Millgrove Village Bakery reviews
18 They offer banh mi (Vietnamese Pork Rolls) however the bread rolls go soggy before you get back in your car.
They need to ensure they provide the correct bread roll that can retain the sauce without going soggy within 2mins.
It is like getting a Caesar salad with iceberg lettuce instead of cos cos.
Thumbs up for their good solid cup of coffee, unlike other cafes that are selling mainly milk foam nowadays.
A small bakery that could well and truly do with a renovation, but friendly service and reasonable prices. You can find the usual fare of pastries and pies that you'd commonly look for in a bakery. It wasn't overly busy, so we received prompt service.
Excellent home made pies, great variety to choose from. Fantastic home made cheese cake baked on site. But to our surprise the biggest news is the fantastic 100% strong Arabica Coffee. Definitely will be back again.
I tried the burgundy pie, and Shepard's pie. My companion tried the sausage rolls all are home-made and on site. Absolutely delicious.
Very friendly and lovely clean shop.
Best pies you can buy. I love the very hot curry ones and my partner loves the blistering chilli ones. Delicious!
Yummy cakes and wholesome, home-made pies and pastries. Just the place to visit before a bushwalk or a bike ride, to stock up on supplies for the day, or to drop into after a tiring day.
From the outside Millgrove Bakery looks like a place you'd just drive past. Don't. Call in for coffee and in-house made cakes and savouries of superlative quality. The cycling group I was with were all delighted. I'll be heading back for morning tea in the near future. Highly recommended.
It may not look like much but recommend give them a go.
The pies are amazing great crust and the filling is perfect.
Worth stopping in and avoiding the crowds in Warburton.
Cute little bakery. We stopped by to grab some quick breakfast options. Were received by the lovely owner who took time to explain the vegetarian options available. We bought few pasties and pies - amazing taste!
Fantastic food coffee and service very friendly staff nice to sit outside a beautiful place to visit wonderful
They were out of pies so she suggested we go into warberton to get one there, so sweet! Very honest.
Friendly staff. Not much variety in terms of food available but a popular place. Steak n Chillie pie is too hot for an average person to eat, stay away from that.
Honest old-school country bakery owned by the loveliest lady! Solid chocolate eclair game - decent choux, volumes of fresh cream, thick layers of solid dark chocolate, and big abough to feed a family. Quality and quantity in a rare crossover.
After recently moving to the yarra valley and trying a number of bakeries I rate this one as one of the best in the area.
Came into the shop I'll looking for a sweet pick me up for my group of students. The lady was extremely friendly and hospitibal
Best pies, apple turnovers, and vanilla slices in the Yarra Valley. Recommend the steak and chilli pie delicious!
Service was great. Friendly. I had an onion and tomatoe pie.it wasn't my sort of pie. Average at best.
