Milsims Games reviews
37Great shop with a huge selection. Fantastic staff. Huge amount of Games Workshop stock and an amazing selection of board games and painting supplies. They also have a great website with accurate stock levels great for pickup or deliveries. Complete selection of paints for miniatures. The range of stock blows my mind.
I've ordered online from these guys before and had a great experience - had the chance to go there in person to pick up a few items, and I've gotta say the team is excellent - incredibly friendly and funny, I can tell these guys are passionate about making the hobby as accessible as possible
This is a great store! Wide range of boardgames, tabletop mini games, childrens games, and puzzles.
The store staff are knowledgable and friendly, and go the extra mile to meet an order. This can sometimes be dependant on overseas shipments, but MilSims is very good about communicating and tracking.
The store has also got a good range of paints, sealants, and tools for your tabletop minis.
In case you can't guess, I highly recommend MilSims, will buy from again!
One of the best stores in Melbourne for Miniatures and RPG books. Great range of products and helpful staff.
Really fantastic customer service despite stock issues with suppliers, will be recommending them to my friends
Very Cool store and a nice selection of board games, puzzles, memory games, paints, playing cards and games
This shop is fabulous for games of all sorts. I found two fun gifts for my Grandchildren today.
Thoughtful and cool staff, good picks of board games, competitive prices, open late on a Friday.
My family loves this store! It has an amazing range of games, and the staff are always super helpful and knowledgeable.
I went there and bought something I wanted and then I got home and had pizza for dinner. Good day
Phone and check items are in stock before you place an order online. We ordered 38 items that were indicated as in stock on their website on the search and cart page, but apparently customers are expected to open each item individually to check stock numbers there.
When they picked our order they advised 7 of them were not in stock and they had no plans on ordering more anytime soon. We have been offered store credit, which leaves us out of pocket and out of goods, and been told if we want a refund we need to pay a 10% restocking fee to get the money back for the items they did not have available as advertised.
After calling the store to find out what had happened with the 31 items they did have in stock that I paid for, they advised they decided to keep them aside even though I had requested and paid for express shipping.
At no point during the ordering process was I made aware of the 10% stocking fee for items that are out of stock, or the need to check each item has sufficient quantity in stock myself (most websites do this for you). Maybe these are some changes you could implement to make the shopping experience less painful for the next person.
Ordered online from here a couple of times. It's always been easy, great communication and fast delivery. Like any online store that also has a shopfront, it's good to double check what they have in stock before ordering it if you're on a deadline to get get something but that's no fault of theirs. Would recommend and will be using them again!
I asked to order a Mudgullet miniature in for me. When I rang up to see if it was in store it turns out that it was in store, but employee hadn't ordered it properly. Fair enough. People make mistakes.
I then got a weird, increasingly agitated, lecture about how to place an order properly. I think it might have helped the employee, but from a customers perspective it was just super odd, and got more bizarre as it went along.
As pandemic lockdown means can only either mail order or pick up in the car park to get the Mudgullet.but honestly after the weird lecture it just feels too awkward to go down there, so I'm just going to order one online from somewhere else.
The games are organized alphabetically so everything is easy to find and the staff love the games and are super nice and helpful, you can just tell that they love games and want you to enjoy them too
Well organised, spacious and well stocked gaming store with friendly staff and other customers!
Used to be my go to hobby store, previous owners ruined it. The new owners and staff are friendly, helpful, service is good, prices are good. Location is excellent! Really happy to see MilSims back!
Not 5 star coz they did not have the one thing i wanted but they are really good at helping me find iut when it comes
Very friendly
As i said helpful
I will happily go back for more
Good prices and a much nicer looking store than previous incarnations. Good Customer Service, Good knowledge of their products and personal integrity in the staff (nearly bought a game with the expansion for a previous, incompatible edition)
A diverse range of tabletop and card games can be found in this large but warm store. Plenty of D&D minis and dice. The staff here are lovely and will answer any questions you have.
Very easy to spend a lot of money in here.
Friendly, knowledgeable, lots of different stock you keep you interested. Enjoyed the space and looking at items I'd normally only see online.
