I was served by someone quite rude on the weekend. When I walked in the two girls on were two busy having a gossip session to achnowledge the customers around them. I had come in to return some faulty earings which I purchased the night before as the backs were bent. She kept repeating that we don't exchange earings for change of mind and I said I'm aware of this (as a silver member ive purchased plenty of products to know your conditions) and this isn't a change of mind it's a faulty pair which couldn't be seen until I took them off the packaging given they were studs. I was fully intending on replacing the item but there was none in stock and i had selected another pair instead. I asked her prior if she could see if they had another pair as the floor stock seemed to have some faults and she had a real problem with this. I had to ask multiple times and her response in the end was well if you are going to buy them then I will. Obviously if im asking it's because I'm interested but this should not be her response as its her job to assist with customers to purchase the products and that those products are fit for purpose. After all this she said well I'll do it this once (return the faulty pair) but you need to check the new pair you want to buy as we won't do it again as you've checked them. Firstly I didn't appreciate being treated this way given the item was faulty and met the return guidelines and I found her approach to be rude and condescending. I ended up not buying the new pair as her attitude made me feel unwelcome as a customer. I also find it interesting that since returning the item as a faulty pair that this store suddenly has it in stock on the Sunday when they didn't have any to replace the them. Guess hygiene isn't too much of a priority and given no jeweller should be onselling any items that pose a hygiene risk this has made me very cautious of buying any earings from Mimco again. Who is to know how many pairs of earings they put back on the floor after being faulty. Very disappointing.

Was fine. Good range although Mimco has definitely got less exciting in recent years. They used to have way more dramatic stuff. And the sales ladies were fine.

You guys hire the rudest staff members. At the werribee store was so cold shouldered, came to Essendon and some girl named Laura can’t do her job properly at all. A line is waiting but she’s with some other customers knowing I’ve been waiting for 10 mins. As if that wasn’t bad enough she decided to chat and hug her friends to came to visit. Never buying in person again.

Came in yesterday looking for two gifts, your two staff members were not helpful at all they were too busy talking about other gossip together. When we approach for help we get like no help and like we are a bother, we will definitely not be coming to Essendon store again, staff there 31/3 need intense training on customer service and professionalism.

Ally was fantastic. She helped contact the Preston store to try and locate a balsa strap for my everley pouch. The same day Ally made contact to find out whether the store contacted me as they were not answering the phone all week. It's customer service like this that really makes a difference. My favourite Mimco store is the dfo store. Thank you Ally for going the extra mile. Regards Linda

Disappointed with the service I received today from one of the staff members. If you don't want to be kind and helpful I'm sure there are plenty of people that would love to have your job

I was there at 10 waiting for it to open but the staff were late, decent sale on discontinued items.
