Great place in the past to shop & buy Indian subcontinent groceries however has been slipping away in last few years in terms of quality & price.
Look carefully the expiry date & year otherwise you might get a surprise at home.
Their take away section has always been great however I am little worried about the health & hygiene inside the kitchen just because they are not infusing any sense if confidence in their efficiency & good work outside in the shop anyways.

Just like so many other restaurant & shop in the past from small to famous everything is good,
However not everyone continues their starting values which made them big in first place.

The quality of the food has deteriorated. Looks like there is a new cook. Most items are very salty. This use to be such a good place for curries and snacks. Disappointed big time …

Great selection of asia groceries. Delicious indian cuisine. Always little busier than many asian grocery shops because of the food. Very polite staff. Highly recommended!

My go-to place for a heavy South Asian lunch. The curries are juicy and tasty and you feel satisfied for the money you pay.

This morning on my bike ride stopped and picked up 3 Dal Vadas and to be served BURNT! LOL only when u open the pack u are surprised! Do u think i will go bak or reco?

You can’t leave this place without buying food which will fill your tummy with delicious smell while you are purchasing your groceries. Big fan of MKS spicy food.

MKS is one of my favourite local spots for snacks, a cheap meal or groceries. There’s almost too many good things there to list. Their hot bar is amazing with several meal deals under $10. I also love their Sri Lankan short eats - particularly their spicy fish pan roll. And if you’re after something sweet, don’t look past their bottled lassis or individual cups of kulfi. Long story short - please go here and get everything.

The best SRI Lankan food place in Melbourne. Excellent tasty food. I will recommend to anyone. Go and enjoy!

Honestly, their food is incredible. Coming from a Sri Lankan, if you want Lankan food from the north side, this is much better and more authentic than Citris in Fitzroy. The koththu is better than in Sri Lanka and a lot of the patties are really well made. The chefs are really great. This is more Tamil versions of favourites but hands down amazing food. The place is always packed for takeaway too.well done guys!

You get beetle leaves, mango leaves, rangoli etc. You get wide variety of Indian items. You even get vadas and biryani which is very tasty.

The food is very tasty.i have been a regular customer. But lately I have few bad experiences with the chilli chicken curry and fried anchovies. The oil used seemed to have a weird smell.

MKS is a very good Indian grocery store with an integrated Indian restaurant. Near to public transport and roadside parking right in front. You can get Indian cookware in addition to grocery. Unlike some other stores, they don't sell religious stuffs. Staffs are friendly and the food here is delicious.
