This company has no business aesthetics and value for customer service. I had called Mike's Carpet Glen Waverley for a carpet quote inspection and on the day of the booking no one showed up. I was WFH because I had this appointment and then no one shows up. I called the store and spoke to the person who made the booking and he advised that their servers are down and that he will look into my query and get back to me. Guess what no one ever called back.

Outstanding interaction and excellent service to customers. Professional workers completed the work on time and correctly, going above and beyond. Wonderful experience.

My first mistake was not reading the reviews. When I searched this company, Google only seems to preview the 5 star reviews and it was definitely my own mistake, for not clicking into the review section to sort for newest reviews, to know what a sham of a company this is.

I thought this company was legit when someone came out to measure, quote and even help pick out a carpet from their catalogue that would suit in my apartment. Thought it was a friendly enough interaction and paid the 70% deposit. This should probably have been a red flag but with such initial friendly service, I paid it.

I needed to get my carpets done before I placed my home on the market. They mentioned full payment was needed before the appointment. Silly me for paying it. With failed updates and being told my appointment was not being attended, to being told it was definitely happening the following week, trying to chase up by phoning - which by the way they barely answer the phone, leaving voice mails, to emailing for a refund with no answer, I decided to follow the advice on Consumer Affairs Victoria's website.

If you're not following up with this company, they definitely aren't following up with you. It's been weeks since I was supposed to have my carpets replaced with no word from them. Don't know how this company is still running when more and more people are being scammed of their money. Have read people losing thousands and not seeing their money ever again. The worst review I saw on product review is a NDIS client being taken advantage of.

Terrible company to deal with. As soon as the deposit is paid there is zero communication after that. Until you pay the deposit the sales guy calls twice a day. Made installation appointments they didn’t show up for. Then after 2 days trying to get hold of someone couldn’t find our order and lost the carpet that we ordered. Eventually installed carpet in a different colour but didn’t finish the job properly or in the way the sales person said was possible. Then when asked to discount the job they refused to return calls or emails. Then instead of discussing the outstanding amount they immediately took out a caveat on the sale of the property. Shonky company, dodgy sales team and inferior products. Then when they do the wrong thing they take over the top dodgy legal action. If I could minus stars I would

Very corrupt business got migrant workers to lay carpet them lied about the quality of work done in an excuse to not pay them for the job. Incredibly sad for the workers. I can only assume this business is exploiting workers or about to go in to bankruptcy!

The owner of this place is dodgy they will take you for a ride for your money they are rude and so arrogant

I want to say thank you for the job WELL DONE! Over all dealing with your company was satisfying on all levels of your organization from sales to installation. We have made choice to install 14mm Krono-Swiss Laminated flooring.
Our Laminated floor was installed last week and we have been impressed by installer TUYEN LE. His professionalism, attention to detail and willing to meet customer needs was really outstanding. We are very happy with installation of the flooring and I will recommend Mike's Carpet Discounters and installers AQ FLOORING company to anyone who is interested. Thank you once again.

Took just under 6 hours to replace carpet in 4 bedrooms. The 2 men were lovely and pleasant. They got the work done without any issues. They were also very respectful - taking their shoes off before entering our home even when the old carpets were still in (most tradies do not do when entering people’s homes). Will definitely hire Mike’s Carpet again!

Arrived earlier than expected and completed the job. Need a bit more attention to detail. I figured out later that I am unable to close two of my doors after the flooring is done. A gap left on flooring trim.

From the minute I walked in the door until the final carpet was installed in my home Mike and his team listened to my every need and guided me in helping to decide what was the best underlay and value for money carpet I could have hoped for at a reasonable price. In future I won't be going anywhere else because these guys really value their customers.truly exceptional service. I highly recommend them to anyone and they cater for all types of business, commercial or residential needs.
