Got the earrings that I ordered last week. The staff members (Manager too) are so friendly. They helped me to search the earrings if available stocks and luckily they found the stocks in other branch. I'm so happy. Thank you so much

They managed to hustle my partner out of $1000 (plus $100ish for a 'warranty) for a pair of earrings that I will never wear. He went in to grab something simple and stylish for me for my birthday.and got grossly upsold to what I can only describe as 'gaudy' fashion jewellery. They provided a ridiculous spiel to him about how fantastic and practical these earrings are, which is completely untrue and how I could take the rings off the hoops and wear them on a pendant (why? !). The store now refuses to exchange the unworn earrings for something more practical. $1100 for a box that's now thrown in the back of a drawer. Such a hustle and we've ended up with absolutely nothing useful.just lost money and a lot of anger at the disrespect. Definitely not a good birthday, thanks a lot Neha. WARNING: do not trust their advice or recommendations, they don't care, their only interest is maximising each sale.and there is zero accountability for bad advice/manipulative tactics by sales staff.

Oh my goodness.what a terrible experience.i literally sent a product to get repaired and paid for it and it came back more damaged than before.they refused to admit their wrong, despite me showing proof of what it looked like right before i gave it in as it was not looking like that at all!

the staff that was helping me was EXTREMELY RUDE, and can be described as very large size and asian.i simply pointed out that they had damaged my product and needed to repair it for me.he spoke to me in a disgusting and very rude tone and refused to answer my questions and refused to help.please anyone reading this- dont bother doing business with them.i really hope they were just having a bad day because i dont even know how half these guys are employed there.

If I could give zero stars with regards to customer service, I would.
We were completely ignored by 2 sales assistants who were doing nothing in the store with no other customers around, April 3 @ 4.12pm.

The only positive thing I can comment about Michael Hill was upon making a complaint online, I got a response from Jess (Michael Hill Customer Service) who apologised and assured me that they would investigate further.

A $5000 ring you buy at Michael Hill, be ready, if you loose stones (and you have only wear the ring maybe 10 times in 2 years) it is normal! Dixit one of the retailers « that’s why you buy a warranty ». And guess what? Even with the lifetime warranty you have to pay for the reparation.
Very bad customer services, they never answer your questions and don’t try to support you and find a solution because…. If there is a problem with the ring it is the customer’s fault! (Of course).
It is now 7 weeks they have got the ring, no update from their side until I went to the shop. To resume the situation, the manager’s solution was to give me back the ring with a saphir missing because they can’t find a matching saphir for the ring! I asked to swap this ring with another one of the same price and of course they can’t do that. I truly hope they will find a solution and my mum will be able to wear this ring. Will NEVER buy again at Michael Hill. Thank you for making a lifetime present a disaster.

Definitely didn’t enjoy the customer service. The staff had a lifeless attitude from the start. Particularly bad when we asked questions about warranty. She provided insufficient information and I had to ask more questions for an understandable answer. Which she didn’t seem to be happy about. When the purchase was done, she basically just put the bag in front of us without saying anything. No words, no smile. Quite ridiculous manner. At that moment we didn’t know what to do or how to react. We like Michael hill because we had very good experience at their store in Southland. But this store in chadstone is very disappointing. If the manager is reading this, the staff’s name is Audrey C (we found it on the receipt). You really need to improve the customer service if you care about customers at all.

Just attempted to return a necklace that my 12yo purchased for Christmas (with my money). Had the receipt with me and was returning as per their very publicly advertised returns and refunds policy for Christmas (which I'm sure netted them large amounts of extra sales). Was told I was not the "original" purchaser and I have to bring my child in to complete the transaction. Lots of weasel words from staff followed trying to say it's consumer law and that's their policy etc. A full search of their website details no such conditions and nothing publicly advertised that looks like anything close to this. This it clearly false and misleading conduct! Don't go to this Michael Hill or any Michael Hill unless you want to be poorly treated (this isn't the first bad experience)

I was Amazed with the service i received from Nav at Michael Hill Chadstone. What i really loved about him he was really accomodating & helpful plus Michael Hill Chadstone customer service is Top notch. I felt always welcomed by their team. We will definitely be back in the future

It was not a pleasant experience at all. I walked in in the afternoon time it was relatively quiet seeing only 2 sales person were serving customers and the other 3 standing at the back. Not a single salesperson person came up and asked if I needed a hand (after seeing that I was clearly looking at the items and looking at the directly). One salesperson who was at the front saw me yet proceeded to ask the person standing next to me if they needed a hand. When they said they were all good, she proceeded to further ignore me and walked away. Overall, unpleasant and distasteful experience.

They sell you 100 dollars worth of gold fo 1000 and then give you bad service on top.do yourself a favour buy elsewhere.

I'd give a zero for my experience at the store, if I could. The staff who attended to us, he was so rude, and so nasty, he was disrespectful and aggressive.
We ended up buying what we wanted at ANTON, a great experience; thanks to him and his zero customer service skills.

If I could post a ZERO rating for this store I would very gladly. No service at all, no keeping up to date at all and finally bracelet cannot be fixed by their apparent technician. Lousy store with a lousy service attitude.

This is my first visit to this shop on Saturday. I had an issues with an pendant I bought online wasn't to happy with the product. Decided to take it back.

The service I received from this ladies where prompt friendly and professional.

I was very impressed. I will definitely visit their shop in the future when I decide to buy jewellery again.

I can highly recommend this shop in Chadstone shopping centre.

Walked in with my partner and looked around then one of the staff asked us two walk out and come in a different door. As if there was a que. We were only 2 in the shop. No wonder this reviews are terrible

I came into Michael Hill Chadstone on 7.12.21 to return a $1400 Ruby Bracelet that had broken in one week. I was already really upset over the fact such an expensive item had broken so easily (it literally fell off my hand whilst walking without any tug or pull) but I figured they would give me a refund with no issues as it had only been a week since I purchased and it was clear the quality of the item was very poor. I was met by a man who I assume was the Manager and oh my god - I received the absolute worst customer service of my life. He was horrible, had no sympathy and told me I had broken the bracelet myself and would not get a refund. I was shocked and asked who else I could speak to and he said you can try head office but they will not give you a refund. His attitude was disgusting, I felt ashamed for even attempting to return something that had broken even though it wasn’t my fault. I’ve worked in retail for 15 years and own my own business and would NEVER DREAM of treating a customer with such disrespect - i am shocked that Michael Hill would even employ someone like this, I can see from the reviews and word of mouth that my situation is not a one off. I am warning anyone who wants to go to this store as I do not want anyone else being treated the way I was. I ended up seeing Glen at Doncaster and he was fantastic and refunded me straight away. I can also highly recommend Tayla at Frankston who helped with another bracelet I had that had unfortunately also broken (2 weeks after being repaired)
