Misty Pot Melbourne reviews
20 As a local frequenting for just over 6 months, I can easily say this is the BEST Korean restaurant in Melbourne. A must try restaurant that has:
A well rounded menu where everything is incredibly delicious
A nice homely vibe and dishes that feel like a home cooked meal rather than eating out
Incredibly kind owners and staff who are very attentive
The best sesame latte and yuzu lemonade I've ever had (all made in house)
A few favourites:
The chicken katsu set
Not pictured, because I always finish eating it before I remember to take a photo the chicken katsu is nice and crispy, and the sauce is one of my all time favourites, like a more meaty and umami version of Japanese curry sauce.
The kbbq
They only just started offering it, and the meat quality is incredible without leaving that heavy feeling you get after bbq. Each serving is more than enough for one person, the mushrooms in particular are delicious.
The beef soup sets:
Are just the right amount of umami and slightly sweet (depending on which you order), with tender beef and a variety of side dishes.
Great little place with friendly staff, plenty if authentic lunch options (I was on the run, so had a fried chicken wrap) and decent coffee. These sorts of places make Melbourne great
Arrived late after GOOD THINGS 2023! Jin was almost closing! We asked if he was still cooking! Said no problems come in! We stayed for 2 hours drank all his beers and made him cook all night! Didn’t blink an eye! Was polite! Was a beautiful end to a perfect day! Can’t recommend this place enough!
FRIED CHICKEN IS TO DIE FOR! Dumplings are epic as well! 10 stars
Food is really good! Fried chicken rice bowl was delicious and the iced latte/Danish were so nice!
Staff were very friendly and helpful!
10/10
This is the sort of place you would usually walk past without noticing, but one that was well worth going into. Authentic Korean dishes rather than a "brunchy" menu and great service.
We came here on a Friday night for a bite to eat before for a comedy show.
It took 50 minutes for our food to arrive; we ate it in less than 10 minutes.
The food was tasty enough, however, the portion size was tiny and the only banchan was kimchi.
$19 for a beef bulgolgi each and left still starving.
"Where's the beef? "
I would definitely not recommend.
Ordered mushroom Bibimbap (vegan) and chilli bean eggplant (vegan). Both were really good. But I’d pick Mushroom Bibimbap. Really friendly staff.
Amazing home-cook and Korean ambiance.
This restaurant make me feel like I am at home-style restaurant in Korean. And remind me when I visited Korea.
Their food is traditional and authentic. The taste is just right. I don’t know how to explain. You must try it by yourself. I feel the food is passionately prepared and well presented.
I will come back for more.
Great little place. Has market lane coffee *tick* really delicious Korean meals. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Amazing! Lovely Korean food in Melbourne. The meat portions are generous. Their soup meal is a must-try.
Delicious authentic homestyle Korean. Have tired the bibimbap and fried chicken and both were amazing. The staff are all so friendly and create such a cosy and welcoming environment.
Awesome bibimbap and japchae. Really friendly service. The coffee is good but my favourite thing is the yuzu iced tea. So yum and refreshing!
Super friendly staff. It's hard to find that actually welcomes you nowadays.

Food:
We had the bimbimbap and fish pancake and combo chicken. The super spicy chicken was spicy but not too bad. The sweet spicy chicken was not that spicy for my kids. They loved it. Def worth a trip to west melb
Happy they have moved close to us in West Melbourne! Had lunch for first time on Friday and the food was delicious, the ginger yuzu tea was extra special. Will visit again!
Great Korean resto, good price, good food and good range of options. Came here for lunch and really impressed, will come back for me.
Amazing soup dishes! Both take out and dine in experiences have been great! Will keep on coming back
Great cafe! A good variety of delicious dishes presented nicely with quality ingredients & flavours. Friendly service as well. Will be back to try more dishes!
If you can visit this place, you are very lucky. You will be able to experience what you eat at Home as well. Love the variety of menu and everything seems very nice. Especially, donkatsu is huge and soup is very flavoured. Lovely owner and staff will assist you to experience Korean food and you will be able to take away as well. Unfortunately, only Lunch is available but you will love the food there
Good fried chicken, friendly staff. Volcano sauce is hot but nothing crazy. I had the sauce on the side, staff we attentive and saw I was out of sauce and offered more. Pickles were great too.
