Metro Bolts reviews
18I had a small project and I needed some very specific bolts. Ross was highly knowledgeable and knew immediately what I needed. He was Incredibly helpful.
Only needed a few items to finish off a project and Metro was the go to place. Please be aware of the $5 minimum charge, still great prices compared to going to Autobarn for a blister pack of the same items for more $$.
Friendly fellow on the desk, would recommend.
Quick, well priced and they had everything that I required. Much better and cheaper than Bunnings, or eBay.
This place has been great helping out a couple of times when I've only needed one or two specific replacement bolts - would recommend.
Absolute legends. Love Metro Bolts and the team that works there. Always nice and always helpful. Extremely convenient!
I mostly end up needing a specific part, bolt, washer etc.often without being positive what the right terminology is. Every time Metro Bolts sorts me out, have just what I need, and I can get just the quantity I need, meaning it's cheaper than any other supplier. Great outfit.
I fondly remembered their supplying obscure Brit threads when I did up a BSA. So when the local bolt co'y said my Subaru studs were made from unobtainium, I just knew the trip in would be worthwhile.
Huge range of stock; really good prices; excellent service; always reliable. Don't bother with anyone else.
Showed up with an unusual request.needed a set of high tensile studs for the back wheel on my moto. They didnt have the correct size but arranged an engineering shop to pick up the rod from thier shop, cut it dressed it, slotted it. Got a call 5 days latter that my gear was ready. Everything was there waiting. These guys are the real deal
Really cheap. Really helpful and really quick. Good location. Couldn't ask for better experience
Fantastic! Had a bolt from an extremely old camera stand, so finding parts was impossible. One buggered bolt rendering a $10k camera stand useless and they were able to find the replacement bolt I was after very quickly.
And yet the bolt only cost $2. Amazing service
If you know what you need, they'll most probably have what you want. No fluff kind of service. You'd wish that you had more stuff needing replacement, just because of their excellent service! Highly recommended. Top job guys
Thanks guys at metro bolts. I usually only need a couple of hard to get and essential bolts. You help me out, and it costs so few dollars. How can you be so helpful for the price? Please don't go away or I will be lost!
I feel embarrassed going in for my 6 nuts and bolts but the guys are always super hrelpful - I dont know here else I'd go for my tricky Imperial stuff
Thanks Ross for going the extra mile to get us the nylon bolts that we needed on a very tight timeline.
We couldn't have been happier with your customer service!
Thanks again from the team at Applied Machinery
Great service. They're always happy to help out with a job of any size. I feel like a tool going in for a couple small things but they always sort me out
Brilliant service. I needed an obscure type of bolt, in large numbers, and Metro got it in quick and easy. A couple of other suppliers said that what I wanted couldn't be sourced in Aus. Very good service.
Revoltingly rude. Guy behind the counter (Ross?) has got a severe attitude problem, an absolute "know it all" who scoffs and roll's his eyes when you don't know what your looking for then acts like he's doing you a favor by going out the back and looking for you. I guess i'd be pretty unhappy with my lot if I was just a bolt salesman at his late stage in life, but I certainly wouldn't treat other people like they were idiots to make myself feel better. I now drive to United Fasteners in Clayton where they are so much more helpful and cheerful aswell.
