Milligram Melbourne Central reviews
40I’ve been coming to this place whenever I need to buy stationeries and bags for the past few years. I have a recent bad experience with one of their staff. That Asian gay guy was condescending towards me, when I asked about a discount from their website. Fortunately, I got a better bag from a nearby shop. I’ll never shop again if that thing will be there again.
Cool products, great for gifting if you're into stationary, homewares, and small gadgets
Beautiful stationery! A bit pricey but well worth a visit. My favourite umbrella was from here. (it has a rabbit handle!)
Milligram is an excellent specialist stationery store with a range of gifts and small homewares also in stock. Service is polite and accommodating. My one gripe is that the variety of pen manufacturers is less than it used to be; I should like to see more range so I can compare similar products
Five stars for the great customer service!
It has been super easy to reach out to customer service team via email. The rep was quick to respond and very helpful. A quick action was taken on my query. Highly appreciate it:)
They have good collections of fountain pens. Pilot capless is my favorite. Friendly and helpful staffs. Helped me do the nib test.
ECCLECTIC MIX OF BOOKS, STATIONERY AND PENS
Milligram is a choan of stores. This outlet is the Melbourne Central; Shopping Centre.
Good range of books and a wide sleection of stationery goods. Some quirky items that would make good birthday presents.
It's on one level floor so people with mobility issues will be fine here. There are lifts and escalators throughout the complex. A shotrwalk from the shop gets you to the airbridge across to Emporium. If books are your thing, you can continue your browsing at Readings bookstore on level 1 in Emporium.
This is my favourite stationery shop and a must visit when in Melbourne. It is even one of the emails I like to get and order from.
100 day return policy is a scam and the manager is a liar.
Long story short I went in to ask about the return policy (13 days after purchase). I was told I would need it in perfect condition and with the tags intact. I said yes to both. And then without even looking at it, was refused.
I reached out to support for clarification and was told that the manager said the tags werent intact and it wasnt in good condition. Both of which are lies because he NEVER LOOKED AT IT.
I would have been fine with just some extra info. But to lie about me just because they dont feel like dealing with a return? ! Liars get 1 star!
Terrible customer service! There were 3 staff members chatting away and ignoring all customers. Products are over-priced and can be easily found in other shops on a better price with friendly service.
Nice shop. Staffs are very accommodating. There are lots of interesting items, can’t wait to go back and shop more of their items.
I just walked past it, but it seemed inviting. Maybe I will go in next time if I need another few pencils, or# a small case for them
Outstanding customer service - Joanna, the Retail Customer Relations Manager, is super! A real manager of customer relations. Exemplary service from start to finish relating to an out of warranty purchase - couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Overpriced and bad customer service
Many of the products here you can find cheaper from officeworks, Amazon or Catch, so don't waste your money here.
Customer service is really bad. They lock up their Lamy products, and you will be waiting there forever with no one to serve you. Staff behind counter was unwilling to even offer you a paper bag for your gift purchase. I honestly don't recommend it.
I could buy the hole store! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Great selection of stationery and all thing that make that WFH smell arh-mazingy
Good selection of products to choose for any kind of celebration or for personal use. A bit pricy, but good quality.
Love to buy stationery there and they're always got good stuff! A bit pricy but I can find what I like.
Would have been a five star review, as I really enjoyed browsing the shop. However, I’d picked up a gift for my husband, and I’d asked two shop assistants if I could get it gift-wrapped. Both were lovely, and said it wouldn’t be a problem. However, I was later informed (after already purchasing the item) that the shop assistants had been barred by their manager from assisting with the gift-wrapping, as the shop was getting quite busy (which, incidentally, cleared out again quite shortly). They directed me to a DIY area, where I could wrap the present myself, which I wouldn’t have minded if that option had been presented to me from the start, but I’d been assured gift-wrapping by two staff members prior. I work in customer service myself, and if something has been promised to the client (especially something that would have taken all of 5 minutes of the shop’s time), it would have been nice if it had been seen through. I would have waited. Or if I’d seen the staff really struggling for time, I’d have offered to do it myself. Having said that, the shop assistants were really lovely, but management and manner of client communication leaves much to be desired. I really wanted to purchase a few more things from the shop, but will now buy them online instead.
I really enjoy wandering around in this store.who knew all things pen and paper with accessories could be such a cool place to visit
They have a special section for Lamy pens - inks, nibs, everything. Lovely stationery, good people, no hassles and Lamy. Fountain pens. Yum!
