Ming Court Chinese Restaurant

Food is very tasty, restaurant is very tired with boxes under tarps in the room. Great for takeaway though.

Food is pretty good. Service was exact. Parking out the front. Large dining area, I usually have a banquet to sample the different foods.

That's the last time I buy Chinese food. The price is ridiculous. 2 special fried rice's, 1 Singapore noodles, 2 meat dishes, and 3 dim sims $100. The fried rice had 2 prawns in it. Never again.

A terrible dining experience. The server/owner was incredibly rude and we felt like our mere presence there was an inconvenience. The food is expensive and we ordered entrees, mains and drinks yet were treated like dirt the entire time. And why is the floor so sticky?

When I phoned to make a booking, I was greeting by a very rude and abrupt lady. I just put it down to the fact that I rang around lunch time and that they were busy and stressed.
On the day of the booking, we arrived at the restaurant and were shown to our table by. I assume, same rude and abrupt lady. The restaurant was freezing cold. We asked if the heater could be turned on and the lovely waiter obliged. The waiter did an amazing job and the food wasn't too bad; however the overall experience was not pleasant. The restaurant is really dirty and doesn't have a nice ambience at all. We will definitely not be going back.

Called through and placed and order for pick up, when total was mentioned I went to query the total price ($64) as it didnt much the prices (total $47.50) on their website, the phone call was disconnected. When I arrived at the restaurant and queried the the total the person at the counter blamed the website person for not updating the menu online. So this is dissappointing that their menu is not updated on the website, yes there is a mention prices can change on there, however when you try to query it the call gets ended. So beware when ordering from their menu from their website as all their prices are incorrect.
Otherwise, the food was delicious.

The WORST Chinese I have ever eaten.
Charged full price despite being told over the phone that there would be a 10% discount for paying cash.
The food was abysmal. Everything had water added to it and had no taste. Vegetables were old and tasteless.
The chicken was thrown out as it was still pink when cut open and full or gristle. The prawn crackers were burnt and days old looking. Didn’t even open them.
What a waste of money!
Never order from here. Save yourself the disappointment.

Over the years we've had a number of take out meals from here and all the family have always enjoyed their meals.

Note to customers… when ordering over the phone, speak clearly, when placing your order, and your delivery instructions. Also check your order before they leave when its delivered.
They used to be great - sadly we will not be ordering from them again.

Went downhill in big way after Barry sold out to new owners nearly four years ago. Food has gone down hill and the pit bull who served us was without doubt the most obnoxious waiter we've experienced at any restaurant ever in 50 years.

Unfortunately I have to give this 1 star. Our waitress looked like she’d been grounded for a year whilst sucking a lemon.
Decor was 30+ years old and showing it desperately needing a redo.
We stayed because of the food might make up for our feelings so far. Chose banquet B.
Oh the disappointment. Too much salt, overuse of uncooked garlic and lack of meat and seafood in the dishes.
Would of been better putting a match to my $80.00.

The food was absolutely fantastic, plenty of flavour, looked and tasted superb. Will be making this our regular go to. The wife has already posted on her facebook page how good the curry chicken and cashews were.

What can I say read reviews trust them l was regular customer here before ownership changed food is disgusting and customer service is disgusting the doors will be shut soon don't go here ever avoid avoid avoid.

At one time this was our favourite place to eat & have takeaway. We moved out of Narre area 7 years ago and decided to revisit as we were going to Bunjil Place. Ming Court has gone down drastically. Food was inedible and staff member on desk was uninterested and rude when we advised of our unhappiness with food. She literally threw the containers at us that we requested for our DOG food. So disappointed, never again

Very poor customer service. The lady treated me like an idiot when I went to pick up my order, screaming at me what is your name when I kept saying the guy didn't take my name down. Very rude and dismissive attitude from her. Too much vegetables in their meat dishes. Chicken was missing completely from the chicken fried rice. I don't know how that is something that can be missed from a chicken fried rice. It smelt very eggy. Not worth the money.

We ordered from this place and unfortunately it was the worst Chinese food we have ever had. We ordered a selection of 7 dishes and everything was horrible. You would think that out of 7 dishes that at least one or two would be good but nope. There was no flavor in anything. The food was tasteless and extremely greasy. The only good thing was the dipping sauces.

We ate as much as we could and wound up throwing the rest in the garbage. It was such a waste and cost us nearly $100 and most went into the bin.

Prior to a change in what I presume is ownership, this restaurant served exceptional cuisine; food that met, or exceeded, it's price point.
Today, the food is at best mediocre, overly salty and lacking in depth of character.
The 'homemade' dim sims, resemble frozen supermarket dim sims; the fried rice is clumped and claggy; the chicken dry, and all fried foods are exceptionally oily.
Compounding this, is price. If you want the culinary experience this place has to offer for less, consider a petrol station pie warmer.

Zero stars! The worst attempt at Chinese food I’ve ever encountered. Used to be great but since the change of ownership this place has gone downhill big time. Horrible, dry, tasteless food, extremely rude staff, I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business! The way they are going they will be losing their doors for good. Might be fir the best. AVOID!
