I'm glad to have found such an accessible service!

Loved my experience here! They made me feel so comfortable and at ease. They also did a very thorough job of checking over every area of skin when completing my molemap. Thank you!

The experience itself was fine - the melanographer was very professional, courteous and thorough. The issue I have with MoleMap is the service concept itself. I had a body scan at MoleMap and paid $249. One mole was considered to require immediate action and I was recommended to consult a dermatologist.

I made an appointment with my GP in order to be referred to a dermatologist. I met with the dermatologist and they concluded that the 'suspect' mole was in fact totally normal and of no concern. The dermatologist also conducted a full body scan and took several photos. The dermatologist appointment was $285 of which I will receive a $78 rebate from Medicare.

So my issue is this - what is the point of MoleMap? If something is suspect and requires a biopsy, you require a consultation with a dermatoloigist, who you might as well meet with in the first place, and the cost is going to be less than the MoleMap service. A dermatologist will also conduct a full body scan and keep records for future reference.

My advice would be to avoid MoleMap. Meet with your GP first who can then refer you to a dermatologist.

They failed to notify me of a potential dangerous mole until i was on another check 16 months later. 'oh you never had this one removed? '

I continued with their service and this time was charged $355 for a skin check and 'mole comparison, ' which i thought I'd be getting head to toe shots of the body. Nope! Turns out it was no different to a standard $149 skin check but i'm getting stung $355 for 30 minutes.

As a high risk case I feel i have nowhere else to go.

Just rang up to book my next appointment but cancelled immediately. Seriously you aren't checking under peoples masks? What do you think is going to happen? Im more interested in getting my face checked than my feet. I'm not paying $350 for a half a job. This hysteria has gone too far.

Who would have thought getting almost naked in front of a stranger would feel so comfortable! Extremely professional and talked me through the process the whole way. For those who may be discouraged by having a Registered Nurse take the photos, I think you may be de-valuing the profession. Registered nurses go through pretty vigorous degrees to get where they are and that degree gives extremely strong foundations for specialisation in areas like dermatology. My only feedback would be that I wish mole map had someone who did the excision and biopsy of the moles instead of recommending to see someone else, as I was so impressed with the service I did not want to go anywhere else.

I can’t believe how kind and professional the staff were during this very thorough assessment of my skin. I also was happy to discover that they sent the exam to me and that it included answers to specific question I had asked during the exam. Would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience at Molemaps by Dermatologists. They made me feel very comfortable and we're very thorough. They also took into account any spots or moles that I was concerned about even if they didn't look sinister. I'll definitely be going back to get my skin checked!

Great experience. Team of good professionals that deliver a comprehensive service. The result for me was a recommendation to remove two moles that may have saved my life!

Overpriced. It is advertised as being staffed by dermatologists which definitely infers a specialist. And at $219 for 30 minutes is what you are charged for. A perfectly nice woman who said she was an Registered Nurse did the inspection.
She will send photos of those items which she thought were 'uneven in apoearance' to a dermatologist who for all I know is another Registered Nurse.
I would not recommend this company it is a very important precautionary check which I have no faith in.

I went for a skin check for $249. Pam was absolutely lovely but I don't think this service is worth the money unless the dermatologist takes images for further diagnosis. The check took approx. 5 minutes. Pam used magnifying glass and spent about a second on each mole. She then educated me with very basic info - nothing you wouldn't be bale to find online. Your GP would most likely provide the same check for much less.
