Minh Ky 1 Chinese & Vietnamese Restaurant

Had a great lunch with family today. Food was excellent. Workers are friendly and always showing good service. Very accommodating. Our favourite dish are the roasts! Will definitely be back for more!

Had takeaway for dinner tonight, we ordered 3 roasts (duck, pork and crispy pork) as well as honey chicken.
The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is fresh and tasty. They even gave us a free bag of prawn crackers!
I love the window where you can watch the meats being chopped up.
Only negative is that I never know what days and times they are open

In my opinion this is the gold standard place currently to get roast meats in all of melbourne. Always get the roast pork where it is always juicy, packed with flavour with perfectly crisp skin. I particularly like how they will often cut off excess fat and unediable side bits leaving you with the perfect peices just for eating. Other places you may up end up with 10-20% of the pieces unediable.

Was a regular until now. Ordered takeaway before closing time, had one guy getting impatient with me, with broken english & in a rush to close. Fun.
Oh, & is chicken supposed to look this pink inside? It smelt like feet we had to throw the whole thing out! Time to go elsewhere, disappointing af!

Have been a regular of this place for years that the staff know our order and I havent left a review yet. The food and value for money is just perfect, every time we dine we leave super satisfied and happy.

Let me just say its extremely had to find good crispy noodels these day's, and since the best best crisp noodle joint 'Hop Ky' in Springvale closed some years ago, it's left quite a void in my life.
Well the void has been filled now! Minh Ky offers excellent crispy noodles, with plenty of combinations and sauces on offer, and a very generous server to match the reasonable prices. This is a great little Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in the Springvale Sth Shopping centre which is also renowned for its roasted meats. Definitely a favourite amongst the locals and well worth a short commute.

Be a customer here since 2017 but today is very disappointing. Take away crispy and bbq pork but the taste of crispy pork seem like already spoiled and so smelly. So decided to throw the crispy pork and only eat bbq pork.

Bloody delicious! I'm vegan and I've tried most dishes but change them to vegan. Friendly. Parking is abit hard.we go weekly?

Very disappointing food. Ordered takeaway chicken congee, salt & pepper chicken ribs with red rice & sweet & sour pork with steamed rice. Food came with nothing extra, no chili or small extra sauces as other restaurants in Springvale do. Congee was okay, have had better. Really needed ginger & a slice of lemon. Chicken ribs were not good, the batter instead of being crispy & light was thick and spongy with an uncooked flour taste. Red rice tasted like it was burnt & days old, almost inedible. Sweet & sour pork was like the Congee, okay have had better.

Been here a couple of times with family, great food, good size portions and very reasonable price and being able to byo wine and beer a plus. Will come again.

Good food at reasonable prices great selection. Can BYO Beer & wine. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this place and will be back.

Small local restaurant but the food is just absolutely delicious. Have been a customer for more than 15yrs and still one of my favourite restaurants.

The best Asian food ever! Crispy pork is the best! Fried rice is on point and the soy chicken is my fav! Everything here is delicious!

You would think after a renovation, their EFT machine would be working. I had to go get cash from 7 11. In a lockdown you would think they would avoid cash and me having to go extra places get cash. This would put a lot of people off. This is exactly what causes people not to come back!

I've been here a couple of times. Its always good and busy. The duck, crispy pork, the whole fried barramundi is a must, beef and black bean the best I've even had, seriously yum.

Restaurant is clean, and BYO wine, can't go wrong here. Always have a bit of difficulty ordering, but always get there in the end.

I'm came there around 9 morning to bought a roast duck and told with the the old man (glasses) to help me cut it for easy to eat but he said NO. Then another customer (women) came and bought same one with me and he did it for her. (Ps stick on his face) unbelievable.

There's better vietnamese restaurants, changed owners and the food mainly duck and BBQ pork is day old hence dry and hard. Don't recommend here.
