We've been going here for over 30 years now, it used to be the best Mexican restaurant in Geelong and Melbourne. Last year we visited and the food was very plain, no taste and the quality had not been its usual Mexican Graffiti. We went a few weeks ago hoping it would have just been a one off thing, unfortunately things are going from bad to worse. Order was incorrect, food tasted like the smell of dog food and unfortunately we won't be going back after all these years of support this business. We asked if there were new owners? Apparently not they have been the same for the past 10 to 15 years, but it hurts to say, the food over the past 5 has gone way down hill. Let's hope for their sake, thing go back to the old way of trading.

The food was really really great.

The service. Well. I stood inside the door for a while. The guy behind the counter left me there for quite a few minutes before he bothered to address me.

A female staff member did not know which Mexican beers were in stock.

So. Judge for yourself.

I would return for the food, however, if the service is 2nd rate, then why bother.

The beef in the enchilada was okay. That was the only good thing though. Lacks in flavour. The rice is yellow but has no taste at all. The sauce on the enchilada was terrible. No spices, no lemon, no season. So disappointed.

We had a delicious dinner here to celebrate the end of the school year. The food was absolutely delicious and came out super quick. The cocktails were also very yum! Service was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again soon.

Have tried their Quesadilla. Not sure why do they call it quesadilla. They chef need to know what quesadillas is. This was just bread was toasted with cheese. This can not be quesadilla.

Customer Service was fantastic.

Worst enchilada I ever had. The chicken tastes like nothing. No lime, no coriander, no beans, no season at all! The sauce is a lame, tastes like can. I felt they simply buy stuff from the Mexican area of Coles and put them all together in the restaurant. I've eaten better in a hospital. They don't know what good food is.

Also, I awaited 40 minutes for this. Unfortunately I don't have anything positive to write.

The food at the place was ok, we have had better Mexican food. However the taquitoes were really good.

Good service- burrito bowl was good personally didn't like the taste of something in it but that's just me. Nice place nonetheless

The chicken in my tacos was very dry and bland. Fish taco had a nice crisp but lacked flavour. Pork taco was the best of the lot! The actual taco tasted too flour-y, a bit disappointed.

Was passing through Geelong with my daughter and stopped here to eat. Fair to say we were very disappointed with the quality of "Mexican" food. If you want something your teenage kids can make you at home with stuff picked up in the Old El Paso section at the supermarket, then eat here. Otherwise, if you are heading through Melbourne and want real Mexican, go somewhere like Hot Lips in Highett or find the Dingo Ate My Taco food truck.

It's been around 10 years since we have last been to Mexican Graffiti so we thought we should really give them a try again.
And well, I'm glad that we did try them again as we won't go back for at least the next 20 years.
Ok so where to start.
1 - wanted taco's, but got told, despite them been corn tortillas, they could not do them gluten free and instead had to have los taco's instead. I did say I was happy for them to take an ingredient out if the tacos so that they would be gluten free, but no, there would be no negotiation, if I want gluten free then I have to order from the limited gluten free menu.
2 - we went during COVID in which the government has strict rules with how close you can be to other tables and how many you can have in a venue. Well, I highly doubt these guys understood the rules they had us right in tight next to another table and the amount of people in our section was surely too many.
3 - the quality of the food that we did get was pretty average.
Now, that is all the negatives. There were however some positives of the place and it is for this that we did not walk out and go somewhere else.
The venue is very kid friendly. They have colouring books to keep the kids entertained. The food is very plain, which while disappointing for the adults it is good for kids.
The cocktails were not to bad.
In closing, this place is a Geelong icon, it has been around for many years and no doubt will be around for many more to come. They do know there clientele and do cater for them. If you are new to Geelong and are looking for a genuine Mexican experience then stay well away from here. If however you are a family and looking for a different sort of venue to your pubs and want somewhere that is relaxed, easy going and friendly then yeah give these guys a go.

Generous serves and therefore good value. I found the burrito bowl bland, would order something different next time.

Pathetic food. Dont If my order was not right. I ordered burrito bown and 2 tacos witu cheesy garlic bread. Taco shellz were cheap ones from Aldi with refried frozen meat. I guess again from coles or woolies or aldi.no taste + no sauce.burrito bowl was bad too.only cut vegetables, boiled meat, very less rice that too not properly cooked. I dint like the food at all.

In terms of some meals, desserts and especially for me as a vegetarian.taco bill does a MUCH better job in pleasing and satisfying me. The best part about the whole place was the split bill system and the pretty decent customer service though they missed a couple of orders but at least they didn't get added to the bill at the end anyway so they just missed the one drink and dips entirely. But otherwise the food wasn't great and to add to the problem the table was kind of sticky? Wouldn't recommend and I'll try and avoid my sister booking us all there ever again to be frank. Somehow on a plus the fries and rice where addictive but in terms of the Mexican, next

WORST MEXICAN FOOD I’VE EVER HAD. Not worth going at all! Overpriced and food had no taste at all

We booked our table and were told in advance it would be outside which was fine as it was undercover and had a heater. There was a lot of food choices, maybe too many. Food did take a long time to come out. Seemed a bit disorganised. But when the food arrived it was beautiful. Lovely fresh salad and presented well. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Not a place to go if you’re in a rush, but great food

Beef burrito was unfortunately no good. It was filled with only a meat paste (nothing else as far as I could tell), and it was served grilled, like an enchilada, with melted cheese on top, and open ended.

Unfortunately the nicest part of our meal were the drinks! The food was messy, cold and had no flavour. We had the combination plates. The rice looked and tasted like it was from a microwave packet. The beans.no comment. The tacos/enchiladas had no flavour. It was plain, unseasoned meat shoved in a casing and topped with a basic sauce. For the price, it was overall quite an unenjoyable experience. We will not be returning here any time soon.
