Miners Ridge reviews
16Thank God the secret isn't out yet! The Miners Ridge carriage accommodation just gets better each time we visit.and Katrina with Andrew make the experience even better. BUT keep that to yourself reader, please.
Lovely smaller cellar door with fantastic wines, in and outdoor seating and an excellent grazing platter.
Thank you Katrina and Andrew for another wonderful experience at Miners Ridge. We loved our 2-night stay in the cosy carriage. Your 2022 Rosé will be my summer drink of choice! We’ll be back soon.
What a wonderful afternoon. Great wine, platter and host. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We will be back and recommend you to anyone who will listen ️
Great hosts, wines, accommodation, food and location. Thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend here. Thanks Katrina, Andrew and Milo
I'd highly recommend booking a wine tasting or even a vineyard walk and talk with Andrew and Katrina, who were so welcoming of our small group (including dog). We enjoyed a wander and relaxed tasting of their excellent wines on Sunday afternoon on their lovely property. The BnB and camping accommodation also look great for anyone wanting to stay on-site.
Our group of 6 LOVED coming here. We had a fantastic couple of hours trying delicious boutique wines, and having a ploughman's style platter which was overflowing with delicious morsels. Katrina and Andrew were very friendly and knowledgeable, and really topped off our experience by dropping our wines at our accommodation just up the road. They also have a bed and breakfast and camping spot if you were wanting to stay and enjoy even longer! We would recommend to anyone in the area.
We stopped by on our way to Halls Gap and are so happy we did! Katrina was great to communicate with and made booking a time to stop in super easy. The winery walk and talk was casual and fun, and we had a great chat over wine tasting. The wine was delicious (we took a bottle home), would highly recommend visiting Miners Ridge.
Stayed in carriage for third time. Don't tell anyone though that this is such a beautiful tranquil place. Katrina and Andrew are great hosts. Food and wine tops. The platter a must have with the Tempranillo.
Hosts, wines, food, setting and hospitality - all outstanding. A tranquil spot to enjoy a relax and re-charge. Our third visit but definitely not our last. Try the Tempranillo.delicious. Thanks Katrina and Andrew!
Our stay at Miners Ridge was incredible. From the gorgeous wines to the incredible hospitality, we had the most relaxing authentic experience in the Grampians. Katrina's communication was brilliant, assuring us and assisting us in every way. On arrival, a wine tasting, which felt like catching up over a glass or two. The wines are fab, to suit every palette. Katrina is also a sensational cook - the food was that good we ate on our deck both nights. As you can see form the photos the attention to detail was next level. As for the accommodation, superb. Cosy, roomy and authentic - a lovely and quirky way to spend a couple of nights. For sunset, take a short walk up the driveway to their very own bench that overlooks the Grampians, you feel a million miles away as you see the kangaroos bound in the distance. Utter bliss. We would 100% recommend, tasting, eating and staying at Miners Ridge, we will be again for sure. Thank you so much.
Great wines, amazing foods and the host was very welcoming and entertaining. Looking forward to the next visit
What a great afternoon. Beautiful wine, beautiful food and beautiful host's. Thanks Katrina and Andrew.
Every year we venture up to the Grampians and this was our first visit to Miners Ridge but definitely will not be the last.
What a brilliant place this is. 5 minutes from Ararat. Tranquil, peaceful and utterly relaxing. Hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming and have your every need catered for. Definitely the place to go to recharge the batteries.
The attention to detail in the little things is wonderful. What a cosy, clean and comfortable place to spend 4 days. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend a relaxing stay at this beautiful unique family-run B&B set among the gumtrees and overlooking the vineyard. Every little detail has been thought of.
Also, even if you’re not a guest at the B&B, you MUST do their sunset wine tasting and platter experience, set atop a sunny hillside (weather permitting) or inside a gorgeous old barn (if windy or rainy like it was for us). Huge feast, amazing celebration, beautiful views etc. They pick you up from your local accom even if you’re not a guest with them.
