Miss Pickle reviews
32 Souva was good chicken was a bit dry.
Other than that it was good.
They didn't have traditional garlic sauce
Amazing food and Mediterranean atmosphere special thanks to Sofia for her warm and charming manner
The chicken and lamb were both cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The dips were also quite nice, although they were a bit salty for my taste. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Greek cuisine.
Everything was amazing! I would definitely visit again, everyone was lovely and the food was significant!
Food took around 35 minutes to come. Restaurant was about 1/4 full. All wait staffs has very little about the food that was entitled for the bottomless lunch.
Frist time trying from the Ms. Pickle franchise.and I got really sick and bad case of food poisoning the same night after eating here (5th October 2023). Ordered the mixed open souvlaki. I unfortunately decided to try something a little different other than chips and chose the lemon potatoes.these tasted off or likely got me sick as my friends who got chips were fine.
Food: Portion of meat and tzatziki sauce was small, plated with lots of slaw/veggies ("super salad") but this was just plain and dry without any dressing. Lemon potatos tasted like it was sour and had an off taste. Meat was underseasoned and not hot fresh, disappointing seeing and being able to smell the charcoal spit right there and from outside. Meat was also chopped up to crumby little pieces which was also annoying to eat.
Atmosphere/service:
Music playing over was also really loud.
The staff was ok, but the food was very disappointing.
We also had a jug of lemon lime bitters which came out first, but no table water was served. I think water should be provided to all tables shortly after seating without needing to ask for it.
Lots of improvements needed at this restaurant.
I have come here several times and the service and food is always amazing! Celebrated my mums bday and all the girls on tonight were absolutely amazing and the service was outstanding! The food is 10/10 and I will always keep coming back!
I wish i could give this place a zero. The meatballs were completely undercooked after politely asking, and telling the waitress that it was under cooked, and can it please be cooked more, she comes back to me and says this is how they’re meant to be. They are apparently cooked. When in reality they were completely raw I had to pay $28 for something that is going to get me sick. I know for sure that is not how these traditional meatballs are meant to be cooked as I am Greek and none of the workers working are Greek.
One of the most disgusting meals in the world. The meatball is hard like stone. Please do not run a restaurant if you cannot ensure the minimum quality of food.
During a period of inflation and staffing shortages, our businesses are facing challenges in attracting customers. Therefore, I think a business should aim to provide the best possible service to our customers.
However, when I visited the restaurant during lunchtime, it was noticeably quiet. Upon observing the meat on the spit, I suspected that the lamb may have been overcooked and tough.from experience, but that is understandable as that's what happens when you cook lamb. When I requested that the restaurant grill the lamb well done for my children so they would eat it, the answer was a straightforward "no, we can't do that. "
I did look at the grill prior to entering to make sure that it was operating.
Beautiful of luck with this franchise.
Miss pickle is always my favourite place for lunch and dinner.good service I highly recommend open plate souvlaki and kebabs fresh and delicious full of flavours. Bust as always.
First time bad experience not the $125 I payed for the platter but the hard meat and burnt food don't want to say anything more just bad
Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5.
Very accommodating staff, great food. Recommend the Mixed Grill for two.
Dropping in for a quick souvlaki wrap lunch, we ordered the mixed grill and chicken souvlaki wraps.
Both were served with fries
The wraps were tasty, well prepared and sufficient.
The accompanying chips were crispy and seasoned well. Most enjoyable.
The service was friendly enough.
A popular place, as it should be.
Strawberry mojito Mocksville was delicious. We shared a mixed grill souvlaki and it was excellent!
Miss Pickle 1971 is a Mediterranean restaurant chain located in The Glen Shopping Centre as well as Knox City, Casey Central and Point Cook.
Cute decor, but unfortunately the food was average and the service was poor. Definitely not the best Mediterranean food experience in Melbourne.
Dishes presented:
Dolmathes
Mixed Gyros
Lamb Gyros
Dolmathes - rolled vines leaves stuffed with rice. Well seasoned, the addition of yoghurt to the plate complimented the dolmathes but they were a little bit dry.
The open souvlaki had a small amount of meat compared to how much carbs and salad there were. The meat tasted good but not enough of it, the salad lacked seasoning and the roasted potato wedges were ok but they didn’t really belong to the souvlaki plate. Unfortunately, it was a miss for us.

Great place to catch up! The happy hour mocktails were very refreshing. Mezze platter is perfect if you want to sample a few different dishes.
Pretty average food which was served at luke warm temperature. Service was a bit off. Waitress just had zero attentiveness and care.
Food was quite poor, ordered saganaki and a souvlaki, first the cheese must have been sitting on the counter for a while because when it arrived at our table after the souvlaki it was pretty much rubber, worst saganaki i have ever eaten. And then the souvlaki we received were different to what we ordered, think the cook does not care?
Nice Greek restaurant in the coolest food court in the East, but the food was not as tasty or generous as what you we typically enjoy in Lonsdale St or the Oakleigh strip.
