Visiting Dr Tijani at Mernda GP Clinic for a while. Dr Tijani has always been spot on in diagnosis and treatment. He is one of the best in this area. Strongly recommended.

It’s my first time to book with Dr Fatima. All I can say is very unprofessional. I am very disappointed. I had very unpleasant experience there because of the way she talk to me but even she realised she shouldn’t speak that way, she didn’t apologise instead keep saying that it was just misunderstanding and try her best to make it my fault to get upset with her unpleasant words. I am not recommended anyone to see her if you can have any other GP. Not only me, all my family didn’t have a good experience with her. Anyone I know in Mernda is not going back to her. No wander why she is available anytime. Because no people want to go back to her.

Dr Hafis is very thorough and takes his time to listen and goes the extra mile to get to the root of the problem.
I can freely ask any medical queries and he is keen to explain things in detail.

Dr Tijani has looked after my husband and myself since moving to Mernda.

We have been seeing Dr Tijani for years (even before the covid pandemic). As a family with young kids, Dr Tijani is very thorough and accomodating. He makes sure that our children are comfortable at the check-ups and they love seeing Dr Tijani. He also listens to all our concerns and considers different perspectives about our health issues. I highly recommend Dr Tijani at mernda GP. Especially if you need a GP that listens to the wholistic picture of your or your child's health.

As with many organisations - be that healthcare or otherwise - it's the people that make all of the difference. Needing to find a new family GP last year, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tijani. So glad that I did! He is an excellent doctor, and I always feel valued as a patient (never rushed). Even when you might feel a little silly asking questions, he always reassures you. Such a genuinely kind person, very professional, and courteous.

I saw Dr Fatima A.in regards to my daughter and was amazed at the kindness and service that I received. She was prompt to offer services to help solve my issue. Plus my two girls were very thankful and happy:)

I’ve been to quite a number of doctors clinics in my life but honestly this clinic is one of the best, the staff are amazing and understanding the clinic itself is very clean and modern the doctor I see is doctor Tijani words can not explain how understanding, compassionate and caring he is everything you expect in a doctor and more, I have been seeing Doctor Tijani for almost 2 years now I can not see myself seeing any other doctor to be very honest

First time at this clinic for my 10 month old and had the worse experience ever! Booked an appointment with Dr Fatima got my son checked. He had a very bad cough, runny nose and was very miserable. She told me he is fine, his throat and ears are not infected and just to give him a antihistamine syrup to help with his cough. What’s that got to do with anything? After I left the clinic I took my son to the royal childrens hospital as he was very ill and couldn’t breathe. My son got diagnosed with croup and ended up in ICU for 2 nights. If I trusted the doctor and went home and continued giving him Panadol or syrup my son could of ended up worse. Please don’t go to this clinic worse doctors ever. They don’t know what they’re doing and prescribing you with wrong medication and giving out false results. Don’t know how there qualified as a doctor. I won’t be back.

The receptionist here was very rude to me - apparently it is wrong of me to rock up 30 mins before the appointment time - im happy to wait in the waiting room ffs. Anyway, saw dr fatima and she was very kind and caring. Receptionists at regent st much better.

As a new patient to this clinic I am extremely disappointed after having a good experience at the regent street centre with my children.

I had an appointment scheduled for today in which when I arrived I noticed there are signs on the door saying 'no mask, no entry', although the regent street centre only makes you put them on if you have covid symptoms. I placed my mask on to walk in to the reception staff not wearing one. The reception staff then ask me if I have covid symptoms, to which I replied yes however I have rat tested twice and it is negative. They then proceed to tell me I will need a pcr but the doctor will convert to a telehealth and call me shortly. I asked them how I am supposed to get diagnosed with what I suspect I have if the doctor can't see me physically.

The doctor calls to which I explain my symptoms of tonsilitis to her. She then proceeds to tell me she can't give me a script without seeing my tonsils, but won't do that because I have covid symptoms.

The double standards between the two clinics are not ok. If every other industry INCLUDING hospitals (my daughter recently had surgery at the childrens and all the was required was a negative rat) are only requiring negative rat tests, why are you so different?

If I can avoid, I will.

I would like to share my best experience with Dr Fatima, who is professional, humble, knowledgeable practitioner. She is always there for you at anytime of the day. I had a session with her at 8.30pm today. Overall this clinic has been great experience for me. Highly recommend

Such a great clinic. Always on time. Dr Fatima is a lovely person and a great doctor. And Vicky at front desk is always so helpful, accommodating and prompt.

Dr Fatima is a horrible person, she was very rude and aggressive towards me. I have a medical exemption to wear a mask issued from this clinic. I let the receptionist know I had a medical exemption when booking my appointment and this information has been in their system for months. When Dr Fatima saw me, she looked at me disgusted because I was without a mask and without asking me my reasons, she kicked me out of the clinic. I explained I have a medical exemption because of CPTSD and she didn't believe me, treating me like a liar! I put on the mask crying telling her I will try my best but she was so rude to me that caused me to have an anxiety attack inside the clinic and she closed the door on my face telling me to get out! I waited outside trying to understand what was happening and she opened the door and told me to get out of the clinic! I was clearly upset having a panic attack trying to wear the mask and she started yelling at the receptionist to kick me out because I didn't have a mask on! She is a horrible person, what kind of doctor having all my medical records doesn't show compassion for their patients? I felt violated on my rights and treated wrongly because of my medical condition. She shouldn't be seeing patients if she is going to treat us like rubbish. She is a bad person and a bad doctor.

Doctor was extremely unhelpful and I felt like I was being rushed off the phone the whole appointment just for the doctor to hang up on me before I could ask any further questions.

Called and made a complaint And was told to make a face to face appointment so that hopefully I could be helped. When I went there the doctor greeted me with “so what you were COMPLAINING about was…” she was extremely passive aggressive towards me and loudly sighed whenever I spoke as if I was a burden. The conclusion of my appointment was “so there’s no problem here”. Never had a more unprofessional experience in my life.

New to the area so I made app at Mernda GP Clinic saw Dr Fatima Assily was very impressed she is very thorough foun the staff to be very friendly and helpful

Always greeted by the lovely lady on reception and have made Dr Fatima the regular for my baby son. She is professional, knowledgeable and as a first time mum, has made me feel at ease with her thoroughness and attention to his needs.
The clinic is clean, peaceful and "on time".
Very happy and would easily recommend to others.

Saw Dr Fatima and was extremely happy with her knowledge and experience as a GP. Lovely friendly and clean clinic. Wont be going anywhere else. Totally recommend:)
