Module Repair Service reviews
20 Ben at Module Repair was nothing but efficient and professional.
They're great work saved me thousands of dollars.
Great business.
Our 20 year old evap cooling remote was non-responsive. Took it to Module Repair, and it's come back as good as new. Many thanks.
Steve and the team do an invaluable job repairing electronics. Big shout out to Ben. His knowledge and helpfulness are above and beyond. Much thanks. DREAMTEK.
Steve and the team at module repair do an outstanding job, I have been using them for more than 15 years. Special thanks to Ben, who is always very knowledgeable and helpful with error codes and other programming problems. Thanks for doing what you do.
Professional business, went out of their way to help find a replacement for an unrepairable pc board for my LG air conditioner, this part was no longer available through LG. Ben who was helping me with the issue fortunately found a replacement unit through a service agent. Would highly recommend this business.
Thank you Ben for your help.
Regards,
John.
Great place if your sick and tired of getting the run around from manufacturers that simply tell you to buy a whole new appliance when something simple is manfunctioning. Get this mob to have a look at it first! Cheers guys for a vital service you provide
My 10 year old 9 Kw Fujitsu Split Air Conditioner stopped cooling (outdoor unit died) The team at module repair worked their magic on the main control board. Cost $280 & took about two weeks to repair my old circuit board (a couple of components on the board were burnt) - however much better than spending $3K on a new Air con.
Air con now working like a charm.
Thankyou guys so very much.
Cheers - Mat.
Awesome to deal with, price was great for a pcb rework and ac unit is operating perfectly. Was recommended to them by a friend how swear by their workmanship and now I do too! A+ from me!
When replacement air conditioner circuit boards have been superseded and no longer available, module repair can repair damaged circuit board component's
Great work, great service and above all really helpful. I recommend them to everyone that needs that modules.
Took a dodgy gas heater remote control in for repair.
It was fixed and ready for pickup after 3 days.
The cost of fixing was about 60% of a new remote
Happy camper.
Fantastic Service from the first e-mail to the circuit board being fixed and sent via post as i am located in WA First Class Service
Melbourne is definitely very fortunate to be able to have access to such a service. Professionally handled from beginning to being returned as functioning product.
A HUGE thank you to Ben, John and the team at module repair. A Balboa G2000 spa module, reco to perfection. The staff were very helpful, very tollerant (as i had a lot of questions) I decided to pay extra for the "express service" (NO pressure, my choice) and module was literally done the same day! Great team to deal with. Many thanks
My Vulcan / Bonaire wall control spat it and I was told either $2500 for a retro kit to fix it or $4900 for a new heater and control. Ben from MODULE REPAIRS sent me a replacement control for less than $550 that works perfectly! Well done team and thanks so much.
Great service and reasonably priced.
I have taken in a few different pcb's to Module Repair and would recommend you use their service.
Steve Taun and the team are great - know their stuff, do great work and also go the extra mile when somebody is in need. Keep up the great work and we recommend you in a heartbeat.
Great service, but pricey
I've had several modules/parts replaced there, always been done within 1.5 weeks and always repaired successfully.
What is disappointing however is the pricing. It doesn't seem related to the difficulty/complexity of repair or the time it would take to do so.
Their pricing seems to always be 2/3rd of a new part replacement.
Easy to verify, enter the part number to be repaired on their website and ask for quote. Within a minute you get a fixed quote, always around 2/3rd of new.
So their service are good if the parts are hard to source, otherwise you're often better off buying new, less chances for things to go wrong later.
Didn't use them this time but they saved me thousands on an air conditioning repair in the past
