I must say I wasn’t sure to book a table on new year’s day because usually the outdoor food on these public holidays is not great. But Mezze restaurant proved me wrong. Food was amazing, service was amazing. Definitely recommend the middle eastern menu.

Fantastic food. They recently started Indian cuisine, it’s the best biryani I have tasted in Melbourne.

Delicious, flavorsome, interesting, well presented dishes of generous proportions.
Loved the huge beef kebab, tender, perfectly medium rare and well spiced with cardamom and cumin, creamy yogurt, rocket and tomato salad and the best saffron infused basmati rice.

The food was average at best. Lamb shish was dry. Food lacked seasoning in general. The bread pudding dessert Umm Ali was nice.

Absolutely fantastic Indian food we had.
Amazing ambience. We ordered a lot but our favorite would be Lamb Korma, Chicken Biriyani, and Gulab jamun brulee. Also om started chicken methi Malai and mohambre. Also chef Uday is just a legend. Great recommendations!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Novotel glen Waverley, and I must say it was an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional meal.
To start, I ordered the Methi malai kebab, and it was a true flavor explosion. The combination of fresh ingredients and expert seasoning created a tantalizing mix of textures and tastes that left my taste buds dancing. It was a delightful introduction to what was to come.
For the main course, I opted for the Chicken biryani. The presentation alone was a work of art, with vibrant colors. But it was the first bite that truly transported me to a world of culinary bliss. The dish showcased a perfect harmony of flavors, each ingredient complementing the other in a symphony of taste. It was evident that the chef's expertise and attention to detail were at play here.
The service throughout the meal was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving.
To conclude the evening, I indulged in the Zafrani Gulab Jamun Crème Brûlée, and it was the perfect ending to an extraordinary dining experience. It was the ideal balance of sweetness and richness, leaving me completely satisfied and longing for more.

Stood at the wait to be seated area for 10 minutes, while the girl looked at us 3 times ignored us and continued to count stock. 1 table in the whole place, and two staff…

This is a hidden gem in Glen Waverley! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The Mediterranean Food is pretty good, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. The Chef comes out personally and greets the guests. I would recommend anyone to give it a try, trust me its worth it!

Dined here with my partner after a movie, average service & terrible food.
We ordered the hot & colder meze platter for 2, it was 6 tiny over oily bites of warm not hot food and 3 flavour less oil filled dips. The salad was ruined by the deep fried croutons and the tzatziki was sour like it was off and had far too much oil pooled in the middle. The fresh bread was certainly not freshly baked more elike microwaved.
We didn't even finish the food it was so terrible and staff were not visible to make aware.
I wasn't going to leave a negative review until speaking with the front desk to pay the bill (which we paid in full) and she suggested we didn't know what Mediterranean food was and "the food can be controversial" and then suggested we should have ordered a Parma from the bar menu.
She looked confused when I told her the food was terrible as was service and drinks.
This was not our first time dining at a Mediterranean restaurant nor having meze, unfortunately this venue has a lot to work on with food standards. I felt like I should have been looking for the hidden cameras and Gordon Ramsay in disguise it was such a joke.

Great service! The chief came out multiple times to check our dining experience. Enjoyed the meal there!

Our family always enjoy the generous and delicious Mediterranean cuisine and great seevice…always a pleasure and we will be back!
