Excellent soup and dumplings everytime, excellent customer service and a local favourite:)

Haven’t even eaten it yet and it’s a 1 star review - can’t deliver Uber eats with chopsticks - embarrassing level of incompetence means I hold no high hopes for the food.

I get this once a week best spicy Asian soup going around.

BRING back the old noodles though!

Miss China is a Chinese takeaway store located within The Clarendon Centre in South Melbourne.

The star here is definitely their handmade dumplings, which were my favourite. The Chilli Wontons and Siu Mai and were unbelievably tasty, the chilli oil was a little watery. Also who can resist a crispy South Melbourne Dim Sim? Not Me.

The Soup Bombs are essentially noodle soups, except served dry with the soup on the side. Because of the takeaway concept, this is to ensure you can reheat your soup if it gets cold en route! The broth was nice, would’ve loved more depth and I really did not enjoy the chicken, I would opt for the BBQ Pork next time.

The Miss China Fried Rice was great however unsure if $17 is a bit pricey. The Duck Spring Rolls had a nice flavour however only a small amount of minced duck and mostly vermicelli. The pastry was delicate and thin and they were generous in size.

Miss China is good for something quick and easy if you’re around or even working in the area.

I tried their noodles recently and wow, so flavoursome. Dumplings were a 10/10. Will definitely be back!

Warm and comfort food in a pretty accessible area. Love that you can choose your own toppings and noodle type and broth as well. It’s good that they don’t limit what you can get in the diy bowl. We took all the meat toppings and the price is still $16.50, very reasonable specially in this area. The take away cup is also good as the portion is big, you can easily pack and bring home if you can’t finish it.

Staff is lovely. I had “Bro knows” the beef and chicken are yummy and the broth is good too. However overall dish is really bland.

Got the miss China special. Broth did not really have flavour hit i was expecting although I was happy it was served boiling hot. Honestly reminded me a bit of the soup in 2 minute noodles. The BBQ pork also lacked flavour. The texture of the noodles and the prawn wontons were so good though. Would come back maybe just for dumplings

Chilli dumplings nice and the China bowl with chicken dumplings very nice. The small pictured pork dumpling on there own very average as they were full of water when you pierce them.

Miss China is Clarendon Street's Secret, serving a variety of deliciously made food, Soups, dumplings, Silky Smooth and oh so tasty Wontons (that really are to die for), Spring Rolls etc, etc, etc.
Definitely a must for lovers of great food.
Service is friendly and fast.
The Stablishment is Spot on clean and welcoming.

This place is criminally underrated.
The food is absolutely amazing. I've gone there 2 days in a row because of how good the soup bomb was. Definitely needs more attention.

The dumplings were great, I've tried the chicken dumplings and the vegetables dumplings, also had a soup, didn't like the soup much but it was the typical Asian style, the noodles had a bit of crisp (I prefer softer), but dumplings were just awesome.

Beautiful and sustainable packing, minimal plastic which is worth mentioning.

The soup bomb was very flavourful & yum. Ingredients were fresh and adequately portioned. Loved how we can select every aspect of it similar to a hotpot. Also the wonton was amazing, I’m glad I chose that as one of the additions

Walk in and see some greenery on the walls and their handmade dumplings.

The sui mai has the most softest meat

Chicken spare ribs had the most crisp skin with a salty and spicy seasoning

Their main dish is the Choose your own soup bomb - choose 5 toppings, soup spice level and your choice of noodle type. The no spice broth is light yet flavoursome - when infused with the toppings, the soup becomes more rich. The mild soup looked spicy due to it's colour but was tolerable and added a kick to the noodles.

I wish the soup base was a bit more flavoured but the overall taste was good

First time stop at this little shop. Each time I passed by, I was attracted by the way they display the dumplings. The soup bomb is way above expectation. I am definitely coming back soon.

I've been coming here constantly since Miss China opened. Delicious food and friendly staff everytime. I had their Dry Noodle Special this time and it was incredible. Rich and flavourful sauce and a great portion size. Highly recommended!

A nice and warm place for a quick take away working lunch. Friendly staff and delicious noodle soup with a good selection of dumplings. Highly recommended deserves a try.

Tasty and fresh dumplings. There are some ready (hot) ones in the cabinet if you want a quick snack, and they are delicious!

I love their soup bomb where you can get a variety of ingredients to choose from. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Perfect option for lunch at work.
