AWFUL SERVICE!

If only it’s possible to give no rating!
We booked and paid for a car to transport us on our wedding day. Communication leading up and just trying to even pay was like pulling teeth!
Oh and guess what guys - THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! My husband had to drive us - fancy being the bride and groom and being the literal last 2 people to leave!

Now let’s get to getting our refund - HA! What a joke - Ryan is useless and doesn’t reply unless I threaten to take him to consumer affairs, which I am! It’s been 7 months since my wedding and still no refund!

AWFUL SERVICE - stay away!

We used MG for our wedding for 3 smaller cars. Very competitive pricing and all cars came exactly on time. Communication a little slow at times in the lead up but absolutely no hesitation to recommend MGC.

We hired Ryan for our end of wedding transfer. 2 stars given for being competitively priced and arriving on time. However we unfortunately did not receive the quality service the other reviews speak of from Ryan or the driver. Firstly, the communication since booking has been very poor, no confirmation, reminders emails/texts or messages once the invoice has been paid, I needed to call the day before the wedding to ensure they were actually still coming, and generally Ryan was slow to respond to email enquiries or lost them all together. We paid $25 extra for the wedding ribbons to be on the car. The driver promptly arrived 10 minutes early which was great but the car did not have any wedding ribbons and was a different model to what we ordered. To add to the confusion the driver was texting and calling my mobile while out the front like an uber driver would despite knowing it was my wedding (and was still on-time). Guests told me after that the driver was struggling to park the car the way the venue managers were explaining to him at the time and partly had to give up. We made our exit infront of our guests to the car and the chaffeur driver didn't get out or open the door, he just sat in the front with the doors locked so we had to awkwardly pull the locked handles and then wait for him to unlock the doors. Once he unlocked them and we got in he only said a brief 'hi' and then asked what's the destination address while all of the guests were waiting. So we had to tell him to just drive off first at least so we weren't sitting there in front of everyone. The rest of the way to our destination he didn't say a word or congratulations etc. It feels like Ryan just got a family member to drive the vehicle last minute and had actually forgotten the booking (despite a checkup call from me the night before) as the driver was confused and didn't seem understand or empathize with the context of a wedding pickup and what a chaffeur does. I'm not fussy about these things but when you're paying $270 for a 10minute chaffeur ride you'd expect some solid communication and professionalism, this is compounded by the fact Ryan and his team have nearly all 5 star reviews on here stating excellent communication etc, which is objectively not how they operate at all. I've explained the situation to Ryan RE the incorrect car, no ribbons and unprofessional service and he was apologetic and explained there was an issue with the car we originally wanted. However he only explained this a week later once I had complained and hadn't felt the need to message or explain to me the situation before/after it happened. Likewise he didn't even think himself to offer a discount or refund for the wedding ribbons which we paid for and never received. He's offered the ribbon refund now after I had to ask, but 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for the transfer to come back and I'm now stuck with the same poor communication as previously.

Really solid experience with this Melbourne Chauffeur. Used MG as an airport chauffeur and was impressed by their punctuality and professionalism.
The corporate car was waiting for me as soon as I’d left the departures at Tullamarine Airport. Just as they said it would be.

Could not have asked for a better service on our wedding day on Friday. The service was impeccable, and so friendly! Our driver was great and despite us being late to meet him, he got us there quickly and safely. The communication was great too, and Ryan made the process so simple and easy for us- and the price was so reasonable. The car was also perfect! Cannot recommend highly enough, they were great!
