MPAN is a much needed resource for families of missing people. Having experienced this for myself I know the lack of support families have in a time they need it most. Loren O'Keeffe is filling huge gaps to support, inform and advocate for these families when they need it most. This network also connects families going through similar experiences. I cannot thank you enough for all you do for such an important cause. Keep up the amazing work!

The power of lived experience is incredible! I walked away from meeting Loren O’keefe absolutely beaming.

From the age of 13, being the girl with a missing mum was a traumatic and isolating experience. I was ashamed and would hide my mum’s missing person status from as many people as I could. Now, being 24, I understand the importance of raising awareness on the issues facing loved ones of missing persons and advocating for my mum. I have also met some amazing and inspiring people along the way.

Thank you for paving the way Loren. @mpanaus is genuinely a one-of-a-kind organisation changing the way Australians are impacted by missingness.

MPAN was an absolutely vital resource during a search for missing person in our community. Their guidance was supportive, pragmatic, and heartfelt during a very stressful and uncertain time. In a broader sense Loren has worked selflessly and tenaciously for many, many years to put a spotlight on the missing persons space, to humanise those missing, and to advocate for families who are grieving and lost in an unsatisfactory system. I'm eternally grateful for the remarkable work they do.

I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Loren from MPAN recently and to say this is a network of brave, resilient individuals is a gross understatement. The insight I've gained into what ambiguous loss does to individuals and families has been an equally challenging and enlightening journey and I have the upmost respect for everyone who has had to or continues to suffer through such tragedy. Loren is such a kind, friendly bundle of joy and the work she does with the community is absolutely invaluable.

MPAN assists families and friends going through the anguish of dealing with a missing loved one. Through her experiences, Loren recognised the lack of support and initiative behind this worthy cause, that affects half a million Australians a year.
If you’ve ever dealt with MPAN, you will feel the genuine care that is their backbone. This care and attention to detail also shines through their campaigns, which raise awareness for the issue of missing persons. They combine unique ideas with the plethora of resources and technology available to us in the digital age, with the goal of making lives easier and educating people.
I consider Loren and MPAN family for everything they have done for my family as well as other families of missing persons. Let’s get behind them and celebrate the hard work and fantastic things they are doing.

MPAN works tirelessly to support families experiencing ambiguous loss. As the only charity of its kind in Australia, MPAN's efforts have gone a long way to raise national awareness of this important issue
