Service is good, the food is also ok but would stay hotter if put on a smaller plate. Big plates don't keep the food hot if it's spread out!

Midlands, 18 holes golf course, it is spilt tho with 1st to 12th on one side of the rd and 13th to 18th on club house side. Quite a flat track and fairways wide in most areas but has couple of water hazards too. Fairways good and the greens in nice condition just needed good mow with not to many sand traps. If you’re in the area worth a hit and good value too.

Outdated venue with terrible food. I went here for a function and pretty much everything was deep fried.

The Chinese food was amazing, we were a group of 10 who were all very happy with our meals! Carmen was very friendly!

Nice facilities. Friendly staff. Enjoyed snack lunch of Chinese "chicken and ginger".

Only been there once, so I can't really say much and to say, give it a go.
What I can only say, they good food &drink & poker machine, on site

They need to get rid Andrea behind bar she picks and choices who to serve she doesn't do much at all she thinks she manager

Just had a very good family members wake at Midlands and it was excellent the staff where great it was a good wake for a great person

Icy cold outside and we were sitting in front of the fire, eating delicious food, a perfect winter afternoon.

Now I know why no one books for meals on a Saturday night!
When we left their were only two other tables occupied.

On 20th June we and two others booked for a 6pm dinner in the bistro, only to walk in on the golf fraternity having their end of day rap up on the LOUDEST of loud speakers possible.one day later and my ears are still ringing! The noise from the speakers was unnecessary and totally unacceptable.

Why take a booking for 6pm for dinner in the bistro when the golfers are still in full back slapping frenzy!
The food was okay, but the evening for 4 of us was ruined.

It's alright if you want a poor selection of pokie machines and straight out of the jar Chinese food. Super average although does cater well to the vegan crowd if that's your thing. Shout out to the bar staff who are almost always friendly and helpful poor alcohol selection. Would suggest going elsewhere for dinner

Great place great staff great open fire and you always feel welcome this place is going forward sorry it is in the top 3 in Ballarat what will they do next keep on going you guys you are on the right track

Excellent staf, Excellent Food. Pete from the bar hand delivered my froth, absolute legend. Carmen from the restaurant provided excellent service, with a big ol grin, best girlfriend ever. Don is the bomb, best parma all day.xx

Apparently the RSL and the golf club have merged, the bistro is run by Asians and 99% of the menu is Asian food, the only Australian food on offer was a chicken parma, I ordered garlic bread for my entrée, and the parma as my main meal, the women taking the orders had no idea what I was talking about, so therefore, much to my disgust, the garlic bread and the parma came out together, absolutely hopeless

Delish food the satay chicken is to die for. Its something i could eat every day veg are still cunchy but not that hard you can not eat them pretty quick service.
Ordering is a little slow but im sure that will get better with time

Extremely nice course, good fairways and greens. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Give it a whirl, I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.

Function room is great. Good size food in good supply and beverage on tap. Lovely staff great customer service. While the occasion was for a family bereavement, they did such a lovely job of welcoming a very large group of people. Thankyou
