Mildura Health Fund

These guys are the real deal. Member owned and not for profit. Outstanding cover, and if you live in Mildura there are extra benefits for day procedures in the Private Hospital which are fully covered. Can split dental and other extras as desired. They have also returned unexpected savings to members in form of payments and at other times put premium rises on hold. Excellent health cover provider.

Update: Well I thought this problem had been resolved months ago. I now have the exact same problem that I had before that needed to be rectified. So it is ground hog day. I have asked to get information on how to make a complaint. Nothing received. So they can reject a claim quickly but not to provide you with information as to how to make a complaint quickly.

I thought I was going to have a problem with a claim like I have had with other health funds. I was contacted by the marketing manager to explain what went wrong and it was being fixed. It was dealt with quickly and respectfully.

Excellent fund. Highly recommended. We changed from one of the big funds & we are so glad we made the move. Fees are good, benefits excellent & service outstanding.

Been with Mildura about 1.5 years so far so good. Until something goes really wrong with u God forbid you really don't know how the fund will turn out. But im saving heaps on my premium and with extras I get triple the benefits of my bupa or medibank equivalent cover. Dentists haven't paid a cent for cleans twice year. Had 1 day procedure in hosp was 100% covered. Joined my dad up. I think people just don't know about this fund and too scared to move but im confident they are the best fund around. Do your research. You can email them they always very attentive and personal.

Swapped from medibank years ago and have never regretted it.friendly helpful staff.and saved so much money on my premiums.
