It's unfortunate that I recently purchased a ring and were unable to propose with it, as I even have t had it for two weeks. However, upon attempting to return the unused ring, I was informed that it had signs of wear and damage, which suggests that i was sold a second-hand ring. To make matters worse, the seller won't accept the return, leaving me with a ring that isn't in the condition you expected it to be in.

Esta is just excellent. We’ve bought multiple pieces and every time we go back we love seeing her. She always remembers mine and my fiancés name and her customer service is just outstanding. Always such a pleasure dealing with her.

Worst customer service ever. I wanted to refund the necklace I bought the other day from the City shop as Michael Hill offers a refund at any store. This necklace was display one which many costumers can try on so I wasn't 100% happy but they said they had no stocks except display one. So there was no choice. The staff looked into the necklace with magnifier and told me she can't refund it because the necklace has hair on it. I explained It might be from costumers as I bought display one and I said I've never worn it and kept it in the original box with receipt in it since I bought. The necklace is just the same condition as I bought. Staff did not listen to me and kept saying she can't refund and told me to try other shop. It is unreasonable and unfair as the necklace is unworn. I felt terrible and hopeless with this service I've experienced at this store today. It was my first time experience with Michael Hill and I would not recommend Michael Hill to anyone. Be aware of this and careful with your purchase as you might not able to get refund or exchange.

Worse manager ever one might think a manager has better customer service skills and would be able to handle situations nicely and professionally DO NOT BUY FROM HERE none of the staff are competent enough to provide correct information on a product thwy sell and was not able to repair unless charging extra for a product that was defective when staff informed the manager of the situations the manager laughed and sed we broke it.such a bad place to purchase anything!

Save Your self the headaches and from this poorly trained and un experienced jewelry store THEY ONLY CARE WHEN BUY

Have shopped here in the past and spent a lot of money. Was looking for a gold bracelet today and asked to see it. Was asked to provide ID just to look at the bracelet. Never been asked for ID the numerous times I’ve shopped here or any jewellery store for that matter.

Get off on the wrong foot but they solved my problem at the end.
Services can definitely be improved. Still not sure if I will shop with them again though, maybe not.

The jewellery is nice but a little over priced compared to other stores.
Have been served on two seperate occasions by the same lady whose name I did not get. She was condescending and down right rude. I try to avoid the whole place because of her and shop online if I must.

Diana from the highpoint store was fantastic! Exceptional customer service, lovely to deal with and honestly the reason I will continue to support Michael Hill in Highpoint.

My wife was just in this shop this afternoon looking for an eternity ring next to her other two on her hand. The shop assistant was very rude and said that the rings they had in stock were probably out of her price range without even asking what the budget was or without knowing her at all. She left the shop in shock.

I visited this shop to ask for assistance regarding a ring that was purchased a long time ago. The ring was not even purchased at this shop but Heather & Pam did not hesitate and went above & beyond to assist. It was a great customer service experience. Thank You Heather & Pam!

Very slow service, waited there and watched as the staff serve other people who had gotten there after me. Whilst I was already there waiting beforehand for a good 20 minutes. Staff saw me waiting and still chose not to say anything or check in. Really bad service

The highlight of my experience at Michael Hill was being served by a wonderful lady by the name of Monique! She was extremely bubbly, knowledgeable, and overall extremely friendly and enthusiastic about her job. I did end up buying the ring she recommended in store, and am overall very happy with my purchase - moreso happy because I had her to help me and guide me throughout the examination of the ring.

I didn't think I was able to tell her how I felt in store because it's been very busy since COVID last opened, so thought I'd give feedback here on the page. Keep up the good work! Wanted to commend Monique on her customer service - people like Monique make everyone's days a little brighter:)

It's unfortunate for the employee who served us today who had such polite manners and a good customer service presentation however was really unhappy with the reply of another employee when I asked about the location of another store in the shopping centre. They had an attitude with their response and presented a rude negative body language which made us customers feel unwelcome. Should look to at least present the well known Michael Hill brand with some positive body language.

We've had two bad experiences here in a row now.

1- When buying a necklace from my partner, i was being helped by one staff member who was super nice and helpful. Another staff member then came over and also stared to help, but seemed to be a superior or more experienced. When the original lady chimed in with a comment, the superior put her hand out to gesture "don't speak". In typing this, i don't think it get's across how rude it appeared at the time, but it was one of the worst things i've seen in a retail environment. I felt really sorry for the original lady who was helping us, and wish i had of said something at the time, but i was a bit shocked.

2- They turned down my partners warranty when it was 3 weeks out of the one year warranty. I work in retail myself it never pays to turn someone away that close to an expired warranty.

My partner was looking at Michael Hill for an engagement ring, but we won't shop here again, at least not at this store.

The sales consultant Michael in this store is very rude. I would never go to this shop just because of him. No complaints about other sales consultants.
