Mock Red Hill

Best cider in Victoria! Possibly Australia. The food is limited but very good quality. Perfect for a light lunch. I can recommend the mulled cider on these cold winter days.

If you love apple cider then this is a great place as they have a variety to choose from, as well as non-alcoholic sparkling and flat juices. We tried a dry, semi-sweet and sweet cider and cloudy (looked clear to us!) juice which were all very good. The cider didn't go too well with blue cheese (but on its own the cheese with figs and lavosh was great) so I'd recommend ordering food that is a bit milder. The freeze dried apple, pear and strawberry were great and we bought a couple of packets.

Staff very rude, menu inadequate and over priced, left without eating when tge waitres told us to sort it ourselves when she got stroppy after she told us duck was pescatarian and we pointed out that was not accurate.

A lovely, light filled location which offers tasty tasting paddles (both alcoholic and alcohol-free).

Absolutely amazing flavours! Stumbled upon this looking for somewhere to eat lunch. A light cider tasting paddle and some incredible tapas later and we are well satisfied. The freshness and flavour of the bruschetta and the pork sausage rolls made for such a divine experience for our palettes. We topped it off with a great blue cheese and fig platter and apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream that was the perfect end to a spectacularly delicious lunch. I cannot recommend Mock Red Hill highly enough.

Oh, and by the way, they do great ciders too. And the team there are wonderfully warm and friendly.

Delicious range of apple or pear ciders, juices, cocktails and mocktails. Also don’t forget to treat yourself to a yummy Johnny Ripe apple pie while you’re there!

Great place worth the visit. Nice decor and very friendly staff.
Tasty ciders and great tapas style food (that's all they serve)

They don't take bookings and there isn't a lot of seating so first in first serve.

Only reason for not 5 stars is it gets very pricey quickly each tapas plate is about 13$ and you need minimum 2 per person as they can be somewhat small serves.

Loved the drinks! Especially the sparkling apple juice - taste like apples. The food was delicious too. I liked the tapas style food.

Its ok.bit over priced but the staff are good. I've visited a few places in Red Hill.non have impressed me so far.were European our idea of a good meal includes portion size.most places charge a lot of money for average quality food. Best thing to do is pack your own food and visit one of Red Hills Parks with a good view bottle of wine and good company.or if your after a snak and want to sit in a barn with your friend and be waited on.visit this place or any other rustic dime a dozen establishments. In short its ok.over priced nothing amazing. I give it a 3.here in Australia businesses are getting a bit arrogant in pricing and thinking their food or service is something amazing when it's average.time to ask for a bit more bang for your buck people.

Popped in and bought some lovely fresh apples as well as few sparkling apple drinks (and ciders). Really friendly staff member which suggested a few things to try as I was not sure of what I wanted. The apples were so fresh and tasted amazing. I will be recommending this lovely place to all my friends. Keep up the good work guys in these challenging times! Will visit again for sure.

Excellent selection, great customer service.

We arrived at the Mock Red Hill after very unpleasant customer experience in the adjacent Main Ridge Dairy and Johhnny Ripe (both places have no respect or idea about customer service).
The place was packed, though the staff was very proactive and quick to provide a great customer service. The selection of ciders and dishes to share was excellent, and we really enjoyed the experience. We definitely will come back when we are visiting the peninsula next time.

A good place to purchase ciders. Different flavors and the price reasonable. Plus you can enjoy some dessert or ice cream.

Had an awesome day here today. Recommend for anyone to come and enjoy their craft ciders food and hospitality.

Family owned and operated! We really enjoyed the apple and pear ciders! They were very accommodating for those not drinking alcoholic beverages. The freeze dried fruit was also great.

If you like real cider, fantastic! Staff extremely nice and very friendly with our whole family. Loved it.

Great customer service, knowledgable and friendly. Even got offered help to carry a box of 24 ciders to the car. Suggest everyone does a tasting. Super comfy couches and chairs.

Have been here a number of times, love this place and the staff are always brilliant. Definitely a must for anyone visiting the Mornington Peninsula
