Milly & Romeo’s reviews
25We had our employee get together at Milly & Romeo's today for 30+ staff and thoroughly enjoyed the "High Tea" style home cooked foods, great coffee & tea, and a great atmosphere and location, staff are wonderful, will be back no doubt, thanks from Dave @WRL.
Had a great time for afternoon tea after a bike ride from Meeniyan. The hazelnut hot chocolate was delicious and along with a slice of cheescake you can't go wrong. The staff were super lovely and there was a lovely atmosphere about the place as well! Highly recommend to all!
Absolutely fabulous coffee and cakes, amont the best I have seen ans tasted in Victoria ans maybe even Australia. Thank you for the delightful moment!
Beautiful place to have lunch, gorgeous veggie quiche and salad, couldn't find fault with any of it. Husbands lunch the same, very tasty.
Just a wonderful place to eat. The food here is fresh and delightful, the staff extremely attentive also. This place is simply a gem -
Food is good when it's actually cooked. Too often the eggs are still raw. The staff are friendly but totally inept. Orders are missed, brought out in a haphazard manner, incorrect and slow.
New autumn breakfast menu.support local.they are great.dogs welcome outside if well behaved! And they have a great salt and pepper shaker collection.
Great food, many choices, a menu that has so many great options. A fantastic spot right on the rail trail, this is a great stop. The owners should be proud of their business, the service is outstanding, they even sold us a loaf of bread. Wished I lived near by, i would go there more often.
Give em a go, you will love it and the location.
Bread was nice but the lady who served us became inattentive to us after we asked how long the toastie will take. Understood that country life is supposed to be slow but we got held up in traffic so we were kind of hoping to know how much longer the food would be. When the bread was done she just tossed the bread aside and turned around to serve another customer without indicating we were free to go. We were just left standing next to the bread not understanding what’s more we need to wait. I had to look over the cashier to find the bread amidst the sweets. We hope she won’t put on this attitude to other visitors because that is not necessary and we asked only once.
This was a wonderful place to stop for lunch. The service was generous, friendly and prompt. The menu was varied and very reasonably priced. The food was excellent! The venue is charming. It is well worth stoppping by for a meal.
Beautiful and sweet little cafe situated by the fairy walk/ bike track in Koonwarra. The building itself smells amazing, is light and cozy. The food was delicious and hearty. Reasonably priced and the coffee were great too. Highly recommend staff were also lovely & attentive
This is a lovely little Cafe on the corner of the highway at Koonwarra, about 2.5 hours East of Melbourne when you are heading towards Wilson's Promontory.
The brownie served up with my coffee was rich and delicious and satisfying. Also served up are scones with jam and cream and other delights.
If you want lunch that is available as well.
A good place to stop on a day's outing.
A lovely peaceful place to eat. Friendly staff. Lovely fresh made / baked food. And their Vanilla Slice.well. I'm addicted! Best I have ever tasted.
DELICIOUS! Do yourself a favor and stop today. Insanely fresh and tasty baked goods and brekkie. Excellent coffee, too! More than anything, very kind staff who love what they do. We felt right at home. Already craving more Sweet Honey Bread!
This place is fantastic. The best Devonshire tea ever. A huge pot of brewed tea. Friendly staff. Great out door seating.
Just stop here for lunch, don't think just stop. The food is incredible and all made in house. Each member of the family ordered something different and each item was exceptional. Most cafe's don't think about the side salad on the plate, whereas here even that was fantastic.
Simply delicious pastries and food made from quality ingredients with love. Their chocolate merengues and brownies are to die for ミリー アンド ロメオズ この辺りでスイーツを食べるなら絶対ここ。新鮮な原材料から作られた素朴な味わいがやみつきに!クッキングスクールも開催している。
Been here a number of occasions. Generally savouries are tasty and wholesome. The deserts are why you're here - extravagant, rich and beautifully prepared. These cakes will light up your taste buds and are the perfect afternoon accompaniment to your afternoon coffee or tea
DISGUSTING - I went there on Sunday and was served by the rudest person I have ever met. My eggs were served cold and when I tried to explain this she smiled and said "Have a nice day". I was gobsmacked! The man behind me in the queue asked her what was funny about my complaint (His coffee was apparently served cold). She also told him to have a nice day! And then proceeded to tell us both to try the next town along. DISGUSTING MILLY's and ROMEO's.
