Meredith Cafe and Corner Store

Have been in here about 5 times now. Always good service. Take away food is nice, with generous Servings.

Stopped here for breakfast. Very nice bacon and egg sandwich. Coffee was good to. All good. Jim

Not the fanciest store on the planet but the service, coffee and food are great. Give it a go.

This was our last stop before heading to our camp site, so try to get as much stuff I needed that I had forgotten at home. So thank you!

The takeaways are okay, bought a vegie pastie, didn't like it, and potato cakes, which was tastless and very greasy, have had better elswhere. Also thought the foods was a little over priced.

Delicious pies, great range of everything, 3 stars because everytime I'm here I get a battered Sav and its always too crispy or burnt.

Great coffee & vanilla slice, magnificent choice of food all fresh daily & friendly service. I will be back highly recommend.

Great spot for grabbing a pipe while carving corners in Victoria. Good selection and ready to go. Rarely pass through without a stop.

The girl and the older man in this store were the most friendly shop keepers I have come across in a long time. The young girl knows how to make a sandwich too!

The cakes are amazing best chocolate exclaim I have tasted in years and the custard in the custard tarts was divine. My soy latte was made well too by the young woman there. Tables and chairs outside due to covid, was a good day for it.

Brought a pastie from there today think it's been in the baymaree all morning nearly broke my teeth

Don't drive between Geelong and Ballarat without stopping in. Best dimmies and had an awesome hamburger with the lot.

I really appreciate this store being open during the covid times. As a cyclist, it's awesome to have somewhere you can rely on being open on a long ride for a coffee and meal

Did bloody well to manage the stream of festival goers, quick service. Basic foods but thankful after an early drive.

Bad customer service, do not speak nicely to customers, hurtle abuse at you.
Do NOT take care of the locals, especially in regards to mail service for local residents that work in either GEELONG or BALLARAT. If I could give it NO STARS I WOULD.
Not very nice people that run it now.
I work out of town full time, they will not allow mail pick up/Drop off out side of business hours for LOCAL residents and just tell you to get your mail re directed to another town in which you don't live.
I for one am boycotting the store, their food is terrible made me sick

Amazing cakes & coffee. They make the best chicken wraps and steak sandwiches. Love dropping in to say hello. Super friendly staff too!

The coffee and food were lovely and the girl who served us very helpful and friendly. We will definitely return when next in the area.
