Mill Market Cafe reviews
54 Amazing place to sit and relax. Friendly staff are always happy to see you and recommend.
The only problem is choosing what to eat, especially if you have a sweet tooth
I love the Mill Cafe, the staff are friendly, the food is fresh my favourite is the chicken toasty and the Chai Tea is the best in town!
The best cafe I’ve been to in a long time!
Celebrated my wedding honeymoon with my husband
(You need to check this out!)
We live in Geelong and would come all the way for brekky again!
Had the Mediterranean Focaccia! Absolutely marvellous! Great service, do your self a favour try the place you won’t be disappointed! Awesome place!
I cannot believe the price. $19.50 for a chicken sour dough toastie. I don't care what else was on it there is no justification for that sort of price. Maybe $14.50 for a ham and cheese toasted sandwich. I don't think so.
Staff are always so lovely and the food is absolutely incredible. Such a fun and chill atmosphere to be in.
Outstanding friendly and prompt service! The range and quality of food was so delicious that we decided to order some more to take home for dinner.
Absolutely love the mill.nothing beats coming to the Cafe and having a beautiful lunch and even better cake rage and Great coffee, then browsing through the mass area of antiques, retro and vintage items.love whistling along to the old songs playing in the background. #oldsoul
What a wonderful experience! Delicious food, extraordinary ingredients and great service. Try the Reuben Sandwich - you'd have to go to NY for better. We're definitely going back.
We had a fabulous experience at The Mill Cafe. Food and coffee were delicious and service was friendly and fast. We 100% recommend visiting and you’ll probably even see us there again!
The sausage rolls are fire I loved the sauce that came with them and the actual sausage roll was just amazing!
It’s not often you get a perfect coffee but that’s what I got today. Thanks Mill Market Cafe and well done to Ray for making it and his excellent customer service.
Lovely lunch (we had the pie, chips & salad), very fresh. Good coffee too:) would definitely recommend.
The chicken in our Chicken Salad dish was dry and worse than those from supermarket frozen crumbed chicken fillet. Very disappointed.
Angus beef pie was ordinary,
Coffee was good.
Food can be better especially we used to visit here nearly once every 2 months.
Huge room for improvement!
Lovely atmosphere, delicious breakfast & coffee was beautiful, perfect temperature & very helpful staff.
Every few months I visit the Mill Markets and lunch at the cafe. Always amazed at the genuine service and smiles. The food is tasty as, and well priced.
Fresh flowers on the tables add atmosphere.
Hats off to the staff for their attentive service.
There were people queued up waiting and on numerous occasions despite servers taking food to tables, the lady taking the orders and money not only took food to tables, she prepared cakes etc.without washing her hands. Owner was preparing food as well as other kitchen tasks without washing her hands between. On top of this a guy with a beard preparing food? I’ve worked in hospitality so know what I’m talking about. She should have been doing job only to avoid people having to wait so long to order.
Also Saturday and Sunday a 10% surcharge was applied. Fair enough on a Sunday but $12.10 for two pots of hot water with tea bags? Bit rich.
Won’t be back to this cafe.
Not the friendliest customer service experience I've had. Coffee and turmeric latte were very weak.
A great little place to enjoy a cuppa, scone with jam & cream.
Awesome staff
Very friendly. Highly recommend
I’m really disappointed to be writing this as we had such an awesome experience until the very end.
It was a super busy lunch period on a Saturday. The staff were under the pump and I really felt for them, our food took alittle bit but we totally understood as there were a lot of people in the dining area.
Food arrived - it was 10/10! We had the chicken sandwich and salami focaccia.
There were a few demanding customers (I’ve worked in hospo so I can spot them a mile away) so the staff were really under the pump. One of the staff members was racing a cup of coffee back to the kitchen and there were some customers standing in her way. In frustration, she said the words ‘f**king r****s’ as she dashed back to the kitchen. We were so stunned we got up and left right away. There were also families around and kids don’t need to hear or see that. I understand there is pressure felt on busy days but by no means is it ok to use that term, especially toward a paying customer. So overall the experience was a 10/10 until the angry staff member pulled that stunt.
