I would recommend Jasmine Zhang to anyone looking for a Mandarin-speaking counsellor in Melbourne. She is highly professional, experienced, and pays attention to detail. However, some others, seemingly recent counseling master's graduates, lacked professionalism in handling my issues, giving me a less than satisfactory experience. It is hoped that counselors can enhance their counseling skills, focusing on the client rather than constantly worrying about whether they are educating the clients of correct knowledge. Additionally, the cancellation policy stated a three bussiness day advance reminder via text, but I did not receive the message on time; they only sent it one working day in advance. It's known that individuals with mental health issues may struggle with executive function, so timely reminders are essential. Better service is built on understanding the unique needs of your clients, reducing their hassle, rather than expecting them to read and analyze everything carefully.

My experience at Mindspace was disappointing due to the lack of attention to detail by the professional service provider, poor customer support, and ineffective communication. These are critical aspects of a mental health service provider's role, and unfortunately, Mindspace did not excel in these areas during my time with them. I hope they take this feedback to heart and work toward improving their services to better support their clients.

Clients are required to pay the fee when making the appointment and can't reschedule for free within 48 business hours but the consultant herself was late for an hour. She forgot about the session so she was somewhere outside for the whole online session. It was really windy.

They have one of the best Mandarin counselling services in Melbourne. My therapist is very competent in what she is doing.
They also have all kinds of psychology tests and courses about career development/psych study. As a psychology student, I found the courses truly helpful that I can learn how to pursue my career in mental health industry from someone experienced.

That’s ridiculous! I canceled my appointment on Feb 14 for my appointment on Feb 19, and waiting for my full fare consulting fee $126 come back to me for a half month! I made the call twice but just been told I need to wait FOREVER until their ‘busy’ transaction handling staff is available to call me. I can’t believe that’s the way a mental clinic operating their business and treating customers like that!
