Mister Minit Forest Hill reviews
16Was expecting expensive repairs on the zips of my travel bag, he was able to completely fix them quickly on the spot at very little cost. Very impressed!
Rang them desperately for a repair to a Christmas present.
The Gentleman on the phone was polite and professional, urged me to come in and they’d be able to help.
They repaired my gift and I was home within the hour.
Can’t recommend them enough!
I dropped in to Mister Mint Forest Hill Chase recently with an out of the box problem that needed fixing. I'd been referred there by the alterations business next door, who'd told me "the Mister Mint guy is pretty handy". Anyway, upon presenting my issue to MM, he studied it, thought for a minute, then said, "I reckon I can do something here". When I came back the next day, the product I'd left to be fixed actually worked better than before. I found MMFHC to be switched on and forward thinking. I have no hesitation in leaving this review, for a job very well done. Thanks!
Mister mint are friendly and professional, used them many times and never had any problems. Key fobs for cars
Asked for a small bag for our $17 purchase, the staff argued for some unknown reason we hadn't given them a bag. No, that's correct, but can we just have a bag to take it away with? Old mate turned around and walked off. Such a shame because Box hill maste rmint is great.
Cut 2 keys for me tonight, took him less than a minute and the keys work great, definitely recommend them you need any keys cut
Recommend avoid this place, and all Mister Minits, prices are a massive rip off. Was shamelessly overcharged today for two replacement batteries for a garage remote. After paying $35 for two coin 3v lithium batteries, I checked prices next door at Woolworths who were selling 2 packs for $6 each. I returned to the shop and was showed what was apparently an official price list with $22 per "lithium battery" - no code or other product information detailed. Was then told I was actually given a discount, off a 2019 price list, so basically the price I was shown was irrelevant anyway. The guy said he could pay back $5, which would still make it $15 per battery compared to $3 literally next door. Was told this price difference reflects that Woollies can buy them cheaper! (Note to Mr Minit: if this is true, ditch your current battery supplier and buy from Woolworths.) I blame myself for paying so much in the first place but that they are practising such blatant gouging is a concern. I also fear for what other customers are being charged across all other products and services. Otherwise the guy at the store seemed OK - pity he was unable/ unwilling to resolve with me directly.
Okay service, they were able to replace the battery in my watch and pressure test in about 20 minutes. But now one of the hands in the chronometer doesn't line up properly. Do I take it back? Not sure I want the place that made the mistake to be in charge of the watch to fix it. Also bought a NATO strap, and after 3 days of wear the main hole I use has widened enough to fit loosely. If I take it back we will see how the customer service is then
Friendly service. Went above beyond to help us reset two G Shock watches from daylight savings time. Going back today to buy a battery for my watch.
A really great community spirited shop. Several times I have had little jobs done for me at no cost even when I insisted on paying. For bigger items the prices are very good. Done promptly & to a high standard. I won't go anywhere else.
Xlnt quick service. Opened a watch another place could not, and changed the battery. And 2 yr guarantee.

Friendly staff but what an absolute rip off. Had 5 knives engraved 6 months ago with my 2 letter initials on each. Cost me under $20 for about 10 minutes work. All good!
This time I was quoted $12.95 per knife. That's about $65 for 10 minutes work. Around $400 per hour. Really?
When I said this was way too expensive & much more than I paid last time I was offered the "discounted" rate of $8.95 per knife. Still around $45 or $270 per hour. I said a surgeon doesn't earn that sort of money so I wasn't prepared to pay that much. I was told this was my choice. So I drove 10 minutes to a different engravers who charged me $15 for the 5 knives. This still equates to about $90 per hour which is a pretty healthy wage for an easy engraving job. I was very pleased with this & the guy did an excellent job.
I guess the moral of the story is be reasonable. Try charging a fair price for the services you provide. I don't appreciate being ripped off. You have lost my custom Mister Minit for this job & any future jobs I need done. I would rather go somewhere where they take a moment to assess the job & charge accordingly. A little common sense please.
Got a few spare room keys cut here.
Quick service. I guess that's why they call them mister minute!
Both the keys work perfectly.
Terrible customer service. Trying to rip me off. Took my clock to be repaired and after not being able to fix theory wouldn't give me my money back. The cheek! How dare you! And he was the owner. Worse part is that he broke the clock back again so he could give me my money back. Unbelievable.
