Mimolette reviews
18Just a really nice coffe and ham and cheese Croissant here delicious definitely going back
I tried their hot chocolate and plain croissants.
It's a coffee place, so I wasn't expecting it to be amazing. However the hot chocolate tasted almost entirely of milk. I can't really blame them since it's not their specialty, most cafes don't do a decent hot chocolate.
The croissants are good, but I can't quite get behind how much they cost. I bought three and the croissants alone were over $19 on top of the drinks. Inflation and all, but it feels too steep for my budget.
Besides that, the decor is cute and it feels local, but the service doesn't really have any of that local warmth for me. I feel more like a bother when I visit.
I probably won't be back, even though I live around the corner. I don't drink coffee though, so it's not really a big deal.
Sitting out front on a rainy Friday day in Melbourne and didn’t know this place existed. Went in and ordered a coffee and saw some beautiful looking baguette’s in the display, ordered a ham and Brie cheese one and have just finished it and omg at last I have found a place that is similar to the amazing ones we had in France. Thanks very much guys. (Great coffee as well)
Mimolette what an amazing little french cafe. The Baguettes are so Devine. The taste like you just come from a french cafe on The Champs-Élysées. Its so deliciously tasty. Its a fantastic place with a wonderful french owner. I been to Paris a few times and was quite amazing at finding a little piece of Paris right in the heart of melbourne They also make exceptional coffee to go with your divine french baguettes. Highly highly recommend this hidden little gem in st kilda
Amazing food and coffee. Richard (owner) roasts the coffee beans on site and they’re some of the best I’ve tasted. Highly recommend checking this place out. It’s a real gem.
Over priced and gross. Ordered a take away muesli, $11 for half a scoop of muesli and the yoghurt was hard and expired. Who is giving this place good reviews?
What a great chance discovery. Cute shopfront, friendly crew, limited range of decadent deli products (organic and chemical free meats, cheeses, pâté, butter, etc plus Proper crisps). Bought two great coffees, two delish baguettes with vegos catered for.
Friendly staff, delicious and fresh food + excellent coffee. This is my regular weekend cafe. A little bit pricey but worth it. This cafe has a genuine French feel to it.
Love the sandwiches - they’re a little on pricey size but amazing quality! Coffee is fairly consistent, and their plant based milk options are well done. Definitely try the pastries too, and my absolute fave on their menu is their ham and cheese croissant!
The best Coffee in the area, worth walking to from St. Kilda Rd. Offices if you want good Coffee because there isn't anything in the general area that comes close.
Some of the best coffee in Melbourne. I know that’s a big call but honestly this place is such a hidden gem. Beautiful croissants and pastries. Oh and they know how to make an exceptional oat cappuccino! ️ ️
Can't believe I hadn't heard of this place earlier. They roast their coffee in house and it's amazing. Haven't tried any of the food yet but it looks like they have some basic options up for grabs.
For the coffee lovers.
Roasted and ground on site. If you want the real coffee experience around St Kilda look no further. Also sell roasted coffee and coffee making equipment.
I'll need an excuse to come back.
Staff are lovely, coffee is amazing, great selection of picnic items in the fridge and amazing fresh baguettes!
Great coffee and great service. These guys are in the running against our other favourite coffee spot called the coffee geek in South Yarra. Both fantastically delicious and meticulously prepared by owners that actually demonstrate care in their businesses and customer's experience.
We'll return often
This place is Windsor's best kept secret. Let's not destroy its sanctity by attracting the mainstream. If you are a lover of amazing crafted coffee and authentic North Parisian baguettes, then look no further than Mimolette on Punt. Its owner Richard is one of the most passionate cafe owners I met, he has a warm heart and very personable to all his customers. His lovely partner Asha makes the baguettes behind the scenes and masterful in her work. Patrick is easy on the eyes and makes a mean coffee, super nice too. I won't say more. Take the plunge and try it for yourself. You may be surprised at the results. Don't tell your friends.
This is my favourite place to go for coffee & a chat. They also make the best toasted sandwiches EVER. Ps. I love you guys. (:
This place is magic! Lovely french vibe and pain a chocolate! The coffee is supreme, uses some of the best roasted beans in melbs!
