Absolute legends with customer service. Visited the store looking for a specific pair of MT Shorts, they didn't have it in stock yet recommended me to a competitor which I wasn't aware of.

That alone speaks highly of their values. Definitely highly recommend this shops and they will have my business for sure when I'm in the area

Outstanding store. Delightful staff. Only qualm - order more hand wraps in. I don’t want marvel wraps and I don’t want Star Wars wraps.

Needed gloves shipped to me in a timely manner.

Called on Friday to confirm whether express shipping will deliver the gloves to me by the following Tuesday. Was assured this would be the case.

It is now Tuesday, and my gloves haven't even been collected by AusPost.

Called again to question what is happening, and was advised that I needed to chase up all the separate branches individually. I wasn't even made aware that my order was coming from separate branches.

The assistant was rude and unhelpful, insinuating that I was foolish to rely on his colleague's assurance.

Seriously the most overrated gloves on the market in my opinion! I have a old hand injury and they hurt my knuckles.
No matter how i wrap my hands they still hurt. I dont hav these problem with other gloves. And there is barely any padding over knuckle erea! I highly dont recommend these gloves if you hav big hands. Or you have hand/Knuckle injury!

Walked in with no welcome hello or anything. Was stared up and down by the man and lady at the counter, headed to the headgear section and was waiting for one of them to come and help me out but all they did was sit and stare at their computer. I asked the man if they have any sizes of one particular head guard and he started to raise his voice and tell me which one do I want then ended up walking off. Got told twice to hurry up my shopping since they wanted to “close up” even though there was more than enough time left and with 0 knowledge on head gear ended up buying a random one for $200! WORST EXPERIENCE WOULD LEAVE A 0 IF I COULD STAFF NEED TO BE REPLACED ASAP!

Very helpful staff, good range and reasonable prices. My last purchase was a mouthguard although expensive due to my huge mouth I was unable to find anything anywhere else. So happy to pay a little more for something that fits. A testament too their range.

A lot of gear to get you sorted out in your chosen discipline and the staff were great. Would like to have seen more variety of Muay Thai shorts though.

Have bought plenty of stuff off these guys online, stuff always comes as quickly as you can reasonably expect. Massive plus having a wide range of Hayabusa gear

Absolutely terrific range of products but sadly had a very disappointing experience in terms of service. I came in to buy a pair of gloves, a staff member approached me as I was reading tags on a couple of pairs - he did not ask if I needed help, but held out a glove for me to try on and asked if I wanted to try it. I said no thanks but actually could use some help, was cut off mid-sentence as he started explaining it depends what I need the gloves for and proceeded to tell me all about what I needed. I interjected in an attempt to prevent a redundant runaway conversation and said that’s actually not what I need help with, I’m just hoping to narrow down the list, can you tell me which are synthetic as opposed to leather. One pair mentioned were actually leather, which I corrected after having already read the brand’s tag/description. He continued to advise me on the “best” gloves, again without asking what I was looking for or what sort of training I’d be doing. At no point in our interaction did he ask me what I needed, if I knew what I was looking for, if I had experience, what gloves I’ve liked in the past. In fact, the one and only question he asked me was the initial “Do you want to try some gloves on? ” as he held one out for me to put a hand into. Everything he said indicated that he’d assumed I knew absolutely nothing and told me that “a girl who works here and is a pro likes these ones”. Out of curiosity, I asked if 10s are stocked and was TOLD that I would need 12s, because “10s are for fighting”. Well, no, not always. In fact, I’ve only fought in 8s and 4s. Someone working in the MMA Store should surely at least know that MMA is not fought with 10oz gloves? And who’s to say I don’t have 12s at home already? Again, perhaps asking what I needed and what kind of training I do may have been a better way to go about things. But, again, this was also not the help or advice I was in need of, as I’d already expressed. I don’t think I should have to walk in and explain my fighting credentials, which I don’t like to do, how long I’ve been training, how many sets of gloves I’ve used or already own in order to be treated with a bit of respect as a customer. Needless to say, I left without purchasing anything. I’m leaving this very detailed review in hopes that some reflection can be made in terms of customer service. Perhaps try asking what someone needs instead of telling them - learning about needs and wants of a customer and *listening* to them will also help with upselling, especially if they feel like you’ve heard them and engaged with them genuinely. I would have been delighted to have a more balanced and effective conversation with this person. I would also like to suggest that it be considered introspectively whether a male customer might have been approached differently. This is not new treatment in terms of my experience across two decades as a martial artist and as a professional fighter. After seeing a couple of other reviews about great service, I’m optimistic and hopeful that this is not usual in your store, which is otherwise great. Please respectfully consider this feedback and thank you for taking the time to read through this.

Purchased an item online that mistakenly showed was in stock. Refund was processed immediately.

Let me return a new rashguard that was to small. Got bigger size, best quality products and customer service

Spoke to Damien over email to help me choose the right size shoes, he was super prompt and helpful and also got my shoes to sent to me by a courier as he wanted to avoid any delays because I lived so close to the store and they arrived at my door about an hour and a half after ordering them! Seriously good customer service and the best selection of gear in Melb, highly recommend

I shop at the MMA Fight Store for my boxing gear. Rick is super helpful with great advice and gives the best customer service probably anywhere. Very comfortable environment to take your time making decisions and browsing.

Great shop! I bought a couple of things and always very satisfied with the purchase. I even brought back a faulty pair of boxing gloves and they gave me a new one without problems or questions. Highly recommended.
