I am visiting Melbourne - decided to go shopping for X-mas. Considered to pay Michael Hill a visit. The staff (who attended to me) was very friendly and extra helpful. They helped me with my request. Thank you very much. You went out of your way. Much appreciated.

Had a very bad experience where the old blonde lady at the counter wasn’t responding to my questions appropriately and didn’t bother to help me out. Her whispering something to her colleague while I was waiting for some help, followed by complete ignorant and prejudiced behaviour was all I needed to walk out empty handed and feeling dejected

Visited to purchase Gift Card for a friend’s birthday. Had the worst customer experience with Wendy. Very unprofessional and disinterested throughout the whole experience. Felt like an interaction at a fast food joint!

My husband's HUMM account has been hacked and scammers purchased from this store a chain worth $17398. I nearly got a heart attack when I saw the money disappear from our joint account right in front of my eyes. I called HUMM and they tried to put a blame on my husband for doing something wrong or clicking the link, which was totally untrue and wrong.

So, I decided to call this store directly and these guys were absolutely fantastic! Staff immediately took my details and contacted the manager and reassured me that they will not proceed with this purchase. Next morning I spoke with the manager Derek (hope it's correct spelling) and he has already contacted the HUMM to stop this transaction.
He explained that MHJ stores have a strict policy of checking person's credentials when picking up goods. Thanks to the stuff and particularly Derek who again contacted HUMM, and managed to immediately reverse the payment.

Went in to buy an engagement ring and I was really nervous, and wasn’t sure where to start. Wendy came in and helped me through everything she was amazing, so friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Everybody in the MH Bourke shop was so kind and helpful. We ordered our wedding rings quite last minute and they did everything they could to have the rings made in time, even earlier than what we agreed on.
I especially want to thank Mia and Raju.
We love our rings and we'll hopefully wear them happily ever after.

My 8y.o daughter had some birthday money to spend and the pair or earrings she really wanted were out of our price range. We left the store promising to find her some she had enough money for. While crossing the road one of the stores beautiful sales attendants chased after us and confirmed the store manager had been approached and had approved her purchase for the amount of money she had, saying they wanted her to have the earrings she really wanted. So incredibly generous and such wonderful service. We will be back!

Payed a deposit and was told I could cancel it just by writing an email. Now that I am back overseas they tell me that I have to go to the store in person. That means ai will never see that deposit again.

They are not helpful at all … just try to find excuses to not refund and not even fix the issue on necklace I bought from them.
I never buy anything from them again

Went in to browse some wedding bands on Sunday. Ended up with the old, blonde lady serving us. She seemed so miserable being there, may as well have just told us to not bother her and leave.and we only browsed 2-3 items before her snappy, depressed state was too much to be around. Ended up taking our business to Janai a few blocks away - where service was exceptional for similar pricing.

My husband and I went in to look at jewellery, as we were walking past the store. Walked in and I was just browsing and cheekily pointed out an expensive ring the sales woman rushed straight over sat down and kept insisting I try it on.i declined several times, she then said show me your fingers. I said im not trying it on but thanks. Then my husband stood next to me so she started on him that he needs to buy it for me.sorry but way too push and almost sounded desperate to make a sale.wont go back to that store.

My fiancé and I had a very pleasant experience at the Bourke Street stall. Raju was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. She really took the time to take care of us! Thanks again

Fantastic customer service in this store
Raj and the manager Derek were lovely and very professional I can't rate my wonderful experience high enough.

A bracelet bought 3 months ago was damaged twice which means that the quality of the gold is not very good, I tried to go for guarantee and they gave me a lot of trouble when the guarantee was supposed to be for much longer so I had to ask for the money back, also the supervisor did not help much with the process and told me that if he gave me the same bracelet it would be damaged again and they would not answer me for guarantee.

The staff are amazing I felt very welcome and they are very easy to communicate with, I will definitely be back for more:)

Went to Michael Hill today for an engagement ring.
I was greeted by the manager Derek who was very friendly and helpful I was looked after very well. I told him what I was looking for and he was wonderful. He introduced me to Hans the salesperson and told him what I was looking for.
Hans was so kind and wonderful service he showed me two gorgeous rings and both fitted me perfectly. Being a size m or n it's hard to find rings my size. The ring I purchased is absolutely gorgeous and looks beautiful on my finger

I recommend any one to shop at Michael Hill in Bourke St mall Melbourne the service and staff are fantastic and Derek is so lovely

Great range of products, good service. I brought my daughter ear rings here they were heavily reduced which was great!

Friendly staff especially Mia very helpful and gives me good advice. I always go and get myself a treat for my Birthday.

I purchased my rings for my engagement and wedding for my partner and i from derek and his team. Not only his team deliver on time, they also went above and beyond to chase after the jeweller to make sure it arrive in time for both my engagement and wedding.
