Wonderful stay yet again.
We’ve stayed numerous times and keep returning because of the lovely staff, fantastic location and beautiful views from the rooms.
We enjoyed the new menu too.
We had a small issue and within minutes the attentive staff had responded and resolved it.
We will keep returning to one of our favourite hotels.

A one night staycation as a couple. Nice new hotel right next to the shopping centre. Room was comfortable, great TV channels. Pool and gym area also very nice. Would have scored higher but not enough staff at breakfast. The buffet was empty when we arrived and when new food appeared it went before you had a chance to get to it. Other than this, it was a very good stay and the hotel has great potential.

Called booked direct, requested twin share, arrived to check in, lady who served was new (not her fault) ended up being told to wait by another receptionist, got abused by people in the line for not going back to the end of the line again…everyone very frustrated waiting.
Went up to my room…one bed. Back down to reception, line up, told it was my fault as I hadn’t told them there was two of us (I wasn’t asked but I figured asking for twin share would give that away).
Back to old room to get our bags, into new room…no lights. Looked high and low using our phone torch’s for something to tell us how to turn on lights…card slot? Secret switch? Nothing. Called to reception, watched TV while waiting for someone to come tell us how to turn on lights. Discuss how tiny room was, twin share and beds still touching, what the? Guy turns up with ladder, spends 10 minutes looking around, he also can’t work out the light situ.
Back to reception, require our third room, but yay an up grade!
Into third room, upgrade exactly same size as first two rooms, twin share with beds still touching… but I did get to learn that “upgrade” is just code for same room up higher in the building so give illusion of fancier.
On the plus, breakfast was nice. My room mate was keen for “eggs your way” but chef was no where to be seen, had to ask for a plate as none to be seen, also had to ask for cuttlery from the kitchen.
Also we sat at a dirty table that wasn’t cleaned from the last person who sat there & if I think about it all the tables around had not been cleaned from there last patrons, and all sat dirty the whole time we ate. So maybe breakfast wasn’t actually that great…but I did appreciate the gluten free options
Would I stay there again, absolutely not…but did it create some talking points for in the future, absolutely

We booked this hotel as the venue for an in room seminar that was to be live streamed to various parts of the country and overseas. Once it was established that the in room AV wouldn't talk to our own equipment, the general manager organised, at his expense, to bring you a third party supplier and ensured our day was seamless. The sign of any good service team is not how it's delivered when things are going well… It's how it is rectified when things are not! If you are considering a conference venue I would stop the search and book the room at the Mercure Hotel Doncaster NOW

We were invited to the Mercure for a function, trust me when I say that the photos online do not do this hotel justice. The city views are amazing, the setting is ultra modern. Highly recommend a visit to their restaurant and gorgeous outdoor alfresco. The hotel has a weekend buffet breakfast and an indoor pool, which I had no idea about! Will certainly return!

Didn’t stay here but want to comment about the parking on the night we dined at Chido Chido last month. It was chaotic due to incorrect information provided by the Mercure Melbourne Doncaster. The cost for parking was more than what was stated to me at time of reservation.

Mercure Doncaster is an exceptional hotel that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.

One of the standout features of Mercure Doncaster is the level of service provided by the staff. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town center and offers easy access to local attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. Additionally, the hotel's facilities, including the fitness center and the indoor pool, were well-maintained and offered a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Overall, I highly recommend Mercure Doncaster to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers everything you need for a memorable stay. I will definitely be returning to Mercure Doncaster in the future and cannot recommend it enough

Excellent brand new hotel in Doncaster, very convenient to Westfield next door. The Mexican themed restaurant was fantastic and offers a selection of street style food. The margarita and desserts were also very good and we'll be back for those.

View from the outdoor terrace was very scenic.

I held my 50th birthday function at the Mercure Melbourne Doncaster and it was a sensational night. The staff were fantastic and made sure all of my guests were looked after. I chose to book a room at the hotel on the night so we didn't have to worry about driving home. The room was very clean, quite modern and came with a complimentary breakfast which was very nice. I was extremely satisfied with my function, the room and the fantastic service the Mercure Melbourne Doncaster staff provided. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to do the same thing

Stayed here for 3 wks on & off for work. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the finishings. It has a very jazz/modern feel to it. The staff are all really friendly too - nothing is too hard. Hopefully will get back here one day with my wife given Westfield is literally right next dr!

Loved location, view, staff and facilities, but unfortunately our room was too hot and stuffy with a very poor air conditioning system that could not cool the room to any degree at all. The staff tried to help, but couldn’t do anything to change the heat inside the room from afternoon sun, facing west. In the end I had to leave and go and get a portable fan to move air in the room, with door open to try and flush out hot air and bring in cooler air from corridor. Sleep was extremely difficult and uncomfortable. Curtains do not stop build up of heat on glass coming into the room from afternoon sun.
Air conditioning system needs fixing, up grading or replacing to manage the heat build up inside westerly facing rooms. Reflective tint, external shading should have been considered in design and build. Disappointed a refund for night’s accommodation was not offered.

Our family of five had a staycation thanks to our All free nights. Great new hotel close to shoppo with local historical touches throughout and well decorated rooms and facilities. Overall very happy with the stay and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Restaurant was Mexican inspired and really tasty food. Breakfast buffet was a little light on variety but had all the staples. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something in the suburbs that has a city feel.

We had an amazing stay. Great location, right next to Doncaster shopping centre and close to a lot of wineries in the area but at the same time easy access to Melbourne CBD. The rooms are very new and modern, the hotel just opened last year. Beautiful terrace where you can spend time relaxing and enjoying a drink. The staff were very lovely and nothing was a problem. I had the best omelette at buffet breakfast, highly recommend. The hotel is very family friendly and has a stunning swimming pool. We definitely will be back soon.

Room was excellent, staff very nice.but outside on building there is a piece of the flashing (possibly) that vibrates so loudly in the wind it wakes you, on reporting it at checkout was told that guests have reported it before?

We had an AMAZING staycation at Mercure Doncaster recently! All their staff were very warm & helpful, our room was immaculate, beds were extremely comfortable & we really appreciated the luxury design details in the ensuite. The heated pool was a HUGE hit & my husband loved the facilities at the gym too. We enjoyed a cocktail on the sun drenched alfresco area before hitting the in hotel Mexican restaurant for dinner, food was delicious & you definitely can’t go past the Mexican inspired oysters yummm! Location is great too being opposite Doncaster Westfield & not far from Heidi Museum & the Yarra Valley! Overall we had an amazing stay & wish we’d stayed longer! We’ll definitely be back!
