Middle South East Cafe

Beautiful cafe, lots of space and relatively quick service considering how many people were there when I went around 9am on a Friday morning. The coffee here tastes amazing and definitely coming back here when I’m in south Yarra.

Immediately greeted when I came in, instantly seated and given a menu. Service was prompt friendly and always with a smile, and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked and well presented. Good size portion. Coffee was delicious would definitely recommend.

Delicious brunch food with a middle eastern twist! Loved the chilli scrambled eggs with sujuk. Nice place to catch up with friends over brunch!

I ordered the “oh my salad”, It was not tasty and really unseasoned (even though I eat with low salt). But good service. I can talk for only for this dish, cause i diid not tried anything else.

This place is popular for a reason. On my two nights in the area I came for breakfast and had wonderful food, enjoyed great service and noticed how a lot of locals stop by for a coffee and a morning chat. A lovely place, I'd love to visit again.

Found this place based off its high reviews and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Melbourne.

Whole family ate here including my 3 kids (12) (9) (2). It had been over a week since all three had sat and eaten a meal as one of multiple always seem to find an issue with the food. The initial service was fantastic and we were seated quickly by a friendly waitor he may have been a bit stretched this morning and could have probably used another on the floor to cover tables. The quality of the food was impeccable and I could not fault it. Multi-storey parking is available nearby so parking is not an issue. Can not wait to visit again.

Our experience was so lovely from beginning to end. The attentive waiter we had was brilliant and seated us quickly with a spacious table. The coffee was so so good, smoothies extremely tasty and our brunch of waffles, eggs and bacon was absolutely outstanding. Bravo. We will be back. Thank you!

The middle south eggs, like a Shakshuka was so good, highly recommend, the fresh juices were great too!

Came around 11AM. The young lady outside who served both my friend and I, she was lovely! Got our drinks and food so quickly. I never drink chai unless my families make it, risky choice but paid off so well, I loved my chai (thank you Hanni). The food was heaven! My parma wasn't even burnt and the sauce tasted so fresh, I finished it all. Looks like this is my new favourite spot.:)

Lamb salad is the best. The service is excellent. Food always comes out fast and fresh. Beautiful coffee and smoothies. Lots of options on the menu for breakfast and lunch.

This place is amazing, and the food is really delicious.

We're staying close by and have been here twice already and will definitely be back before heading home. Staff are phenomenal! Not only are they friendly to customers they're friendly among themselves and it creates a nice atmosphere. Food, even the most basic dishes (fruit toast and scrambled eggs on toast) are so delicious it feels criminal to leave any of it behind. You can see that they've really thought about how to put together and display each dish.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice breakfast and a good coffee, freshly squeezed juice or healthy smoothie.

Love the food here. The taste is consistent and it's convenient especially when you are going to do some grocery shopping at Woolies and can stop by for lunch.

Literally the best food I have ever ordered from a restaurant. It was absolutely amazing! We sat outside which probably isn't as nice as inside and the atmosphere was lacking, but the overhead heaters were great. Food came within 25ish minutes and the chef that brought it out was very hospitable. The girl who took the order the first time lacked PR skills.

Great ambiance, friendly and prompt service with awesome foods. This is all you want in a cafe.

This is a delightful spot. Wonderful staff delicious middle eastern inspired cuisine. Best breakfast in South Yarra. The waffles are gold standard, complete with spun sugar! A real hidden gem!
