Michelle-Ann Bras and Swimwear

I came in here for a fitting as a young person and that was my first mistake. I presumed a fitting meant I would be measured up in any capacity but that was not what occurred, despite me advising the lady that I didn’t know my size and hadn’t been fitted before. She kept bringing me bras that were simply ill fitting and hardly made any comments about what we could change for a better fit. This left me feeling like I was the problem, as she seemed to blame me and my body when it was clearly her lack of knowledge that was more the issue. She clearly incorrectly sized me up and presumed I wouldn’t want to pay for quality, as she was exclusively handing me bras that were discounted. I do have a larger cup size but I am absolutely within a normal stores size range.

Very happy with purchases.

Came here to buy bathers. Range was smaller than last time I was here. Took a couple of times approaching the counter, asking questions before I got served. Most of the staff are a bit stuffy and rude. I did find a pair of bathers though. I don't think I'd come back or recommend.

Best place to buy swimmers. The lovely shop staff actually want to help and advised me on the best style for my body shape. They also have a fantastic range of womens underwear. Highly recommend. When I was there a lady had travelled for over an hour to shop at Michelle-Ann.

Popped in today and still the best shop in Mornington, staff are fantastic, great friendly service and loads of stock to choose from.

I went to your store this morning and was served by Lauren. She was so helpful with choices and I was so happy and not stressed. The service is wonderful. I waited in my dressing room as she brought me suitable items to try on. She was knowledgeable and very kind. Thank you Lauren. From Sharon

As soon as i walked in I felt like i was being watched. I was told to not eat my banana bread due to the crumbs lol. I said okay but was then followed around the store around each corner and constantly stared at by the owner while she pretended to fix something as if i was about to steal or something. I felt really uncomfortable and while I was browsing she actually came up to me and told me there's nothing here my size and to go down the block to the other lingerie shop for what i was looking.

Worst shopping experience ever… I felt extremely violated and judged by the staff members. They followed me around the store and tried to take items I was holding off me. When I went to the change room they kept opening my curtain to “see how I was going” they flashed me to the other gentlemen waiting for there wives in the change rooms. Needless to say I was humiliated.

Terrible customer service, also be aware of their non existent returns policy!
The knowledge of the “expect fitter” was poor, I won’t be shopping there again.

Can always come here and get what I want as they have a million items of stock and a large size range.

Very rude staff members. Was looking for up market swimming costume and they kept taking me to the cheap wear. They don't let you look at what you want to, just try to tell you what you need. Wont go back!

My disabled daughter came to the store and was served by the owner Michele Ann herself.
They sold her $260 worth of items…. 2 of those were 2 pairs of underpants which look like they are 15 years old with perished elastic and brown stains that look like urine! You wouldn’t even give these to a charity shop! They obviously took advantage of her disability which is disgusting and I will be reporting the owner and business to the disability discrimination board.
So many bad reviews for this business! I’m surprised it’s still going …… TERRIBLE SHOP! BEWARE!

Recently purchased a nighgown from Michelle-Ann Bras and Swimwear which I had only 1 reciept for as I spilt payment and was only given the 1 receipt (which I didn't realise at the time of purchase) The tags remained on, and I had the original bag it came in. I've gone to return it as I was under the impression it was silk, only to read the tag and find out it was polyester I was told by the cashier that I was unable to return the item, because they don't take back intimates, and I only had one receipt.
It clearly states on the receipt 'no refunds on exchanges or bras' Sure I get that. But this is a nightie. I then ask for her to find the transaction history of the purchase, which she is unable to do as their register seems to be from 1990. The only thing she can offer me is a credit note, which is given to me on a piece of paper. To say I'm appalled by this whole thing is an understatement. I was met with rudeness as soon as I mentioned return. Unbelievable.

I have been an extremely loyal customer for at least 20 years. I hoped to buy bathers today, and after looking around I approached the ladies to ask for assistance. They had not greeted me on arrival, or even acknowledged my presence whilst looking in store, too busy chatting to each other. They were both then so rude and extremely dismissive. It was an awful feeling, and shopping experience. Quite upsetting.
(I then went to Swimwear Galore and spent $315 and got amazing bathers plus a great shopping experience.)

Walked in as a 14 year old girl and got confronted by the woman in the store. I was nice and said hello. I stood and was looking at a bra while she started doing something with the bras next to me. I felt uncomfortable so I went to look for more and she followed me asking questions after I told her I was just looking. I walked out got my parents and yet again got confronted by the same woman making us feel uncomfortable by standing there staring at us. Horrible customer service and I was definitely not giving my money to them. If you want us to buy don’t make young girls like me feel so uncomfortable in your store!

Saleslady quite rough and over busy. Said they needed more staff. I tried on two bras and chose 1. She took both bras to counter and put them both through even though I said only one. She looked like she had fixed it then left the rest to another saleslady who was very pleasant. When I got home found both had been charged to my account. Now I have to go BACK!
Not happy! Rushed and sloppy service.

I had given up hope of being properly fitted and feeling comfortable at the same time ever again. I'm older and larger and a bit self conscious these days and have been buying online for quite a while but was aware that I was long overdue for a proper fitting. I really thought that type of old fashioned service no longer existed. Stumbled on Michelle-Ann Bras quite by accident and am so glad I did. I had the expert assistance of two lovely ladies and discovered that I am in fact a whole size smaller than I thought. So very happy. Thank you ladies. I'll be recommending you to others and will definitely return!

Horrible staff! They are so rude and forget we are the reason they have jobs! THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS don’t waste your money
