Mildura Working Man's Club reviews
40 Great value and great food.
We went fancy like Applebee's and had a pot and parmie before the movie. The schnitees are delicious.
Nice little treat for a mother-son date
Great food at reasonable price, staff were lovely. Kids area available in family dining area.
Nice meals, fast service.
Not sure why we need to sign in to jave a family meal in the bistro
Poor service and bar staff lied to us about after hours menu being not available at 9. We got there 8: 50 and they said kitchen is closing and go to bar and order when we got to the bar there was older man and lady too busy flirting behind the counter and let us down. Wouldn't recommend this place their staff aren't considerate.you are better off at any other restaurant in Mildura just don't go there it's just not worth your time.
Called in with a group of friends for lunch. We sat in the general bar area where some of the group could follow the races and have a flutter on Keno. Staff were friendly & efficient, food was good and prices for food & drinks reasonable. A very pleasant afternoon enjoyed by all.
We had a very enjoyable night. Food was great, especially the jam donuts and churros, which we had for desert.
The staff who work here are just brilliant! 1st night we arrived in Mildura at 10pm. Our motel was closed so after we got the owner out of bed he kindly let us into our room, but there was no food available. We had just driven 4 hours from Adelaide- tired and hungry. I was walking along the street praying a food store would be open and I found the working man's club where my husband is a member. The staff were very kind, very helpful and I bought all their leftover sandwiches. It did us for tea and breakfast next morning. Next day was my husband's birthday and we had lunch at the bistro. DELICIOUS! Well priced, beautifully cooked, friendly staff! 20 out of 10! And thanks to our friend Wendy! We WILL be back! Gold star team- you are a credit to Mildura
A bit of confusion when booking a table. Had to find our table but the steak was great and enjoyed my time there.
Beer was great.nice surrounds cant comment on the meals as we where waiting for chinese takeaway across the road
One of the best consistent places in Mildura. Great bistro, good atmosphere and a good family go to place. Staff are excellent and there is still a good part of the iconic "longest bar" remaining to see a bit of history.
Great big club. Awesome staff. Plenty of different spaces to enjoy. Probably a bit pricey for a club. But overall pretty good
One of our favourite ciders on tap. Friendly, efficient staff. Tidy, covid clean play and relaxation environment. Mildura's pride and joy.
Mildura Working Man's Club offers very good food at reasonable prices. They even do a terrific breakfast on weekends.
This friendly club was once the home of the longest bar in the world. Unfortunately, the 91 metre bar was dismantled in the mid 1990s to make way for more revenue-raising poker machines. I'm not sure the Club Committee made the right decision to remove the bar as it would have remained a fantastic tourist attraction.
Visitors to Mildura can easily obtain a 'Temporary Member' ticket which is valid for seven days. Wendy, Patsy or Veronica are likely to be not far away to assist and are all extremely friendly and helpful.
The Club is located next to the Quest Apartment Hotel and on the main drag (Deakin Avenue).
Whether you are on your own or in a group, you will enjoy your visit to this great welcoming venue.
Meals were nice but unfortunately cold. Service was great but very slow due to not enough staff. Those poor girls need a pay rise $$
I'm really struggling to say anything positive about our recent dining experience. I think the photo shows how much love went into my meal. Cauliflower without white sauce, no greens, the fish was super greasy and the potato was mushy. My friend ordered the roast pork. At $22 you would expect gravy at least, but no gravy available. She was luckier than me, being served two pieces of cauliflower without white sauce and three pieces of pumpkin and again greens not included; she ate half her potato. We did not expect fine dining, but as long time members we were very disappointed with our meals on this occasion.
How nice of a surprise to have prawn crackers come out on your plate of garlic prawns to dip in your sauce, which there was plenty.
Followed up with a punt and a few points watching the great Tom Brady on the MAASSSSSIVE sports screen
Enjoy going here, good to see the friendly, efficient staff - Jeremy, Kristy, Chloe, Stephen, who you can tell WANT to work there.
Meals are always good.
Only went for a look, very well presented, good menu, dining area, bar and pokies. I didn't have time to go there for lunch or dinner, but I wouldn't hesitate to go there next time l'm here.
A bit average, had to wait an eternity to have my order taken, then one of our meals didn't turn up with the rest of the meals on our table. Do not visit at peak times the system isn't coping
Dined here on Anzac day for lunch in the Bistro. Ordered half serve of Chicken Snitchzel and veg. Was a really good meal. Vegies were cooked well and full of flavour. Snitchzel was not oily and crispy crumbs. Family members ordered full size meal and the plates were full.
The man serving at the drinks bar needs an attitude adjustment and a smile and communication would be good.
